Reviews mention

  • Engaging, charismatic instructors
  • Extensive, evolving class library
  • Sturdy, smooth ride hardware
  • Motivating, community-driven platform
  • Uncomfortable, rigid bike saddle
  • High, recurring membership fees
  • Occasional clunky software updates
  • Inconsistent hardware longevity

Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

  • I absolutely love my peloton! Pricey but for my worth the investment. They constantly have new fun and themed videos.

My stretching and warm up videos please!

  • I’ve owned both the peloton bike and the tread. Endless class options and machines are well built and aesthetically pleasing in the home.

    Feedback

Would love to be able to stream Netflix or Hulu while I use the treadmill. With the amount we pay in membership I think including streaming platforms would help compete with less expensive brands.

  • Love my bike, however, I’ve had many issues with different parts going out on my bike and various clicking noises because of it. The issues started happening only several months after purchasing. Have had several technicians out to the house to repair it but now that it’s out of warranty and clicking again I guess I’ll just have to live with it. Customer service is good it just sometimes takes a while for them to handle issues. The instructors are great and motivating and it makes up for the product being lower quality than you would expect for the price point.

Personally, I would like them to have more prenatal classes. When I was pregnant and wanting prenatal-specific workouts I found myself having to repeat the same 10 or so classes.

  • Peloton is well worth the money if you use it consistently. I appreciate that they are constantly coming out with new material and classes. Their barre, pilates, yoga, meditation and cycling classes are my go-tos.

  • My peloton bike makes working out fun and accessible from home. From the online workout classes to fun rides I get in good exercise while still enjoying it.

    Feedback

The seat of the bike could use more improvement to be more comfortable.

  • Have had my Peloton bike for years now and still love it. The Peloton subscription provides a variety of workouts that can be done not on the bike. Nothing beats a good workout on my Peloton!

    Feedback

Easier to adjust seat and handle bars.

  • Videos are awesome and I love how you can see everything live! I need more variety in my workouts, but love what this concept is all about!

  • After completely losing any motivation to workout in 2020, buying a Peloton in Dec 2021 has been the best thing to happen for my health. I love all the instructors and always feel 1 million times better after a ride. I love that you can do a quick 15 min ride or suffer for 45 min. I also am taking advantage of the other classes (stretching, strength) more than I thought. I am on my peloton everyday.

  • Peloton's digital classes and instructors are best-in-class. Whether or not you own a bike personally, have access to one through a gym, or don't have one at all, there's ways to get a lot out of Peloton's digital offering with the app content. I also love doing Peloton's 'tread bootcamp' workouts using the app on my phone on a regular (non-Peloton) treadmill

  • During the pandemic I too got a bike and joined the cult. The bike, the instructors, programs, it’s all amazing. It’s sucks you in, it’s fun, it’s addictive, and best of all it’s good for you.

There should be a better trade in program for upgrades. The prices are prohibitive to keep equipment up to date. Also produce more Hannah Frankson classes. She’s your best instructor. :)

  • Ive had a Peloton since 2018 and the improvements they've made in the last year are great. So many more classes and that touch people with different abilities. I do the classes when I travel so it's always with me!

    Feedback

Customer service isn't great. I've been re routed to a spam/ hack before where someone was asking for my credit card for a Walmart gift card. It was so strange. I called the 800 # twice and got sent there.

  • LOVE peloton- beyond the bike, I use the app daily. I utilize their outdoor runs, bodyweight strength classes, and bootcamps. All of the instructors are so personable and truly make you feel like you're apart of something bigger.

    MORE outdoor classes

  • The Peloton bike was the best purchase we made during the pandemic. It was a risk--I had never taken an indoor cycling class before the Peloton arrived. I can't imagine not having this amazing piece of equipment. I will never go to the gym again. I also love the variety of classes on the app--from strength training, to yoga, to meditation.

  • Best! So convenient, endless options to get any kind of workout in. Excellent community vibes and positivity. Well made equipment.

  • Review of the app - it has been fantastic for guided workouts and I often use it at the gym to guide me. Love the variety of the class options and the instructors are great. My friends and I choose workouts to do together from all around the country - a great community feel!

Wish app had some better saving/search options

  • OBSESSED WITH MY PELOTON. 10/10. worth the investment

    Feedback

the seat. it’s not big booty friendly, but you can find alternatives for it so it’s a minor thing in my opinion

  • I have the bike but I find myself using the other classes more! I love their running boot camps and yoga series. I travel a lot for work so it’s great to be able to pop on a class in a hotel gym and stay on top of my workout schedule!

  • I love my Peloton! When I am in a good headspace to work out, it is always there to offer me a variety of classes.
