I like this hair oil because it doesn’t look greasy unless you use too much but otherwise it looks pretty nice. And it adds a little bit of body. I would recommend this product for the most part.

I first started using this line of hair products back in 2013 and initially was introduced to the repair serum while working at an upscale salon. At the time my hair was highlighted and needed some tlc. Shu umera was amazing for this. My favorite line by them remains the recovery shampoo and conditioner set. The color products don't seem to help too much.

I really wanted to love these. After hearing so many glowing reviews about Shu Uemura’s Absolue Essence Oil and Ultimate Reset Mask, I decided to splurge—frizz has been my hair's lifelong enemy, and I was ready to invest in a solution that finally worked. Unfortunately, these just didn’t deliver. The scent is luxe without being overpowering. Application feels like a spa experience (as expected for the price), so I had high hopes. But when it came down to results? Meh. My hair felt softer, sure—but the frizz? Still very much alive and well, even on a mildly humid day. I kept trying, thinking maybe I needed to give it more time or chage how I used it, but after several tries… nope. No real difference. For the $$$$ price tag, I expected smoother, sleeker hair. Instead, I got a fancy-smelling mask in plastic packaging and a lovely aromatic oil that didn’t do much for the actual problem. Save your money. And please let me know if you have any recos for frizz!

Their products are not cheap but the price is worth the results! I have bleached hair and their oil in cream hair conditioner is LIFE! I also started using their Kaze Wave hair mousse and my hair frizz has really been tamed!

It's pricey and I was sceptical but now wish I tried sooner. A little product goes a long way and my hair feels exceptionally nourished and shiny. I can not wait for long-term results.
