Reviews mention

  • Distinctive asian-inspired flavors
  • Natural fruit-forward taste
  • Clean low-sugar formulation
  • Versatile cocktail mixer
  • Inconsistent flavor intensity
  • Occasionally overly tart profile
  • Variable carbonation balance
  • Polarizing pomelo and mango

Sanzo earns positive reviews for refreshing, Asian-inspired sparkling waters that taste clean and often true to fruit—standouts include Lychee, Calamansi, and Yuzu—so yes, the brand works as a flavorful, low-sugar alternative. Reviews also flag inconsistencies: several flavors read muted or overly tart/sour, carbonation can feel either too soft or too aggressive, and pomelo/mango divide opinion, making the lineup hit-or-miss for some.

  • I tried Mango water. It’s very taste, balanced and very good. But it too sweet for me.

Received a free product from Sanzo
  • I was able to try the lychee flavor. While it is a good alternative to alcohol and soda, it lacks flavor. It has a decent taste but not much flavor. Also seems expensive.

  • I bought the sampler that has all four flavors. They're somewhat pricey for sparkling water, but they're mostly very tasty. The lychee flavor is the best, in my opinion, and one of my favorite flavors across all the many brands I drink. Mango and yuzu are both just a touch too tangy for my taste, but they're a nice break from more bland sparkling waters. The calamansi is a bit more intense than I'd prefer; I do like the flavor of calamansi in general, but I'm not a big fan of lime sparkling waters, and the calamansi is a particularly intense lime-like flavor.

    Works for Sanzo
  • Finally a new and exciting sparkling water that differentiates itself from all the other competitors. I’ve tried all the flavors and I love them all but I especially enjoy Lychee and calamansi. A little expensive though so not always buying them as frequently as I would want.

  • The lychee drink was so delicious, perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. I love that this brand offers unique drink flavors.

  • The lychee flavor is INCREDIBLE. Downside is that these are more expensive but we love buying these as a treat. Nothing compares.

  • Love the packaging and taste of the product. My favorite is the lychee, which accurately captures the flavor of the fruit while maintaining the lightness of a seltzer.

  • Love the company's mission and the sparkling waters are super tasty too. I love seeing some of my favorite childhood flavors like lychee represented on the mainstream grocery store shelves.

Wish there was some juice in this!

  • Sanzo will go far. One of the best sparkling waters on the market, with unique flavors. Can't get enough of that calamansi. Frequently pick one up as a treat at a few casual restaurants in my area that stock it. No notes.

  • I love what they're trying to bring and the packaging is so cute. Love the Mango flavor!! Wish this was available at more places

It's quite expensive for sparkling water

  • Sanzo has such great flavors! I love them as a standalone bevvy—but they're also perfect for making quick mixed drinks or mocktails.

  • I really love these seltzers! There are so many on the market right now so I feel like its genuinely hard to make a notable one? But these sort of align more with Spindrift instead of Lacroix in terms of amount of flavors, and the flavors they do have are unique! I usually drink them alone but they're also super tasty in cocktails. My favorite is Lychee!

I'd love more flavors! So far there are only 4 and I feel like whatever new ones they'd come up with would be just as tasty.

  • Tried their mango drink, I found it tasty but I don't know that I liked it enough to try again.

  • I like Sanzo and their brand of putting asian flavors into sparkling water. When I first heard about them, I bought the 12-can sampler pack because I thought this was so innovative and new and I wanted to support my community. The flavors were a little flat, like a whisper of mango or lychee. I did not think they were really special or anything, the only flavor that I would get again is their calamansi flavor as calamansi is a lemon/lime type of flavor. Mango fell flat and did not taste like mango, lychee tasted odd to me, yuzu wasn't that bad either. But, for the price of $2-3/can, I can overlook the cute design and get a can of $1 seltzer in a flavor that I know I will like. Little disappointing, but I do not know what I was expecting in a sparkling water.

  • Flavors are yummy. Great fizziness. My favorite is the Lychee one.

More of a difference in flavor between the calamansi and the yuzu with ginger

  • Huge fan of what they are doing in terms of Asian-American awareness and the dope collabs they have done with disney and more. Flavors are super unique and branding is on point! Love it so much. Calamansi is my favorite. Also love how low sugar they are. Also love the founder and what he stands for. Love how you can get these at panda express too

I think mango and yuzu ginger need a lot of work, those were not it at all. Also, perhaps less carbonation? When I drink it, its way too overpowering and I can't really taste the awesome flavors. I have to let it sit for while before I can truly enjoy it. Oh yea, more flavors asap!!!!

  • The fact that they had asian fruit flavors definitely piqued my interest. I was so excited to try them, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The flavors were muted and had an odd after taste. It’s alright, but not something I’d choose first over other drinks.

  • Different. Strong flavor profile.

Would love it to be priced slightly less.

  • Love to support an minority-owned business but all in all the flavors are a bit muted (for a soda lover like myself) and the prices are a bit high. Great to use as a mixer for home soda / smoothie / cocktails.
