Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

Love Oatly, it's so creamy. My partner uses it daily, so when I run out of almond milk, I treat myself to this creamy goodness.
Out Milk is all the hype these days, however I still prefer the taste of Almond milk. I can't tell if I don't care for this brand or I just don't care for oat milk in general. I know that this is probably the leading brand for oatmilk, however I work in a cafe-adjacent establishment and people do tent to ask for fat free and sugar free oatmilk which this brand is not. Although that is not my preference, it is something that people care about apparently.
This is the best oat milk on the market in my opinion. It froths well for lattes and does not separate when added to hot coffee or tea.

Nothing!
It's oat milk! It's good! Just don't accidentally buy the low-fat one. It is just like water.
Not a fan of the inflammatory oil (rapeseed) used in this beverage.

Please use better ingredients!
Super creamy, excellent in lattes, a little thick for my day to day, but an overall gem
Great marketing, pretty good milk. Better than almond milk. Not as good as coconut. Took evil money 🤔
Super fan of Oatly! Love the flavor and texture of this stuff. It's got a well balanced oat flavor, and is creamy enough to use in drinks or drink on its own. You need to be sure to shake it every time though. Sometimes it settles a bit if it sits for a while.

Distribution at Kroger please! It's only available at Whole Foods in my area, and it's a bit of a drive, so I don't drink it all the time, but it certainly is a treat when I get to pick it up.
Oatly has the best flavor of oak milk and it is not filled with a ton of other things. We had to lower our consumption of cows milk but love milk and Oatly has been a great replacement especially with coffee, cereal, and in cooking.
The only milk I'll use for coffee! I was a die-hard soy milk fan until I tried Oatly- it's the only replacement that I've tried that has the same creamy consistency and taste.
The barista blend has saved me in working from home this year, great with coffee!

Wish they could find a work-around for the rapeseed oil.

My daily go-to for all lattes, cereal, oatmeal, baking, etc. It mostly stands out for frothing very well, even without a true steam wand.
So many oat milk brands out there. The branding and tone of voice is great, and taste is good, but I'm not sure if I'd buy again due to social/political reasons
As someone who didn't grow up drinking milk, but loves it in my coffee, I will say Oatly is a great milk alternative that adds a roundness in flavor to any drink. I love the nutty flavor and though there's quite a bit of sugar in there I really only use a splash of it in my coffee. Just make sure to shake the carton before pouring!

I wish they sold smaller carton sizes at my local grocery store because it does take me a while to go through. I've also tried their coffee oatly ice cream and wasn't a big fan of the texture and flavor in ice cream form.
My favourite oat brand - find it tastes the best and I love the branding. My friend is an oat-milk obsessive and tries every brand, and only buys oatly now, which has probably influenced my opinion.
I’m a fan! I like that they have a barista version of the oat milk. I don’t know what that means or how it’s different! And yet I still buy it over the regular kind. I typically use it for matcha lattes.
I've been reading all sorts of horrible things about some of the ingredients in most oat milks being pretty icky, but I am not going to comment on that or whether or not Oatly falls into that icky boat. Oatly slaps. I love having it my matcha lattes. And their advertising is fun and I am an easy sell.
people think this is healthy but its not. they use rapeseed oil which is highly inflammatory. i stopped drinking this and will stick to malk
Tastes good but the ingredients are freaky. That said it does work really well for foams and microfoams for latter, cappuccinos, flat whites. I just feel concerned about consuming on a regular basis given the glyphosates.
I love Oatly's oat milk! I will use it in my coffee and my cereal. I am lactose intolerant so their milk is a great alternative to whole milk for me and it honestly tastes way better and is healthier as well.
