Our story started when we came across a staggering statistic about the estimated number of trees cut down each day to make toilet paper - 27,000 - and knew something had to change.

At Reel, we reimagined what paper could be and set out to make sustainable, premium paper products without the use of virgin tree fibers or plastic packaging. We tirelessly tested our products to get them just right, so you don't have to sacrifice quality when choosing a sustainable paper alternative.

Our hope is that our community can help encourage small changes that make a big difference for our planet.

I like the fact that this tp is eco-friendly  and doesn’t have a lot of chemicals that would irritate the skin in delicate areas. Could be a little softer if possible but overall I like this product.

I decided to try this toilet paper since Thingtesting put out an offer for partial reimbursement. 
Overall, I like the product. The toilet paper is substantial and soft enough for my needs.

Pros:
-Good, thick paper texture - well constructed and gets the job done.
-Does not shed or shred, which is  a major must
-No plastic packaging

Cons:
-Wildly expensive. I know that it is not *as expensive* as other sustainable toilet paper, but 12 rolls of toilet paper was $16 (The box calls them 'mega' rolls, but they are the same size as a standard non-mega roll of toilet paper). If you are already used to paying a lot more for sustainable toilet paper, this may not be a shock, but for people trying to switch from regular tp to a sustainable brand, the same hurdle happens here as with others - it's just so much more money than regular tp.

I don't think I will be purchasing again, since the price point is still just too high for me. I very much want to use sustainable products and reduce my consumption of non-sustainable materials, but this solution doesn't work for me. I will stick to using less toilet paper and utilizing my bidet, which in the long-run seems to be a more economical answer for me right now.

Great toilet paper! For a toilet paper that is eco-friendly and biodegradable, the quality and durability of the toilet paper is not compromised at all. It doesn’t feel thin and like it can rip and break at any moment. The toilet paper is textured and can absorb a lot of liquids. I love their mission and how sustainability does not need to compromise quality.

Was impressed by Reel! The paper is soft but also sturdy and durable. I liked that there was no plastic in the packaging, however I don't know if I'll go out of my way to purchase Reel when I can buy bulk TP at Costco. 

I enjoyed the product. It was soft and durable. A little on the pricey side for the amount and not always readily available. Might buy it again. 

I have bought Reel tree free bamboo toilet paper a few times now and there are so many things that I really love about it.  Each roll is individually wrapped which makes it nice to store a few extra rolls in the powder room closet for easy access to a fresh roll when needed .  The squares are all very absorbent so you don’t need very many to get the job done and one roll seems to last a long enough time so I don’t need to change it out very often. I also know that there are no added dyes, inks,  or plastics which makes it great for even the most sensitive skin.  I feel like I’m doing a great thing for the environment as well since it’s made from a natural sustainable resource of 100% bamboo.

I love the idea of plastic free toilet paper for my home, something that I'm constantly using every single month. Such an easy way to reduce single use plastic into your house. Definitely going to continue with reel and be more mindful of where I can cut back on single use plastic for a home essential! 

It thick but not scratchy. It’s so soft. I love that it doesn’t rip when you wipe. The packaging is great as each roll is individually wrapped. 

I love this toilet paper. Knowing that it is made from a good place makes me feel so much better about using it. This paper is comfortable and gets the job done 

I was impressed with this toilet paper, it’s still soft &?works well plus I love the no plastic packaging. I will definitely buy it again 

Love its mission. Quality is prettty good as well. What ai like the most is its packaging, very stylish so I can place them in the toilet.

I have to say this toilet paper is  a solid choice. It's strong enough to avoid tearing, yet soft on the skin. The thickness is just right, not too skin or bulky. Overall, good quality and will recommend it to my friends definitely

I really try to do my part in helping the environment and do try to purchase  earth friendly products.  We all use toilet paper on a regular basis and using a product such as this could help make a difference!

Great product, a bit too much packaging. Just having it in the box is enough, dont need the paper around each roll. Good texture and is durable. Doesn’t rip easily or feel too thin. 

Very soft and using it makes me feel as I am making a difference since it is sourced differently then most toilet paper manufacturers. 

There's a lot of things that I love about Reel. One, I appreciate the half-sheet sizing because it definitely helps to cut down on waste. Sometimes I don't need a full-sized paper towel, but the mess also calls for tossing rather than washing. I also love that this product is made with 100% recycled paper, saving more of the trees we need and love. Adding to all of this is the fact that Reel is made without harsh chemicals, so I have no hesitation about bring it in to my household. Lots of good stuff about Reel and no complaints!

Thanks to this page I was able to buy and use this toilet paper for the first time. I didn't like it that much. It's a single-ply toilet paper, very simple. It's not that soft. The company's intention to find new alternatives for making toilet paper is good. But they should improve the quality of the paper.

For a sustainable product, this toilet paper was pretty effective! Comfortable and thick enough to use without structural integrity issues. 

I love this brand. I love the toilet paper quality. I like that the texture isn’t thin and wimpy. The price point is a little bit of a bummer, but otherwise I am down to snap it up at target. It’s just wish it was like three or four bucks cheaper.
