Primally Pure earns positive reviews for clean, thoughtfully sourced formulas that often excel at deodorizing and soothing sensitive, eczema‑prone skin, but mixed feedback questions efficacy of certain skincare (Antioxidant Balm, Coffee Face Mask) beyond moisturization. Reviewers praise decadent natural scents and non‑irritating textures, while noting overpowering essential oils, odd tastes in some lip balms, residue or melt issues, and limited visible results for firming or dryness.

I’ve just tried the Primally Pure Natural Dry Shampoo for the first time and I absolutely love it! I’ve been looking for a dry shampoo that’s more natural that still works really well. I’ll definitely be wanting more of this!

The only natural deodorant that works without irritation. I’ve been using this for years. Love charcoal, geranium, It’s worth every penny. I don’t plan to ever be without this product. It’s the best on the market for sure.

I’ve been using Primally Pure products for a while now and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. One of the biggest reasons I love this brand is that the products are completely compatible with my eczema prone skin and never cause irritation or flare ups. They work incredibly well and leave my skin feeling nourished, balanced, and healthy. The scents are absolutely amazing without being overpowering, and they make my daily routine feel like a little self care ritual. I also really appreciate that the ingredients are natural and thoughtfully sourced, which gives me peace of mind about what I’m putting on my skin. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the quality and performance and will definitely continue repurchasing.

After getting a rare (and wonderful) facial, I decided to try to reproduce that feeling at home and purchased Primally Pure's Coffee Face Mask and one from Oak Essentials. The Coffee Face Mask smells amazing. Like don't use it if you're hungry because you'll be tempted to eat it amazing. I apply it before showering and just keep it on throughout my shower, rinsing it off when I'm done. My skin does feel smooth after using it but I don't notice any other real results. I'll finish off this jar of it happily but will not repurchase.

I started noticing more laxity in my skin and wanted to find a cleaner option vs. resorting to harsher formulas. I knew about Primally Pure's commitment to ingredients and decided to try the Antioxidant Balm. The experience of using the product is wonderful; it smells amazing, the color is bright and even leaves a hint of that color on the skin (in a good way!). However, I can't say that I noticed any real improvements in skin laxity or even dryness. I had to switch to a different moisturizer in the winter months to help deal with dry skin and just never came back to this. I'll use it here and there mostly if I want the sensory experience, but not for results/efficacy.

I love primally pure deodorant. Does a great job at keeping my underarms odor at bay. I also love how clean this product is. Great for sensitive skin too. Only bad thing is the high price. Wish it was a bit more affordable.

Let's break each product down: 💚Body Butter: it smells amazinggggg, but doesn't really soak in - it just kinda just sits on top of my skin. I personally don't like this sensation (same reason I don't like body oils) so this just isn't for me. I do adore the scent but I hate feeling tacky and oily. 💚Lip Balm w/ SPF: I dig the Mint flavor, but I did notice weird white flecks (from the spf?) on my lips that needed rubbing in. It makes me wonder a bit how well the sun protection is working. I'm going to further test this on my upcoming beach trip, but right now I'm just side-eyeing this one. 💚Grapefruit Lip Balm: wtf is that taste?!? UGH. I almost wiped this off. It DID honestly truly make my lips feel super moisturized, but at what cost? Even after a handful of tries I just couldn't handle the repulsive taste (I'm guessing its the tallow?). 💚Deodorant: So my husband tested this one (I have an issue with natural deodorants) and here is his report: "Overall I think the deodorant is a solid option, but doesn't necessarily out-perform others I've tried. The coconut oil takes a swipe or so to warm up, but then goes on nicely. And this particular scent is strong, but refreshing." (For comparisons sake: he is currently using Humble brand deo). FINAL THOUGHTS:💚 I guess it depends. I'm gonna give this brand a maaaaaaaybe. (Neither a HECK YES or a DUDE NOOO): they honestly get a maybeeee grade from me. If you are hugely into beef tallow (I'm not, tbh) then it could be worth giving this brand a shot. I personally wish they were, idk, more community-oriented as a brand. They don't currently support things like 1% for the Planet, Bcorp, Leaping Bunny, or other partnerships I personally like to support in my shopping (when I can). Obviously not every brand I buy from gives back in these ways, but I do try to vote with my dollar whenever possible. (The owner of the company also leans a little too MAHA for my personal political values, interviewing folks like Paul Saladino).

This is the only deodorant brand I wear… and I live in Texas. I love that’s it’s non toxic but also keeping me fresh scented all day! My husband loves the everything balm for his eczema on his eyelids. It has cleared up 98% of it!

I mostly use it to relax tight neck and shoulder muscles — it feels amazing after a long day or screen time. The shape fits well in the hand, and the stone glides smoothly with facial oil. I don’t always use it for contouring, but for tension relief, it’s a staple in my routine.

Another non-toxic product I highly recommend. Not only does this smell delicious, a little bit goes a long way. It is an oil based serum but is not greasy - at all. It seems to melt into my skin. First ingredient is jojoba oil and the last is non-gmo vitamin e, with a ton of other beautiful oils in between. I use this after I apply my hyaluronic acid. I wait a few minutes to give this the opportunity to sink into my skin. First time users get 10% off $52 1519 reviews give it 5 stars They have a rewards program. I have been wanting to make the switch to non-toxic products and Primarily Pure was recommended to me and I’m so glad it was! I got their deodorant and it works so well! Smells great and I can rest assured that it’s non-toxic! I have some of their other products shipping to me that I’m excited to try out and review!

I love there deodorant!!! My favorite scent is the vanilla one, it’s genuinely smells so good, and light! I also like the mini version the best! I would say I also love there packaging. It’s very minimal and elite!
I used to use their deodorant but found that it would melt easily and was not that effective for me.
I have been using some Primally Pure products for a little over a year. I have their antioxidant balm and plumping serum. The Pro's: I think the company is cool, they are really intentional about their ingredients, and it's not common to see tallow as an ingredient in most skincare (but definitely has a lot of benefits). I enjoyed using the products, I did not have any major reactions or breakouts. The Con's: All that to say, I didn't see any major benefits with the products. Besides definitely keeping my skin well moisturized. The price is quite steep indeed, which has deterred me from trying more. The other thing I'd mention is that I really hate the smell of the antioxidant balm. The essential oils they use in that are overpowering. I prefer my products to not have a strong scent. I am most eager to try their masks next, as I think those will have a better impact on the skin overall.
I’ve only tried a few products from Primally Pure—their deodorant, lip balms (as gifts), and lip oil—but I can confidently say this brand has seriously impressed me. Their deodorant is hands-down my favorite clean deodorant I’ve ever used. I’ve tried others like Native, and they just don’t compare. Primally Pure’s formula doesn’t dry out weird or leave that chalky feeling. The only thing to note is that you do have to rub it in a bit with your fingers, but honestly, with clean ingredients, it makes sense—and I don’t mind that extra step. I use the vanilla and citrus scent, and it smells so good. I’ve tried other scents, but that one is definitely my favorite. It actually lasts all day, keeps me smelling fresh, and is made with nourishing ingredients like beef tallow. Plus, it’s made in California, which I love. I haven’t personally used their lip balms, but I’ve gifted them to friends and family—and every single person raved about them. So I trust that they’re amazing. As for the lip oil, I have used that, and it’s beautiful. It goes on sheer, gives a lovely shine, and feels incredibly hydrating without being sticky. It truly feels like a high-quality lip oil, and again, it’s made with clean, nutrient-rich ingredients. I’m very intentional about what I put on my skin, and I love knowing that Primally Pure products are made with ingredients that are actually good for your body. Everything I’ve tried gets a solid 5/5 from me.

Blue Tansy Deodorant is one of my favorites. It's the only non-toxic deodorant that has worked for me. The scent might not be everyones favorite but I like it. I can't wait to snag the other scents!

Was searching for a deodorant that was all natural but still worked… I have tried multiple natural brands but this one is amazing. The smell is so good and so far even with heavy sweating I don’t smell any BO Love the website and love that they are transparent with ingredients.

highly reccommend this non toxic beauty line. They are so transparent with the ingredients they use and really stand behind their products. I love everything that I have every tried!
