Rothy’s definitely feel like an elevated everyday shoe. They have some weight to them and the fabric is a really nice, sturdy almost knit fabric. They run true to size, they are really comfortable. I do think socks are essential because the fabric on top isn’t soft, it’s a more hard knit and I bet that would rub really uncomfortably on the top of the foot and toes after a bit. I wouldn’t wear them to stomp around a city but would wear them to the airport and out on errands. I do think they look like an elevated shoe but also a slipper at the same time which throws me off sometimes. I don’t know if it’s because I got just black and a color or pattern would have been better but because of that I don’t reach for them as often even my Ugg tasmans but that’s also probably just a personal problem!

I really like my clogs! They’re the perfect shoe for wearing around the house. I’ve had them for a couple years, and they’ve held up well. They’re very comfortable, and I appreciate that they’re machine washable. I live in the south, and they are a bit warm for the summer but perfect for the colder months!

I can't say enough about these clogs! They are my number 1 go to whether it is to wear on the way to work, to a soccer game, grocery shopping or out with friends. The inside is so soft and is great with or without socks. A truly must have!

These were actually a recommended to me, and boy did they deliver! I am in my 40’s and cannot wear “cute” shoes anymore. These are comfy and cute! The cushioning is amazing! So comfortable for all day.

From my wife: I’ve been a fan of Rothy’s since the company first opened. My favorite part about the shoes (aside from being very cute) are that they are washable (and still look good after being washed!), made from recycled bottles, and overall, pretty comfortable. I have relatively low tolerance for uncomfortable shoes, and while I can wear many of these flats for hours, it would be hard for me to walk 20k steps without being a bit uncomfortable in these flats by the end of the day. Though I wouldn’t say that any have suffered heavy abuse, all of my pairs of Rothy’s still look good, even after 5+ years. The comfort of the shoes really varies depending on the pair (the Clogs feel like house slippers, I wouldn’t recommend wearing the slip on sneakers without socks, and the flats are more comfy than most). Overall, I am a fan, but I try to buy them when there is some type of sale available, as they’re relatively pricey.

The best thing about Rothy's is that every shoe I've purchased from them is comfy right out of the box. You never have to break them in. I've ordered two flats and one clog and I constantly finding myself grabbing them because they're so comfy. I tried the Birkenstock clog and Rothy's clog and I'll never go back — Rothy's is hands-down wayyy more comfortable. Plus, they're super flexible and easy to pack. Absolutely worth the higher price tag.

I got my first pair of Rothy’s (the casual clog) about a week ago and love them. I wanted a house shoe with plenty of support, and these fit the bill. They’re similar to the Birkenstock Boston, but much more comfortable - the Birkenstock sole gives me blisters if I don’t wear socks, and it has a weird ledge at the toe that also gives me blisters, which Rothy’s doesn’t have! I love the look and feel of the merino wool. Plus, they’re washable, so if I were to wear them out (I probably will, I love the look!) I can just throw them in the washing machine and they’re good to wear around my apartment again.
