Reviews mention

  • Chic minimalist packaging aesthetics
  • Spa-like eucalyptus body wash
  • Quick-absorbing hydrating serum
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin-friendly formulas
  • Inconsistent deodorant odor control
  • Lightweight lotion hydration level
  • Occasional faulty pump packaging
  • Divisive, inconsistent scent profiles

Necessaire earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delivers sensorial, spa-like body care—especially Eucalyptus and Sandalwood Body Washes, the Body Exfoliator, Body Serum, select deodorants, and a well-loved mineral Sunscreen—yet several reviewers find formulas average for the hype and small sizes. Strengths include chic, functional packaging, gentle options for sensitive skin, and standout scents; weaknesses surface around inconsistent deodorant efficacy/irritation, lotion and serum being light for very dry skin, occasional faulty pumps or hard-to-empty tubes, and scents (celery/oregano notes, weak longevity) not pleasing everyone.

  • I tried Necessaire because I saw that The Neck Serum said it would help with tech neck, which I have a bad case of since I'm always on my computer and phone. I've been using it a few weeks and I do feel like the lines on my neck are less noticeable.

  • I love their line and would repurchase. My favorite include the body serum and body wash! Luxurious but it makes life better.

  • I've tried many products from the brand. Sex Gel, Body Lotion, Body Serum, Body Wash, and Gel Deodorant. The only one I have repurchased is the Body Wash in Eucalyptus. It is my HG body wash. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin (I have a history of eczema, iykyk) and it smells like a luxury spa. Overall, the brand has very chic minimal packaging and the formulations are effective and elegant. But I think they are incredibly overpriced for what they are.

  • I wanted to love Necessaire, but the products have been a bit hit or miss for me. 2 years ago for black friday, I bought their set with the body wash, scrub, and body lotion. It came with a free body serum as well. The body wash was nice - I went through it first. I don't remember it being amazing or particularly memorable, but it did what it was supposed to. The scrub I only just finished a few months ago. I wasn't a huge fan of it. Its super gentle, which I liked, but the packaging was a bit of a pain. The scrub would get all in the cap and it was such a mess. Once again, I wasn't particularly wowed. I did really like the body lotion - I found it to be super hydrating and loved that it was unscented, allowing me the play around with whatever perfume I wanted to wear that day. The serum was good too, but now that I'm finished with it, I don't really notice its gone. I think I would repurchase the body lotion again, but it is so pricey. I also don't love squeeze tubes for body lotion - I prefer a tub or a pump. If you can drop some money on body care, I think it's a solid brand but I don't know that I feel all of the products are worth the price.

  • Loved the hyaluronic acid serum during pregnancy. I would put it on my belly every day and it left my skin so soft and hydrated. It is not sticky and absorbs quickly.

  • I purchased the Eucalyptus body wash and absolutely loved it -- the branding is clean, the design of the bottle itself is neat / functional, and the scent was to die for. Would definitely buy this again! It elevated my shower experience.

  • Good products for sensitive skin. Used their body wash which was very relaxing due to their eucalyptus scent, but it didn't lather as much as I would've liked. Their body serum was so nice and absorbed really fast, so no sticky skin!

  • I've only tried the deodorant so I can only speak to that one product. Nonetheless, I absolutely love it! I stopped wearing traditional deodorant some time ago. I've been looking for something that will help with the discoloration under my arms while also doing the things that deodorant should do and this one has been it for me. Especially since giving birth. I don't sweat as much and I also don't smell musty. Definitely a 5/5. I look forward trying other products but when I can catch them on sale because this brand is bit pricey for my budget.

  • The only body wash I'll use! I'm obsessed with the Sandalwood scent. You can't go wrong with the lotion and hyaluronic acid either!

  • I love Necessaire - specifically the Eucalyptus scent. I use the body wash, exfoliator, and unscented location and always am finding my boyfriend stealing them from me.

I love that the scent is light and fresh. Would love for them to launch more face products next!

  • I bought their body wash as a one off and now it’s on auto-ship. It makes my skin so so soft and I smell amazing.

  • I love the smell of the sandalwood body wash and appreciate how the bottle design looks in my shower with its minimalist packaging. I also really appreciate that they offer bulk refills. I don’t feel that the cost justifies the actual product however — it doesn’t necessarily work better than a regular drugstore body wash, it just happens to have a more luxurious scent.

  • Most of their other products weren't for me, but the deodorants are the bomb and have become a staple for my whole household!! The scents are gender-neutral and not overpowering, and the formulas really work for me and my parter to a surprising degree!! Even on days I don't wear it, I find that I'm less stinky overall, lol. It's a comfy, non-irritating watery gel that doesn't get sticky or stain my clothes, which is also a huge plus. Have tried and loved the Unscented and Eucalyptus, and have just ordered the new Sandalwood scent with high hopes. A must-try if you don't like traditional deodorants!!

Might like to see a refillable bottle in the future.

  • I have very sensitive skin and majority of bath and body product lines irritate my skin more but not this line .

  • If you have sensitive skin, I love the eucalyptus, body wash and their fragrance free body cream.

  • I recently purchased a variety of Necessaire products including the charcoal exfoliator, body lotion, body serum, and eucalyptus scented body wash. The exfoliator, though gentle, effectively removes dead skin. However, I do also use a Gohsi exfoliating towel which may contribute to its effectiveness lol. I won't repurchase the body lotion or serum as they don't provide long-lasting hydration for the price. On the other hand, I will likely buy the eucalyptus body wash again because I do really enjoy the refreshing scent. While these products aren't terrible, the cost is definitely something to consider when deciding to continue using them.

  • I don’t get the hype with Necessaire. I tried the body wash, lotion and body serum. It’s expensive and nothing special. Trader Joe’s gel moisturizer is a dupe for the body serum and 1/4 of the price :)

  • Love the products!!

Luxurious but also a little overpriced. It's hard to justify spending so much on body wash when there are comparable options out there.

  • My fave body wash! It smells amazing and it’s the only body wash I’ve seen myself buying over and over again.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE the packaging. I’ve bought their deodorant multiple times and it’s by far the best out there. Body wash is also 👌
