Peloton wins praise in reviews for motivating, studio-caliber classes, engaging instructors (Cody Rigsby, Alex Toussaint, Robin Arzón), seamless app breadth, and sturdy, smooth hardware that makes at‑home workouts convenient and habit‑forming; however, recurring membership costs are widely criticized, the bike seat comfort and occasional hardware maintenance issues recur, and some find the experience overrated or less effective than live classes. Overall, Peloton is good if you’ll use it consistently and value variety and community, but buyers should weigh subscription demands and ergonomics.

Amazing if you know you love to ride all the time, and prefer the convenience of being at home. Great instructors, and awesome way to track progress. So many instructors that can fit your desired ride style. Great music too. I also really like the Lane Break rides which is like guitar hero on a bike. Also really enjoy their stretching and strength exercises. This may not be for you if you are the type of person that benefits from being next to other people and having that whole group energy to compel you to ride harder. Instead of trying to sell more hardware I would like to see the app innovate better on engagement - something more similar to Duolingo that rewards you for logging in each day, and motivates you to keep streaks alive.
Peloton changed my relationship with fitness. I hated exercising my entire life and would always try new things in an attempt to become more fit but nothing ever stuck until I got my Peloton bike. Eventually I acquired the Tread and Row as well because I'm such a huge fan and supporter of the brand. The instructors, music and community really make Peloton stand out among all the home fitness options and even gym options.
I have the bike and the membership and it truly is the perfect product to support any kind of athlete. I love that even a 20-minute ride or 15-minute core class can give you that rush of post work out endorphins. It's a premium product but if you're looking to bolster your workout routine it's a great addition.
I have a peloton bike and before purchasing was leary of what seemed like a very obsessive culture but I must say I love it. The classes are fun, there is incredible variety and it just makes working out so much easier and accessible.

I've had my peloton since the beginning of lockdown. Peloton is incredible—I'm absolutely in love with their classes! The variety and quality are unmatched. The only downsides are that adjusting for shorter people can be a bit tricky, and the seat takes time to get used to. But once you find the right settings and adapt, it's a game-changer.
Not a fan of the subscription service but the bike has held up pretty well and does well for keeping me in shape.

So grateful to have had this bike during the pandemic-era. Quality product.
Classes are fun and motivating. The free rides offer plenty of neat places to 'travel'

The seat is pretty uncomfortable
Kinda just......never use mine. Monthly sub is ridiculous. Classes are fun but wish they had some easier options to ease you into it (easy 10 min rides).
duh! I love my peloton and in addition to doing all the bike classes, I just started boxing. Great work out! I also use the 5 min stretch even when I do an outdoor ride or another class. Not sure which bikes got recalled but mine works great!
I love my peloton! I use less frequently than I use to, but I bought it during Covid and that really came in handy. If I don’t have time to run to the gym, I like to have the option of just jumping on the bike.
I always bristle irrationally when people tell me I will looooove something and, thus, avoided Peloton for the longest time. We got one on a trial basis several months ago and I haven’t gone more than a few days without using it. It’s incredibly convenient, the variety in coaches and workouts is awesome, and the customer service exceeded expectations. This one is actually living up to the hype, I’m happy to report.

The seat is predictably painful — don’t follow the advice that you’ll “get used to it”… I tried and it simply never happened. Instead get a big squishy seat cover and pedal your heart out. Your nethers will be forever grateful:)
I love it.. Peloton has definitely made me get in better shape as they successfully gamified the indoor bike trainer.
I finally gave in a few months ago and took the plunge

I absolutely love the peloton! Unfortunately, I’ve had to take a couple weeks of a break due to some severe family issues. But literally I feel terrible that I can’t use it during this time. It is such a reliable product and when you are lacking motivation, which is an issue I became accustomed to after Covid, this is exactly what you need. After trying some instructors out and certain aspects of the program, it’s very easy to fall in love with the product and idea behind it. I can’t wait to get back on and enjoy all the options they give. Yes, it is not cheap. But in this case you do get what you pay for.
Overall the bike was good, but I've found the ongoing maintenance to not be as good of quality as other spin bikes. Love the content and the instructors!
Feedback
I'd recommend paying for the digital subscription and buying a high quality spink bike without the frills.
The bike is a little more upright than SoulCycle but I absolutely LOVE Olivia Amato’s EDM rides
Feedback
Good for platform with lots of different types of workouts and good vibes instructors
When we got our Peloton in early Covid, I didn’t expect to still be riding so regularly. I love the convenience of being able to work out at home, but the content and instructors make the membership worth it.

Customer service can be tough at times.

I have had the bike + for almost 3 years. It is a very well made spin bike. I love the content on Peloton. There are great personalities and great classes/programs to help you reach your fitness goals.
Feedback
I wish the strength workouts were actually geared towards strength instead of cardio with weights.
Recently picked up the Peloton bike three months ago. It's very convenient to have instructor led courses at home and the classes are motivating to squeeze more effort than you might push yourself riding without instruction. Machine is very solid and well built. The delivery and setup was seamless with a company that comes out and handles everything included in the price of the bike.
Feedback
For a high-end piece of equipment I was surprised that the Peloton logo was just a cheap sticker easily peeled off with a finger. The rest of the bike was high quality. The display has a very low amount of memory, it makes me question long term updates and whether or not my existing machine will be able to support any serious updates to the device. Make sure to check your health insurance plan because they will often provide discounts for the bike or monthly subscription.

I have had too many issues with customer service at Peloton and just feel like everything is about making money to them. Most recently I chatted online to see if the customer service rep could provide me with the type of screw I needed so that I could reinstall my screen to my bike. It had been in storage for several months and the screws got lost. I assumed I could just go to my hardware store and pick them up. When I chatted, I was told that I would need to purchase the two screws for $25. I thought that was pretty silly, to pay $25 when I was certain my hardware store had them for a few bucks. I asked again what size screw I should get. The agent proceeded to tell me that they needed to look into that and after a few mins replied that they don't have that information. This is very hard to believe. On top of the huge bike purchase, you are then required to pay $44 a month for the app. I get this is the standard biz model for this type of thing so I'm mostly frustrated with myself given I could have bought an ipad, a cheap bike, and then paid $12/month for the app. ALL this to say: the bike is fine (hence the 2 stars) but I personally regret my purchase which is on me. Since I have it though and pay $44/month for the class access, I do wish they had more programs that were advance strength training with cardio bursts and light weights a la Sculpt Society.
