Rothy's shoes are praised for their comfort, stylish design, and sustainability. They have the added advantage of being machine washable. However, some customers found them to be uncomfortable due to the thin soles and high price point. The brand's sizing, particularly for the pointed flats, was also mentioned as a problem.

I wanted to love these. Shoes made from recycled plastic? I bought the rounded toe and the point. The sides were great, never chaffing or rubbing. The part on the ankle was sturdy but soft, no blister. They really are machine washable and come out looking new. But, in the rounded and pointed toe - the right size (they run a tad small), there is zero give in the toe. I thought continued wear would stretch them a bit, but it never did. My toenails actually ached at the end of the day.

I have 4 pairs of the point, 2 pairs of the sneakers, and a pair of the drivers. I love all of them. They're super comfortable (once you get the right size), and I love their mission. I will say I've been a little bummed with how quickly their soles tend to wear down. I've had mine for a few years, and some of them are nearly worn through on the bottom. I also don't think they can be resoled because of the way they're made. Because of their price point, I usually wait for them to go on sale, or I ask for them as gifts. I've also given them as gifts to friends and family members, and everyone loves them. I've also had an issue with not ordering the right size a couple of times, and their customer support has been really great. They use Happy Returns too, so it's really easy to return them if you need to!

Love their concept and their commitment to creating products from recycled plastic. I ordered a pair of their shoes. It looks great for the office, but I have wide feet and they start to hurt after some time. Also, it's advertised as washable but I felt like I had to wash them after a couple of wears to make sure it didn't smell bad.

Light weight, comfortable to wear, beautiful design, sustainable materials, easy to clean.

Some sizing is off- runs small. These shoes are not very friendly to sweaty feet- they don't breathe very well.

Great shoes. They really are washable and come out looking brand new every time! I find them TTS.

I've owned two pairs of The Point over the years, the original and The Point II. I love and use them both. Pros: Sustainable, long-wearing and machine washable. Cons: The inserts get smelly fast, so you have to wash regularly. They are not cushioned at all, so they're not the most comfortable shoes. I size up a half size and that helps. I have worn my Rothy's for probably 5x as long as similar leather flats and don't have to deal with scuffing or going to the cobbler and I get the same look. Great for work or play.

Love the slip on sneakers the most but also have the point, the loafer, and the driving shoe. The only drawback is the cost.

I love my Rothys! As a teacher who spends a ton of time outside on the playground, my shoes get stinky and dirty....fast.. Being able to throw these in the wash is a game changer! The only negative is the lack of arch support; my feet can ache if I'm wearing these standing for long periods of time. These aren't exactly hiking shoes! But I love my Rothys, and have recommended them to lots of friends!

I've had my black pointed-toe ballet flats for over 4 years and they're still one of my favorite pairs of shoes for work. They're incredibly comfortable and look brand new as soon as I clean them in the washing machine. I've convinced so many of my friends to purchase a pair and am tempted to start a collection with all the color options they have. My feet tend to sweat in them more than other shoes, but it doesn't both me because I can clean them so easily.

Overall really love this brand, it's the first place I go when I look for dress shoes.

Price point makes it an occasional buy rather than a normal buy.

So overpriced, but I do love my sesame driving loafers. They are surprisingly comfy and I wear them often. I do worry about the durability of this loafer style given the thinness of the sole...but only time will tell. I also truly don't think they're worth the money -- that being said they can definitely become a wardrobe staple for those who aren't price sensitive. My Rothy's loafers are unique, stylish, versatile, and comfy!

Should offer options for wide feet. I have wide feet and you can see the outline of the inside edge of my feet through my loafers. I don't like how loud and prominent the branding is on some of their styles -- the blue stripe on the back of their classic styles are unattractive to me. I get the need for branding, but perhaps there are more tasteful ways to do so.

I went to the Rothy's store because I've heard mixed reviews on sizing. I ended up with the Loafer style, the popular Point style felt like they were going to slip off. I'm very happy with my Loafers and wear them for everyday commuting.

Wasn’t too impressed with these for the price point. Support wasn’t what I was looking for — definitely a fun looking shoe but not one I kept because I couldn’t wear it for long periods of time.

I cannot say enough great things about my rothy's. I bought a pair of their men's sneakers and they have become the only shoes I wear. I've always shied away from lighter colored sneakers because they get dirty and are a pain to maintain. However, the ability to throw these in the washer and have them come out fresh each time has been incredible. I also love their sustainability story and the style is really good.

Would love to see more men's styles from them.

I can't believe that I put off trying these for so long. I bought a pair of the round-toed flats (camel-colored) and I am so glad I did. They are stretchy and comfortable. The fabric is easy to clean and take along on any trip.

I wish there was a bit more arch support.

Absolutely love the pointed flat. I have 2 pairs. They have changed the fit a little to where they are bit more flexible so I like them even more.

They could lower the price point $20 and still have good profit margins and probably sell even more. I only buy them when I have a coupon.

Rothy’s! These shoes are so comfortable- you just slip em on & go! I really love the points, the loafers & the driver’s! They are perfect for work or throwing on any day of the week! I have over 25 pairs! My only complaint is- they’re pricy - but the fact that their machine washable - makes them so worth it! All my pairs still look brand new! I have a few of the flats & sneakers too! But I tend to wear the points, loafers & drivers the most! Some are really hard to find- such as my cornflower blue points and the striped merino wool points! Dragonfruit is one of my favorite colors! Also they stand by their products- 100%, I had a pair I wore once & the color ran everywhere- I own 25+ pairs and that’s never happened before so I knew it had to be a defect! They immediately told me to keep or donate the points and sent me a full refund or a gift card for the full price of the item! I also really love their handbags and wristlets & pouches- they’re lightweight and machine washable! I definitely recommend this for all moms/working moms!

I tried both the sneakers and men's loafers. The loafers are fantastic. They are comfortable to wear to and from the office as well as all day. I have received a ton of compliments on them and have been able to wear them with different styles of outfits and in a number of settings. The best part is that they are machine washable. Will definitely be buying more in other colors. The sneakers have a narrow fit and weren't comfortable even while sitting down in them.

The comfort of the sneakers could have been better. I knew after wearing them for 15-20 minutes indoors that I need to return them. I would recommend sizing up when looking at any Rothy products and see if you can find a store to try them on.

I bought these for my mom she hated them, said no support at all. So I took them and I’m not as old and I have to agree. They are comfortable but def not to be worn if walking any kind of distance at all. Car to desk where u sit all day. Around house as slippers. However if you need no support at all, then these are great. Extremely comfortable.

Got a pair a few years ago due to all the hype surrounding the brand -- and they were aggressively marketing at the time all over NYC as well. Fit was okay, but the shoes didn't last too long compared to other flats I've owned.
