is it possible to love my trash cans? i think i do. they're the right size, open quickly, close slowly (but always close). And the plastic insert means that if you want to wash it out, you're not lugging the full metal can down to the basement.

Their soap dispensers and trash recepticals are my favorite.

We currently have 2 Simplehuman waste cans in our home, and have enjoyed their functionality and design for years. They are sleek, yet do the job they were intended for. Based on our satisfaction with these items, we would easily purchase more products from Simplehuman.

We have a simple human bin which we bought because it looks sleek and fits neatly into a small corner of the kitchen. I also really love how it has an internal section that can be pulled out and easily loaded with a bin bag.

I bought a medium sized SimpleHuman garbage can for my office. This sounds so silly as I write it but I LOVE THAT GARBAGE CAN! The bags for it are perfectly fitting, never tear, are thick and sturdy, and not see-through. I did order extras to fit the can (I think they are an "F" size). The size of the can is perfect. To open the can, there is a foot pedal, and I let it go and it slowly returns to it's closed status. It's just a great product!

Great products that are helpful useful functional and simply designed

I own two of their trash cans, a soap dispenser and two paper towel dispensers - you could say I’m a fan for sure! One of my trash cans has been working flawlessly for over 10 years. The other has been a workhorse for over 5. The soap dispenser and paper towel dispensers are more recent purchases, but everything about them says I’ll have them for a few and have no complaints. Definitely a pricey brand, but absolutely worth it.

The best designed, quality kitchen organization.

Amazing brand. Almost everything they put out is engineered to delight (yes, a trashcan CAN delight) and last for a long time. If I need something small/functional for our household I almost always check to see if Simplehuman has made it. Of the products I own, a large trash can (10+ years) has survived 3 cross-country moves, multiple small trash cans have adorned my house bathrooms for 5+ years (crucially keeping my troublesome dog out with their step open action), a motion sensor soap dispenser is still going strong after 3 years (I charge it about once every 4-6 weeks and have never had clogging despite using Dawn soap instead of their brand), and a pet food can has reliably kept my pup's food dry and safe for 5+ years.

Good quality products, have used and seen others use and all good remarks. Can be pricier than other options in store but these can have a more luxurious look and feel.

Easy to clean. Durable construction. I have had mine about 7 years and still in great shape.

I've had a trash can from them for years and love how easy it is to clean. The bags are kind of expensive at first, but they're super sturdy and I'm never worried about leakage.

Love the aesthetic, quality and performance of Simple Human products. They’re a little on the expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Very simple kitchen trash can which didn't cost the earth. Easy to clean, locks and holds the trash bag in the container without it slipping.

I have a 10 gallon trash can from Simplehuman. I love the sleek and slim look. It fit perfectly in a corner/nook of my kitchen. I appreciate the inner can as well. It adds a sleekness and extra element of hygiene. Easier to clean

Was hesitant about a hefty price tag on simplehuman garbage cans, but the quality is amazing. Had it for years and it’s still looking and working great! They are beginning to introduce more eco friendly products which is great as well

The only reason this isn’t a 5/5 is because I can’t justify paying the price to replace every trash can in my home with a simplehuman bin. I had a large kitchen garbage can with the pedals and it worked wonderfully for 2 years even after our dog decided to give the corner a chew. We left it behind when moving, and I still miss it 😢

Great products, but its a shame the prices arent lower. Everything works very smoothly, their automatic garbage cans close at the perfect time, and its just simply aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Okay, I was definitely hesitate to purchase something like an expensive trash bin because it's just a trash bin, right? Also, why would I possibly pay extra for proper-sized trash bags if I just can buy them cheaper and in bulk? I eventually decided to purchase both a small waste bin (for the bathroom) and a larger trash/recycling bin for the kitchen and... I get it now. Simple Human products look good, work well, are easy to clean, and don't *need* the Simple Human bags (but wow are things just... simpler with them). I love everything I have from them and always check out what other items they have available.

I love simplehuman products. Their designs are clean-lined and minimalistic while keeping function and durability in mind. I have several trashcans that lasted 5+ years now and would like to eventually get their electric soap dispensers. The trash can's don't slide around when you step on the pedal and keeps any odors in.
