Reviews mention

  • Sleek, minimalist design
  • Compact, travel-friendly form
  • Timed, guided brushing pulses
  • Convenient refill subscription
  • Weak cleaning vibration
  • Fragile head connection
  • Hard-to-remove battery parts
  • Bristles wear or feel harsh

quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • The toothbrushes are good quality but if you are looking for a high quality electric toothbrush I wouldn’t recommend quip. The vibration from this toothbrush is minimal and does not make a difference.

  • I've been using quip for 5 years now! It's my favorite toothbrush and the subscription makes it really easy + simple. I like that it times your brush for you bec I'm super ADHD and forget how long I've been brushing haha

I like the subscription. I have the toothbrush and it's reliable, easy to travel with, and aesthetic

  • Like the idea if quip. The holder i unique and low profile. Battery lasts long. Did not care for the head of the toothbrush, as it would pop off while brushing my teeth if I pressed too hard. This didn’t happen though until I have the toothbrush for a couple months..

Not a bad product, but the connection where the head and the body car needs to be stronger.

  • Lots of compliments from my dentist ! Easy to use and love the ends are expensive but changing them every 3 months helps lessen illness through year !

  • Love my quip toothbrush! have had it for 5+ years and love the subscription model. I dont even have to think 'is it time for a new toothbrush?' because one will arrive in my mailbox right when its time. they have great customer service too!

  • had for a long time and made oral care/maintenance a breeze! really well thought out product! great subscription product.

  • although I loved the look and feel of this toothbrush, it did not consistently work and replacing it was rather expensive.

  • Got this free from my dentist and love it! It has a minimal look to it which I really like!

  • My dentist told me to try and electric toothbrush because I brush my teeth too hard, so I tried quip for a few months. I love that I would be sent new dental supplies monthly without having to think about it.

I would have continued to use Quip if I could have increased the frequency of my monthly auto-renewed shipments. One month was just too long to go for me without replacing the head of my quip toothbrush. You can still purchase them from the store whenever you want to, but that kind of defeats the convenience and purpose of their auto-shipments.

  • Unpopular opinion: quip is overrated/cheap. Here’s the thing—i fully support their mission towards sustainability, but their product quality is severely lacking. The brush itself simply “shakes” instead of really promoting deeper cleaning of the teeth and gums like an electric toothbrush is expected to do. The bristles are friable, and you will need that replacement. Also, the base dies out in a couple months, so you’re back to square one. I would suggest purchasing a slightly more expensive, yet higher quality, electric toothbrush.

  • I really liked the experience and using this product. I think the right level of electric stimulation is key, much like too much carbonation in seltzer, the balance is key. I was happy with the product but the brush head felt a bit small, but it could be I have a big mouth, well that's for sure true. No need for another monthly commitment, dentist is the one I have plans for, but not for the basics, makes it too cumbersome to have to deal with, takes the good experience and adds some discomfort.

like the product, hate the business model, makes me rethink the product when its too much of a job to stay with the subscriptions

  • Meh. They look cool and I like the idea but I hated having a subscription for a toothbrush. Also the vibration is super weak which is probably good for your teeth/gums but I never felt like my teeth were fully clean.

  • Non offrono solo spazzolini normali ma anche spazzolini elettrici ricaricabili. il design è molto moderno e semplice, super apprezzato!

  • Cool fun toothbrushes, great for families and roommates… those with no fear of oversharing. The inboxing was fun and the application is easy to use.

  • I have been happy with how well this toothbrush cleans my teeth and subsequently bought brushes for other members of my family. I have had some issues with the brushes staying on for the full two minutes and have had to replace a couple as a result. Having replacement brush heads mailed is a convenient way to keep them fresh.

I think shipping takes longer than expected but I like that they have started using more eco friendly packaging!

  • I used quip for about 4 years. It started out for connivence and the cost was not too much. The service was okay, wasn't something to write about. However as time past, the cost just does not seem to justify the mean. I only have the basic subscription with replacement brush head and battery delivery every 3 months for $5. Since I got rechargeable battery, that's really just for the head itself. Then they added $2 for shipping due to inflation of cost, which mean a brush head is now effectively $7. Since I didn't bundle anything other of the other product it simply made no financial sense. Guess basic subscriber like myself isn't their target audience.

Cost too much for basic service.

  • Huge letdown. The design is amazing, but everything else about the products is meh or downright bad. The toothbrush has such a weak vibration. I know some people like a less intense vibration, but at this point, it minus well be a manual toothbrush. In terms of function, it has absolutely nothing on Sonicare or an Oral-B electric toothbrush.

    Feedback

I wanted to love quip so baldy. The design and packaging are amazing!!! But the function product itself sucks. Thinking maybe the toothbrush just wasn't for me, I decided to try their refillable floss stick. SUCH a cool idea and so well designed but the floss itself is TERRIBLE. It's apparently "expanding" to help with the flossing effectiveness, but basically, it just rips apart and the skinny threads get stuck between your teeth. And then you have no floss to get it out with... do not recommend, such a letdown, very disappointing.

  • Very convenient with the subscription. I like that it's very travel friendly as well

The brush itself started to maintain frequently only after a year. It frequently stops vibrating even with full battery
