  • BEST men's moisturizer out there... first one with seal of acceptance by the National Eczema Foundation... active ingredients that WORK like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, squalene, ceramides, and more! It's just an overall super enjoyable experience & massive results. It's a lightweight gel cream that never makes me feel greasy. Especially great for post shaving, reduces any irritation or redness & calms acne!

Can't wait to see even more from this brand... I think they'd kill it with a gel cleanser or an active packed eye cream! Love seeing innovations that steer away from the classic men's skincare marketing with buzzword ingredients & actually use ingredients that work & benefit us!

  • A non-greasy, fast absorbing moisturiser that feels and smells rather nice when applying. I can't say I'm seeing a great deal of difference to my skin compared to previous products, but I do prefer the way this feels. There's some interesting sounding science on the website I haven't had time to research yet, plus the National Eczema Association's seal of acceptance. It's lighter than products I've tried from Aesop and L'Oreal—more in line with my previous summer go-to, the (now-defunct) Body Shop's green tea & lemon mattifying moisturizer. The packaging is great, the 35ml (1.2 oz) is perfect size for flights. On that note, I actually ordered the 70ml and received two bottles of the 35, not sure if that means they don't actually make a larger size. The pump action is nice and snappy—I end up needing 1.5-2 pumps most days so dosage could perhaps be a bit larger but that's a nitpick. It's rather pricey, which may be an impediment to long-term use.

  • Of the many men's skincare brands I've tested, Pretty Boy is the one I've liked the most so far. I'm a 40+ guy and when it comes to skincare, first and foremost, I'm looking for something that works, and with Pretty Boy, my skin looks and feels better. I haven't had any dry or flakey skin, I've had fewer breakouts, and I even got complimented on my skin looking good (which as an older guy, was really lovely). For me personally, the other things I'm looking for are an inoffensive smell (Pretty Boy is unscented) and the feel of the product (Pretty Boy is a gel that goes on easily, without leaving any greasy or shiny residue). I also really like that Pretty Boy is an all in one, which makes it easier for me to use reliably; one application in the morning and one before bed and I'm done. Overall, I really like this product and while I plan to continue testing other brands, I intend to keep a bottle of Pretty Boy in my top kit going forward.

What is PrettyBoy?

Pretty Boy makes a skincare line for men focused on treating dry skin, wrinkles, and dark spots.

In their own words

PrettyBoy inspires men to become healthier & more confident versions of themselves, starting with their skin. After years of dealing with skin concerns but never finding a product that provided the quality they needed, or a brand that reflected them as individuals, founders Ben Feys & Kevin Niehoff took matters into their own hands. PrettyBoy offers simple to implement, high-performing skincare for anyone leading an active lifestyle. Guys don't want long routines with multiple products or something that leaves their face feeling greasy after it's applied, so we developed Revival. This lightweight, gel-cream moisturizer revitalizes your skin & leaves your face feeling clean & refreshed immediately after use. It has 7 safe, dermatologist-preferred active ingredients in every bottle to efficiently target men's top concerns - dry skin, shaving irritation & beard itch, and signs of aging - without the need for unnecessary or time-consuming products like aftershaves or eye creams. PrettyBoy's obsession with quality earned them the right to say they are the 1st male-focused brand to be recognized with the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association. This means that Revival is suitable for the 10% of Americans who suffer from eczema and the 70% of Americans who identify as having sensitive skin. Revival is the 1-step skin recovery solution you didn't know you needed and, after purchasing, won't be able to live without. Meet the last new moisturizer you'll ever buy!
