OLAPLEX earns polarized reviews: it visibly strengthens and revives bleached or damaged hair—No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 6 Bond Smoother, No. 7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo are frequent standouts—yet many users report dryness, heaviness, or even increased shedding and brittleness if overused. The brand is praised for salon-clean scent, rich lather, and fast toning, but criticized for inconsistent results across hair types and small, hard-to-dispense bottles.

It is high quality and work well for sure and all my friend like using these products
I love the purple shampoo but have found the other products to be a bit of a miss for me. Found that my hair was often left feeling stiff.

This review is for current, modern-day olaplex. When they first started gaining traction, (about what, 5 years ago) their formula was immaculate. Truly luxurious, salon-like quality which I paid because it was worth it. I bought a set of the travel-size options of the shampoo and conditioner for a longer trip this past July. The trip was just a state east, no weather/temperature/climate/altitude changes. The shampoo was just like my regular Monday brand shampoo. It is mid-range at best. It is totally different than what made olaplex so successful in the first place. The conditioner was fine - slightly better than my usual, but for the price? Never again, They're just one of the casualties of selling out, but I'm sad about this one. I was looking forward to having salon-forward hair on vacay, but it was just normal.
great product but i still think there’s other brands out there with a lower price point.
I live for the bonding oil. I only need a little bit on my thick and long hair. It does not get greasy or weigh it down. It makes flat ironing a breeze though and keeps my hair sleek looking all day.
Pricey but very worth it! Works wonder on mind and my husbands hair!

Olaplex No 3. I always use it when I get highlights in my hair, however it's pretty expensive. It truly makes my ends smoother.

My Mom tried it and liked it. The No 4 shampoo and conditioner
I love olaplex, definitely has helped my hair. It’s on the more expensive side, but worth it.

I used Olaplex on my hair before and I thought it was nice. Wasn’t my favorite ever but it did make my hair soft

I had super bad damage to my hair after getting it colored. I decided to start using Olaplex only after being told to stick to one type of hair care brand. My hair is insanely thick, long, and healthy now.
I have tried the Olaplex hair mask and like it, but later saw articles about some associated hair loss so I stopped using the product.
Hands down best shampoo and conditioner. Used also no 0 but it was small bottle and I can't honestly say much about that. But shampoo is lush make my hair looks beautiful. Little goes long way as well so even with higher price tag its worth it especially that I use it every second wash. Conditioner is quick with results which is bonus if ypu take only quick shower. 3 minutes and you feel a difference.
Very good products! Will purchase again

unfortunately, olaplex is amazing. i was one of the people who would never pay more than $10 for shampoo and conditioner - until i bleached my hair blonde (it is very very dark). my hair was brittle, thinning, and visibly stressed as my natural waves were forced straight. olaplex, quite literally, to the rescue. i exclusively used their shampoo, conditioner, and post-treatment for frizziness. and wow. my hair was thin and brittle yet poofy and frizzy at the same time, like it was a patch of dry grass coming out of my head. olaplex after a week turned my hair back into waves. it is too expensive to be my daily haircare but while i still have my blonde hair, i'll be using this only (also never going blonde again).
I feel like for the price the products don’t produce drastic differences
At first, I loved olaplex but overtime I didn’t like how it was making my hair feel. I wouldn’t recommend for curly hair in the event of using shampoo or conditioner but LOVE the bonding hair oil!
these products changed my hair!
