Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

I have used both the bike and treadmill, I love how fun the classes make working out. You won't even notice that you worked out for 30min-1hr. I have been using both for about 6 months and do not plan on stopping anytime soon.
This is the most effective way to get a GREAT workout in. I enjoy taking 20-60 min classes with instructors that are motivating and pushing you through the entire class on video. The quickest way to reach your workout goals!
I have been using the Peloton app since April 2020, and bought the Bike in September 2021. The entire Peloton ecosystem has helped me be more consistent with working out than I’ve ever been in my life. The bike workouts are really hard, but I feel better afterwards than I ever have with running or other cardio. I always say I need someone telling me what to do in order to get a good workout, and that’s exactly what Peloton has given me, with instructors that are engaging, motivating, and never body shaming.

I wish the Rower was more affordable. I would absolutely buy one for $1000-1500 but can’t swing $4k
Really inclusive workouts that come in all shapes and sizes! Love using my Peloton.
I love my Peloton bike as well as the Peloton fitness app. I started doing body-weight Peloton exercises at the beginning of the pandemic and was so impressed by the variety of classes and engaging instructors. You really feel like part of a community, and grow to find your preferred instructors. I use the meditation classes to sleep every night; yoga from my living room; and finally sprung for the bike this summer. It really helps lower the barrier to working out, and I love how customizable it is (you can filter by difficulty, length, focus, etc).
Really love peloton overall! It can be difficult to get on board with the monthly membership on top of the price of the equipment but still worth it in the long run! Some of the best instructors you’ll find.

Having more options for payment plans.
Love peloton and the instructors- they are all so fun. I enjoy that you can use the app outside of the bike. It allows me to mix up my workouts in different settings even outside of home. Kind of expensive to maintain peloton and a gym membership though
Best investment I’ve ever made for my health. The rental option was a game changer! The class options are great. I love Ally Love the most and Robin Arzon. My husband and I have written down our preferred seat heights to easily share the bike between the two of us. I can’t recommend it enough if you aren’t a gym person or don’t have a gym nearby. The non-cycling classes are great too!

I wish there was an easier way to track the live classes or track when they will be available on-demand.
I've had my Peloton for 2 years and use it 3-4x per week. If you enjoy cycling you will LOVE the Peloton. I use it approximately 3-4 times per week and take other classes as well like strength training, pilates, and outdoor running. They also have some top notch instructors and a lot of variety. I did have an issue with my pedals a little over a year after my purchase but Peloton came out quickly to fix and did not charge me even though I was a few weeks outside of my warranty window.

It did take over a month for my peloton to arrive when I first purchased. Shipping problems were a challenge but I think that may have since been fixed.

While I do like the Peloton workouts - I find them to be a good challenge and I like the music variety, I don't think that if it wasn't a product offered by my apartment's gym, I would make the purchase myself. I am not someone who fully buys into one workout "environment" so it's a steep price for me to pay. I could see myself purchasing just the subscription to the app for on-demand classes, especially to have on hand while traveling.
I have been a pelotón owner from the first year they were in business. I have a bike and a tread. Can’t beat this company.

I wish they had more instructors.
A great workout, but I wish there wasn't such a high monthly fee.
White-glove installation was great. The bike itself works well, and there is a huge variety of content for any level.
I LOVE my peloton! Use it frequently - the convenience is unparalleled, and I love the variety of class formats
It’s great and was especially great during the pandemic. Wish the monthly subscription was less, but overall it’s a fantastic product and worth it if you use it.
LOVE the variety of classes, music, instructors, and styles. I feel like there's literally a class for every type of energy I'm bringing that particular day.

Would love if it was easier to somehow find my friends on the app
I absolutely love my peloton. The app is amazing. It has classes for any level from beginner to advanced. There is new classes daily. I love all the instructors.
Absolutely love my peloton! It makes home workouts so easy and fun, I love all the coaches positivity and also their sass. When I’m feeling like I can’t finish or eat to quit it literally fells and sounds like they are seeking directly to me and encouraging me right in my living room.

I really can’t think of much to do better as my only complaint in the beginning was that the monitor did not swivel so I could do floor workouts and yoga from the front of the bike. I have the older model bike that did not swivel, but peloton has since come out with a new model bike and a replacement monitor to do just this. If you are considering don’t hesitate and get the newer model it make floor workouts so much easier and is very convenient as far as workout space goes.
I tried out the peloton bike at the gym and it reminded me of a spin class but it was hard to hear the instructor on the screen, I enjoy spin class much more and do not recommend the Peloton bike for people that prefer to be in an in person setting
Like most people, I hopped on the Peloton trend during Covid and hit it hard for the first year I had the bike. The cycling classes are amazing, motivating and really make at home workouts effective.

Aside from the cycling workouts and a few strength workouts, most of the other offerings aren’t super impactful. I find the Pilates, barre and many strength classes super easy, which is disappointing when you’re trying to squeeze in a quick sweat and they don’t challenge you!
