  • Convenient refill subscription
  • Weak cleaning vibration

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • Was gifted a Quip as a Christmas Present, and I am glad I didn't spend money on it. While it is a practical toothbrush and looks great, I have found classic Oral-B/Phillips lower end models to be better, with better options available.

    Feedback

Giving options for bristle types might be helpful - I am a hard bristle girl!

  • I've had my Quip for over four years now (...! I feel old now) and continue to love the brushing experience of it. The toothbrush feels "pretty" in my bathroom and getting a new replacement head and battery every 3 months frees up brain space that I don't have to spend thinking about when it's time to get a new toothbrush.

Managing the subscription is a huge pain in the butt and I sometimes find that the battery dies before my next replacement arrives.

  • I am really confused by this one. It is just a toothbrush that buzzes. I am not sure if I am supposed to hold it like an actual electric toothbrush or actually brush like a manual toothbrush. If the latter, it doesn't even have good enough bristles to be as effective as a normal toothbrush and the top is really flimsy and bendy so you can't actually brush with any kind of force... but it isn't actually an electric toothbrush with rotating bristles... It does look good and has a nice case to travel with.

  • The quip toothbrush was good to me! Love the portability of it and the strength was impressive for its small size. I don’t have to jeopardize my oral health while on the go. I can’t wait to see what quip does next.

  • Good quality, toothbrush and lashes a long time innovative take this essential a great product to buy the elevator your self care oral hygiene routine. It makes taking care and wash cleaning my teeth much easier and effective.

  • Quip delivers an excellent balance of style, convenience, and solid performance for those looking for a simple, effective electric toothbrush. With its minimalist design, gentle brushing experience, and emphasis on sustainability, Quip is a great choice for people who want to maintain their oral health without all the bells and whistles of more expensive options. Plus, the subscription service takes the guesswork out of when to replace your brush heads and toothpaste. If you're seeking an affordable, effective, and eco-friendly option, Quip is definitely worth considering.

  • It's ok, It has sleek stylish packaging, and it is nice that it's more ecofriendly with reusable packaging, but I find the floss so hard to tear, which is good for flossing but a pain to get it cut to use. Looks great, great in theory, practicality is ok.

  • So good. Quip is a battery-powered electric toothbrush that uses sonic vibrations to clean your teeth. The brush has a built-in 2-minute timer, and briefly pauses every 30 seconds to indicate that it's time to move to another quadrant of your mouth.

  • I have their water flosser. It is a good size for traveling with. For people that do not like regular flossing, like myself, this is a game changer. I love to use this to get all the food residual stuck between my teeth

  • I tried one of these toothbrushes to see what the hype was all about and I do not understand. Lol. It's just a toothbrush and it's kind of expensive. Nothing special to report home about but it's a toothbrush and it works.

  • The Quip toothbrush is a solid option for anyone looking for a sleek, travel-friendly toothbrush with a simple design. I love how slim and compact it is, and it’s easy to toss into a bag or take on the go. The timer feature is a nice touch, encouraging you to brush for the recommended two minutes. The design is minimalistic and looks great in my bathroom — very modern. That said, I wasn’t totally blown away by its performance. While it’s gentle and effective, I didn’t feel like it cleaned my teeth quite as thoroughly as other electric toothbrushes I’ve used. The vibrations are mild, which is great for sensitive teeth but not as powerful as I’d hoped for a deeper clean. Also, the brush head doesn’t last as long as I expected, and I found myself needing to replace it more often than I’d like. Overall, Quip is a good toothbrush for simplicity and portability, but it might not be the best choice if you’re after a really deep, powerful clean.

  • I use one of these toothbrushes every day. I feel like it really cleans my teeth.

  • I love how compact it is size-wise. The design is simple and not too bulky. My dental hygenist always loves my teeth. She said whatever I’m using is working, because my teeth barely needs any cleaning.

  • The combination of dentist-designed functionality and designer aesthetics makes Quip not only effective but also a pleasure to use. If you’re looking for an oral care routine that’s simple, eco-friendly, and built to last, Quip is the way to go.

  • I used to love quip, but ever since their recent update the quality is just terrible. It's like they reworked the system so that the regular brushes are incredibly tough and horrible. You pay extra for the soft ones and even those are kind of awful. Plus the vibration is shoddy and basically just good as a timer only. It's not worth the money anymore.

  • So I used to have the Oral-B electric tooth brush. But this is definitely more convenient. It also looks slick. I have also compared it to the Phillips one that is also fairly portable. I think I like quip better.

  • I bought these toothbrushes recently to take on me on a trip and they were great to travel with. They’re super easy and light to pack and our high-quality. These definitely got all the plaque off my teeth.

  • Quip has redefined my oral care routine with its sleek design and user-friendly features. The toothbrush’s slim profile and minimalist aesthetic make it a stylish addition to any bathroom. Its built-in two-minute timer with 30-second intervals ensures thorough brushing, promoting better dental hygiene.

  • I use Quip as my travel toothbrush. It works well for travel.

  • I absolutely loved these toothbrushes when they first came out, but now I have found it is very hard to change the head, and they are not easily found in stores. The size was perfect for traveling though.
