quip earns mixed reviews: it looks refined and travels well, but its brushing performance trails true electric rivals. Reviews praise quip’s sleek, lightweight design, mirror-mounted travel cover, timed 30‑second pulses, and hassle-free refill heads (often with batteries). Many criticize weak vibrations that act more as a timer than a cleaner, bristles that feel too stiff or wear quickly, fragile heads and motors, hard-to-remove parts, and occasional mold or gunk buildup—some dentists urge switching to oscillating or higher-powered brushes.

  • I have both the electric and non electric toothbrushes. I love the electric one for traveling!! It’s sleek, slim, and so easy to travel with. It had a sticky piece that you can mount on the mirror. And idk how but it’s reusable over and over again. The non electric one is nice as well however I prefer an electric toothbrush.

  • I stayed committed to the subscription for over a year, but never really found myself loving it. Or at least not loving it more than other electric toothbrush brands. Biggest headache was that the brush heads would always get stuck, very hard to remove.

  • Love my quip toothbrush & floss set! Love having a nice sleek, pretty toothbrush. The mirror mount is still holding up well after over a year of use. I love having the refillable floss as well.

  • I loved the idea of this toothbrush, but it fell below expectations. The part I liked the most was how easy it was to travel with. I abandoned it after about a year of use, it didn't feel like it was offering as good of a clean as other electric toothbrushes I've used in the past.

  • Quip tooth brushes are so nice. They are great for travel because they are compact especially when compared to other bulky electric tooth brushes. The design is so thoughtful but not at expense of the function!

  • I used Quip for about two years. While the design is sleek and it’s easy to travel with, I never felt like it did a great job doing the one thing I really need d it to do; clean my teeth. Furthermore, I had consistent issues with it and felt like I was constantly reaching out to customer service for help. Luckily, they are kind and clear in helping fix the issues and always willing to replace a brush that was un-fixable. But, ultimately, one day I started to wonder why I continued to replace a toothbrush I didn’t even like. I ditched the Quip, got a new electric toothbrush and my teeth immediately felt cleaner.

  • Great product if you can keep up with battery life and all. For myself this was my first electric toothbrush so just need to get used too.

  • Quip is an absolute game-changer. Not only does it make brushing your teeth a breeze, but it also looks sleek and stylish in your bathroom. The vibrating bristles give your teeth a thorough clean, leaving them feeling fresh and sparkling. The built-in timer ensures you brush for the recommended two minutes, so you can say goodbye to those rushed morning routines. Plus, the subscription service delivers new brush heads straight to your door, so you never have to worry about running out. Trust me, once you try quip, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

  • Their website and ordering process isn't the easiest but I love quip and it has changed my oral health game; since using it (many years ago, at this point—over 10 years) I have not had one cavity AND have purchased quip brushes for all of my loved ones (truly a fan girl). Having the 2-min timer in 30-sec increments guarantees I'm giving my mouth the full shebang of a cleaning twice a day.

  • I got the toothbrush one year as a gift and honestly? I loved it until I accidentally left it in a hotel room a couple years ago. So if you travel often, I don't think I'd recommend it. I haven't repurchased it simply because, while I like the idea of it, I don't really feel like it did much more than a regular old toothbrush. When I think of an electric toothbrush, I think of spinning and having it actually do some work-- this one just vibrates. I'm no dental expert, though, so maybe I'm in the wrong here. It was also a bit of a pain to get the replacement heads (this was before they sold these at target, I'm not sure if you can just pick them up there now). All in all, it was a decent gift to get, and I wouldn't be mad to get it again. It's nice. I've since switched to bamboo toothbrushes in the sustainability department though.

  • I want to try the toothbrushes but I already have a travel brush and Sonic home brush that I love. I did get the floss and I love the packaging. Great for travel.

  • toothpaste is great on its own but the toothbrushes eventually wear down and get stinky with some liquid leaching in into the battery area. mixed customer service, I received a cracked toothbrush and did not receive a replacement.

  • Love the design of this brand’s personal care products overall — my product review for the toothbrush specifically is about 2 or 3 of 5 stars. My issue was more about storage than anything. They include a magnetic or sticky piece along the back of the brush’s holder, which in theory is to attach to the mirror? Not too clear on the details, but someone I know has one of these toothbrushes and she mounted hers inside the magnetic holder. I was a bit concerned about the exposed brush bristles just hanging there on the mirror…instead of covering them in some way? The whole thing didn’t seem very sanitary to me. Regardless of my experience with the toothbrush, Quip has quite good, high quality products.

  • I love my toothbrush! It’s so sleek looking and I really feel like it’s made a difference. The battery lasts a really long time but I can’t quite figure out how to change the brush head. Someone let me know if you can get it off! I don’t want to break it haha

  • I love the compactness of the products from Quip. The quality is what you would expect for the price. It’s good but not great. It’s a great travel toothbrush because of the size. I love all the different color options they offer. I do love the glosser they have and how eco friendly they are.

  • I really thought this would replace my current electric toothbrush, it was still a solid brush i just felt a circular brush would be easier on the teeth.

  • The design is sleek and the toothbrush is great if you’re used to a fully analog toothbrush. If you’re coming from an electric toothbrush, this one will be significantly less powerful. The fact that the brush heads are on a subscription is great. Packaging is also cute. But ultimately it depends what you’re used to in a toothbrush.
