Summer Fridays earns largely positive reviews for plush, hydrating textures—particularly the Lip Butter Balm and Jet Lag Mask, which many say leave skin and lips soft, glowy, and comfortable—yet opinions split on efficacy: some see transformative hydration while others find results mild or experience irritation, especially with Jet Lag. Reviewers praise the clean-feeling formulas and sleek, travel-friendly packaging, but note issues such as stickiness, scent intensity, pigment sheerness, occasional pilling, and reports of reactions or dryness in sensitive users.

  • I was pleasantly surprised! I was originally expecting something that would make my lips more chapped but it didn't! It's actually amazing and I use it everyday. Very hydrating and good for everyday use.

  • The jet lag mask continues to be a staple for me when I fly or winter hits and my skin gets dry.

  • I love the summer fridays jet lag mask, very moisturizing. I love to use it when my skin feels especially dry.

  • The lip butter is awesome. Great smell, nice consistency and is moisturizing. I like to use a lip liner and then top with the lip butter. I've repurchased several times and will continue to do so!

  • The Summer Fridays lip balm is a holy grail product for me. I LOVE the color Poppy and find it to be a good replacement for the original Glossier Balm Dot Com in Fig. It is hydrating and feels luxurious on the lips.

  • Oh my gosh!!!! I been seeing the lip balm all over my tik tok. My husband got the pink sugar lip balm. I tried it out and I love it!!!! I thought it was overrated and over hyped but after trying it. I see why its popular. Packaging: Consider the packaging of the lip balm. Is it practical and hygienic? Does it have an appealing design? Ingredients: Look for information about the ingredients used in the lip balm. Does it contain nourishing and hydrating ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, or hyaluronic acid? Does it avoid potentially harmful ingredients? Texture and Feel: A good lip balm should apply smoothly and feel comfortable on the lips. It should provide hydration without feeling too heavy, sticky, or greasy. Scent and Flavor: Since you mentioned "pink sugar," it's likely that this lip balm has a specific scent or flavor. Assess whether you enjoy the scent and taste, as this can be a personal preference. Longevity: How long does the lip balm stay on your lips before needing reapplication? A longer-lasting lip balm can be more convenient. Effectiveness: Does the lip balm effectively hydrate and nourish your lips? Does it help with dryness, chapping, or other lip concerns? Price: Consider the price point of the product and whether it offers good value for the quality and quantity provided. Customer Reviews: Check for customer reviews and testimonials online to get a sense of how others have experienced the product. Pay attention to both positive and negative feedback to make an informed decision. Allergies or Sensitivities: Be aware of any specific ingredients that you may be allergic to or sensitive to, especially if you have sensitive skin.

  • I tried the jet lag mask and very much enjoyed the texture and how my skin felt after using it. however, I tired different masks that do the same job but are a fraction of the price

  • I absolutely love the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, it makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated without causing breakouts. I'd love to try more products from this brand.

  • I really like vegan skincare. I've tried the moisturizing cream. It is a bit thick but felt really nice. The morning after application my skin felt really hydrated. It had a really light scent.

  • I’ve given the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm a try, and here’s my take on it. The Vanilla Beige color is nice, especially if you have tan skin like me. I was surprised at how long it lasted; I didn’t need to replace it quickly. It’s nice because it keeps my lips soft without feeling all sticky. I liked the simple look of the container, but I wasn’t too into the vanilla smell. It was a bit strong for my taste. Overall, if you’re looking for a basic lip balm that works well, this could be a good pick. Just a heads up about the smell – it might not be for everyone.

  • Their lip butter balm is amazing of course, but the cloud dew moisturizer is slept on!!!! One of the most hydrating moisturizers I’ve ever used, I keep going back to it and repurchasing. My entire skincare routine would be Summer Fridays if I could afford it.

  • I work in dermatology and I have tested a few of their products. They are overall okay but the price is too high for what you get.

I would like to see the price or the quality o the product improve

  • I love summer Fridays!! theyre products are amazing and they're lip balm have transformed my lips. im a lip biter and I can not tell you how soft my lips are

  • Big fan of their OG mask in the blue tube! Adds so much moisture to my skin without feeling greasy. Perfect to wear on long flights or overnight in the winter!

  • If I could give Summer Fridays a rating of zero, I would. Always eager to try new skincare products and seldom one to leave a bad review, I am no stranger to trying out the subpar product craze du jour and moving on with no love lost but my experience with Summer Fridays was exceptionally bad. I purchased the Jet Lag mask and after one use, suffered a severe reaction that bordered on chemical burn. Painful stinging, redness, flaking and irritation that did not subside for almost two weeks, requiring my dermatologist to prescribe a topical ointment. That said, these things happen. A fluke? As such, I reached out to Summer Fridays via customer support on their website to inform them -- and in hopes of a return/refund. When my two emails were met with no response, I DM'ed them on Instagram. Again, no response. However, I did see MANY comments on their Instagram page citing similar experiences.

  • I use the Summer Friday’s Butter Balm everyday. I am very picky with lip care and I don’t have a problem with this one. It spreads on my lips so nicely, isn’t sticky, and the color is perfect.

  • The CC me serum is magical. Unlike most Vitamin C serums it is not sticky. It smells great and absorbs quickly. I get bummed when I accidentally skip it in my morning routine.

  • got the jet lag mask as a present. i like that it goes on super light and how versatile it is. not sure if it actually works or if i'd spend my own money on it.

  • The Summer Fridays jet lag mask and lip treatments are some of the most hydrating skin care products I have ever used. Their ingredients are high quality and good for your skin, and they always leave me glowing. My go-to face mask before a night out :)
