Seed earns polarized reviews: many report meaningful improvements in regularity, reduced bloating, and even clearer skin, while a sizable group sees no benefit—or experiences nausea, bloating, or stomach pain, especially when taken on an empty stomach. Reviews also praise Seed’s science-forward education, chic reusable glass jars, and compostable refills, but flag issues like required subscriptions, breakable glass travel vials, and accusations of greenwashing or poor account management.

I wish I didn't love it so much because its so expensive but it really makes a difference in my day-to-day live and feel so much better. The customer service was also lovely when my package was lost!
Changed my stomach. I ultimately had to cancel because it was just too expensive when other probiotics do the same thing.
The branding is great and I love how sustainable it is but this made me SICK. So sick I had to call out of work! I had a migraine and intense brain fog that only lifted when I stopped taking it. I eat a vegan diet so maybe thats why it didn't work for my guts.

I just don't think this is for everyone!
I am a huge fan of seed. Their supplements are top-notch. I have done so much research and they are top of the list. I can really tell a difference between when I use them and when I don't.
I’ve been using Seed for about 6 months now and have noticed a big difference in the way my body digests food. I’ve also experienced less bloating throughout the day.
I am obsessed with Seed. I’m fact - I am constantly convincing my friends and family that they need it as well. This product has helped my gut issues and improved my skin (which probably is because it helped my gut). It also improved my regularity which has been amazing. But I think one of my favorite things about seed is their packaging! The first month that you receive the vitamins they arrive in a beautiful glass jar and going forward you just receive small refill packets that you can recycle. I am truly obsessed with this company and will be a user for life.

Nothing! Change nothing!
It’s always hard to tell if supplements actually work, but their research and educational content are impressive and thorough, and their brand and packaging experience are world class. Who knew gut health supplements would be something you’d feel comfortable showing off in your bathroom rather than needing it hide them in your medicine cabinet.

After a lot of hype and reading of online reviews I gave in and purchased Seed. The packaging is sleek but that's about all I can say I enjoyed from this product. I don't fully believe they're transparent with sourcing of product or perhaps they aren't fully "clean" or third party tested. I use Thorne now for these reasons. I was hoping to find something good with Seed especially after all the advertising promises but it gave me horrible rashes. I'm sorry I cannot recommend. Buyer beware here and run this by your healthcare provider.

I found that after time it did not work as well, so i switched to another product for awhile. Also this is a really expensive probiotic.
I've used Seed for over a year & I feel it has improved my health. I love the large refillable jar and the smaller capsule that is great for travelling.

Worked fine, but the price point was too high for something that wasn't "life changing" for me. I have digestive issues at baseline with PCOS, and didn't see a big difference between this and other probiotics off the shelf. I did like the sustainability model with the packaging. The travel tube was basically useless and inconvenient.

Couldn’t really tell a difference in my gut health after 2 months, but not any worse than any other supplement.

I tried Seed probiotic after seeing all of the brand's marketing. I'm a college student and had been having sudden digestive issues in the recent past. I was treated for SIBO with an antibiotic and soon after became gluten intolerant. I wanted to try Seed to see if this could resolve any lingering digestive issues that I was having. Per the brand's suggestion, I started by taking one pill for a few days and then increasing to the full dose of two. I really didn't notice any significant digestive upset in these first few days. However, after two weeks I began to have intense nausea and anxiety. I thought that this was perhaps just my generalized anxiety flaring up before going back to school after winter break, but it was much worse than usual. The thought of eating made me sick and gaggy and I had the most intense feeling of fear and dread all the time. I was also extremely bloated after eating, but attributed this to an accidental glutening. However, after getting back to school, these symptoms did not go away. My stomach began to make the loudest noises I've ever heard after eating anything and it became disruptive to my daily life. I finally decided that all these symptoms might be the probiotic and stopped taking it about two weeks ago. I hadn't even taken all of the pills in my first jar yet but I was feeling so awful I was desperate. My nausea and anxiety dissipated within a few days and the intense bloating and stomach noises have finally stopped after 2ish weeks. I have taken probiotics before and never had such an adverse reaction. I suppose the strains in Seed just didn't agree with my microbiome. I wanted to share my experience in case anyone else had the same symptoms and was feeling crazy like me! It's a shame because I love how eco-friendly this brand is but the product just did not agree with me.
I would give Seed probiotics six starts if I could. They’re a regular part of my daily routine and have made such a positive difference in my gut health.
Great packaging and marketing, and I like the sustainable packaging subscription model. Not sure if they would have done anything for me, I had to stop taking them after 3 weeks because of an overgrowth of good lactobacillus. I was surprised that the website didn't address women's vaginal health at all, since that is the main reason I take probiotics. Mainly targeted at digestion and skin. Edit: Just wanted to add that they finally came out with a vaginal probiotic finally, which I haven't tried, but seems interesting!
GREAT product. The science behind it is amazing. Just by scrolling through their website you can learn a lot. I do not like how it's on pill format though.
Never had a probiotic where I could visibly see results like I have with Seed. Over the first few days bloating was down, general intestinal feeling was better, and I just felt lighter? Overall love the product and have continued to buy again and again!
Keeps me regular. Price tag a bit expensive
I love Seed! I like that you can see the studies done for their products on their website. It’s also great that you get a travel case so you can easily take it with you while traveling. The subscription is super nice so I don’t have to worry about ordering as I’m running low. I feel like it has helped and I always recommend to people if they are looking for a probiotic!
