  • Luxurious, hydrating textures

Summer Fridays earns strong reviews for delivering hydrating, glow-giving staples—especially the viral Lip Butter Balm and Jet Lag Mask—which many say keep lips plush for hours and revive dry, travel-worn skin. Reviews also flag meaningful drawbacks: several users report irritation or breakouts (including reactions to Jet Lag and eye formulas), divisive scents and stickiness in some lip shades, very sheer base products, and packaging gripes, making the brand feel overhyped or not worth it for some.

  • I really love this brand!! It made my skin glowy and hydrated 💗 My favorite product is definitely the Jet Lag mask. It’s so hydrating and I love using it under my makeup for a dewy base!

  • It's the way that I'm addicted to their lip balms. I have 4 of their lip balms and I just love them so much. The price point is definitely higher than I would like but the consistency and the tints are unmatched. I do think that there's plenty of product in each tube to last a while.

  • I have tried the lip gloss and love them so much. I have 3 shades and they are all the perfect pigment/ coverage that I expected and the flavors are so good!

  • I have tried their lip butter - I really like it but it's not something I absolutely have to purchase again. I have also tried their sleep mask which is similar to a super thick moisturizer. I liked it but I didn't feel like my skin needed something that heavy duty. It was extremely hydrating though!

  • While I like the idea of the jet lag mask, I did not like how sticky and thick it felt and it did not provide much hydration.

  • Lip butter balm is my absolute favorite lip product. I use everyday as a lip balm but also like the Vanilla Beige to add some color. Definitely would recommend trying!

  • Love their masks! I'm on rotation of them for years. I actually like their exfoliating mask more than the iconic jet lag one. The products are on the pricier end, but once you find what will work for your skin, it's worth it!

  • I was pleasantly surprised! I was originally expecting something that would make my lips more chapped but it didn't! It's actually amazing and I use it everyday. Very hydrating and good for everyday use.

  • The jet lag mask continues to be a staple for me when I fly or winter hits and my skin gets dry.

  • I love the summer fridays jet lag mask, very moisturizing. I love to use it when my skin feels especially dry.

  • The lip butter is awesome. Great smell, nice consistency and is moisturizing. I like to use a lip liner and then top with the lip butter. I've repurchased several times and will continue to do so!

  • The Summer Fridays lip balm is a holy grail product for me. I LOVE the color Poppy and find it to be a good replacement for the original Glossier Balm Dot Com in Fig. It is hydrating and feels luxurious on the lips.

  • Oh my gosh!!!! I been seeing the lip balm all over my tik tok. My husband got the pink sugar lip balm. I tried it out and I love it!!!! I thought it was overrated and over hyped but after trying it. I see why its popular. Packaging: Consider the packaging of the lip balm. Is it practical and hygienic? Does it have an appealing design? Ingredients: Look for information about the ingredients used in the lip balm. Does it contain nourishing and hydrating ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, or hyaluronic acid? Does it avoid potentially harmful ingredients? Texture and Feel: A good lip balm should apply smoothly and feel comfortable on the lips. It should provide hydration without feeling too heavy, sticky, or greasy. Scent and Flavor: Since you mentioned "pink sugar," it's likely that this lip balm has a specific scent or flavor. Assess whether you enjoy the scent and taste, as this can be a personal preference. Longevity: How long does the lip balm stay on your lips before needing reapplication? A longer-lasting lip balm can be more convenient. Effectiveness: Does the lip balm effectively hydrate and nourish your lips? Does it help with dryness, chapping, or other lip concerns? Price: Consider the price point of the product and whether it offers good value for the quality and quantity provided. Customer Reviews: Check for customer reviews and testimonials online to get a sense of how others have experienced the product. Pay attention to both positive and negative feedback to make an informed decision. Allergies or Sensitivities: Be aware of any specific ingredients that you may be allergic to or sensitive to, especially if you have sensitive skin.

  • I tried the jet lag mask and very much enjoyed the texture and how my skin felt after using it. however, I tired different masks that do the same job but are a fraction of the price

  • I absolutely love the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, it makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated without causing breakouts. I'd love to try more products from this brand.

  • I really like vegan skincare. I've tried the moisturizing cream. It is a bit thick but felt really nice. The morning after application my skin felt really hydrated. It had a really light scent.

  • I’ve given the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm a try, and here’s my take on it. The Vanilla Beige color is nice, especially if you have tan skin like me. I was surprised at how long it lasted; I didn’t need to replace it quickly. It’s nice because it keeps my lips soft without feeling all sticky. I liked the simple look of the container, but I wasn’t too into the vanilla smell. It was a bit strong for my taste. Overall, if you’re looking for a basic lip balm that works well, this could be a good pick. Just a heads up about the smell – it might not be for everyone.
