Paula’s Choice earns largely positive reviews for delivering effective, science‑driven skincare—especially the Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, which visibly clears pores, smooths texture, reduces breakouts, and suits many sensitive skins. Reviews also flag weaknesses: some formulas feel too strong or irritating, results can be inconsistent, textures can be sticky or oily, packaging is fussy or leaks, and the aesthetic reads dated—making the brand powerful but not universally effortless.

I tried the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant and honestly, it really works. Within a couple of weeks I noticed my pores looking clearer and my breakouts calming down, which was huge for me. It definitely lived up to the hype in terms of helping with acne. The only downside for me was the texture, it felt a little too sticky on my skin, especially if I wanted to layer other products afterward. But overall, if you’re looking for something that actually makes a difference with clogged pores and acne, I’d still recommend giving it a try.

I have used Paula’s Choice CLEAR line for several years, specifically the Daily Skin Clearing Treatment. I use it on pimples that pop up. It works and won’t dry out my skin. It is also easy to carry on wherever you go. Pricing seems reasonable.

Some people recommended this set to me and I think it went well. I only use it on occasions now and not as a trio, only what I need when needed. I don't really do much for skin care, but I didn't see anything bad happen to my skin when it did use it often. I think it's worth it to try more regularly.

Bought the mini version of the 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant to try out first because I have pretty sensitive skin. I've been using it in my nighttime skincare routine for the past two weeks and really like it.

I think I do like this peptide booster. I think I would also like to buy a full size to determine if it is a booster for my skin but it does feel very nice. And apparently it has multiple peptides for multiple purposes.

I’m pretty picky with my skincare and feel like most things I try don’t make a big difference or drastically improve my skin. Which is why I’m impressed with the 2% BHA liquid exfoliant! It actually made a difference and improved my skin texture. I have pretty good skin to begin with and rarely break out, but still had some texture issues on my cheeks and small bumps. After using the exfoliant a few times a week, I truly noticed a softness and smoothness with my skin tone! I’ve cut back on using this and will put it on once a week for maintenance but yeah, I like this a lot!

Although it is a bit expensive, I really love Paula’s choice! Some of their products haven’t worked for me, like the BHA or azelaic, but I love their cleansers and their toners. Super gentle but super effective

Overall strong formulas without fragrances which is good for my sensitive skin. I do feel like as they have gotten more and more popular, the brand has started to pump our products very quickly and some are redundant or not as high of quality.

Can't speak to all of the products but I decided to invest in a high quality Vitamin C serum and I love it! The smell is inoffensive and it's not overly-orange so it blends into my skin well. Packaging is simple and nice and the price isn't too bad compared to other nice Vitamin Cs on the market. Would repurchase!

2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant - I'd say this is definitely a solid BHA. I remember seeing more drastic results when I first purchased it, but now I feel neutral in terms of how it affects my skin. Would recommend it to anyone first starting out with BHAs + exfoliants! Niacinamide 20% Treatment - Didn't feel like this really did anything for me! Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser - Love this one and it's lasted me a LONG time (refer to photo)! I use it as my default shower face cleanser and a little goes a long way. I never feel like my face is dry or flaky afterward.

I used their cleanser and salicylic acid serum and both worked great on my skin. After using the salicylic serum my skin did dry out a little bit so I would definitely recommend double moisturizer or using a heavy moisturizer. Other than that I didn’t experience any problems! Little pricey but would definitely recommend.

Nice booster! I love it has collagen in it making my face look smooth and tighter. It's also helps plump and firm my skin with 6 peptides, hyaluronic acid and amino acid. While fighting anti-aging lines and wrinkles.

The Travel Size Paula's Choice BHA exfoliant caught my eye due to its positive reviews online. I snagged it on sale, intrigued by its potential benefits for my skin concerns. While it's too early to judge, I'll continue testing it to see if it lives up to the hype. Looking forward to seeing any potential changes with continued use.

I tried the exfoliant and it really did wonders for my skin. I will definitely be repurchasing soon. The mini size lasted me for about 2 months I believe

I have complicated experiences with this brand, but my TL;DR is that if a product works, it WERKS, and they are very fairly priced and safely packaged. My problem is that sometimes, their products are complete duds, or they cause actual harm. I'll give you one product I hate and one I love: Holy Grail: Omega+ Complex Cleansing Balm Amazing no-mess packaging is great for the shower because no water can get in. I also love that this doesn't burn my eyes when I use it to take off mascara and that it generally works well on stubborn makeup. Not only that, but it's at a fair price point. Product that almost destroyed me: 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant It is absolutely criminal that this product says you can use it once or twice a day. When I first got into skincare, I bought this product and used it once a day. My face turned red and I completely WRECKED my skin barrier. Everything I put on my skin burned and my face was red and itchy. After years of becoming a skincare expert, I realize that no one should be exfoliating more than 1-3x a week. The idea that you could work up to 2x a day with this product is insane.

This sunscreen feels like you have nothing on your skin; it's lightweight, and hydrating, and it does not leave a white cast!

Paula's choice Clear Extra Strength Kit really did the magic. I was suffering with bad acne since I was schooling for almost 15yrs. After so many dermatology prescriptions finally found Paula through my friend where she gave a high recommendation of Paula's choice. Hence, I used her Paula's all skin type face wash for just 2 days and it unbelievably vanished my acne. Since I saw magical results out of the trial I then searched for my own skin type face wash that'd directly treat my acne and came across this absolutely stunning, magical kit that treats oily skin types. Thank you Paula for giving me a brighter look and for the magical treatment you've given without any prescription :D To add, ever since I've seen the result I've been influencing about the product and Brand ofcourse where I also have made 2 more buyers so far for you, Paula!! Thank you again! 😊

My first time I’ve tried Paula Choice brand was an ultimate discovery. I’m glad my friend introduced it to me. The products were given to an influencer who passed it on to me. So far, this is the only product that works for me without having any issues on my skin like redness or feeling itchy. I just stop using it for now because, I’m look for products with no chemicals that aren’t safe for pregnancy.

Amazing products. I use the C15 super booster serum as well as the .3% retinol. Both have been amazing on my skin. And improved texture and brightness. The price point is fair too compared to other retinols and vitamin C products.
