Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

My husband likes to snack throughout the day. He found these Magic Spoon cereals online. Perfect to snack on throughout the day for some extra protein.
I’ve only had one flavor so far but I loved it! Such a good texture.
Great concept, but has a bit of an odd aftertaste from the sweetener.
honestly, kind of meh. i really loved their fruity flavor and was indifferent to the rest. also, def expensive but not insanely so compared to similar products. if you can find a flavor you really like, then spend the money, but otherwise it's kind of whatever.

the nostalgic tilt is great, but it just doesn't hit the same (or even close) as the real thing.
this was a nice low card alternative to everyday cereal. they offer a great variety of flavors that one would expect from a cereal company.

kind of expensive, but a great option!
I love cereal and this brand is so good! I love that there is a health benefit to it rather than just the sugar from a normal cereal. The only two drawbacks are the price and sometimes the cereal gets stuck in my teeth because of the texture

I think this was a bit less expensive I’d buy it a lot more and eat it more frequently. I’d definitely give the brand a try if you haven’t yet! It is worth the money occasionally but just too pricey to have as a staple

Okay, I gotta admit, I was skeptical about Magic Spoon at first. A cereal that's low in carbs and sugar but high in protein? Sounds too good to be true. But I figured I'd give it a shot, and I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. First off, the packaging is pretty slick. It's like they hired a graphic designer who used to work for Apple or something. It's the kind of cereal box you don't want to throw away, even after you've eaten all the cereal. But let's get to the important stuff: the taste. I gotta say, it's pretty darn good. It's not quite like the sugary cereals I grew up on, but it's definitely satisfying. I've tried a few different flavors, and they're all pretty tasty. The fruity one is my favorite, but the cocoa one is a close second.

The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the price is a little steep. I mean, it's cereal, not caviar. But I guess you're paying for the protein and the low sugar content. It's like they took the fun out of breakfast, but replaced it with something that's good for you. So, in conclusion, if you're looking for a guilt-free cereal that won't wreck your diet, Magic Spoon is worth a shot. It's not quite as fun as the cereals we grew up on, but it's a lot better for you. Just be prepared to pay a little more than you would for your average box of cereal.

Have a protein-powdery type taste and a hard texture.

I still think it a serves a purpose and may be better than alternatives.

Amazing brand Amazing taste Amazing Breakfast option Would love to have a more natural option :)
i’m so sad that i didn’t love these flavors. i wanted to love it because the branding and messaging is so good. i hope to see more flavors in the future that maybe i would like better but i continue to follow the brand because they are so cute and fun!
so expensive and it has a weird aftertaste. If I’m going to eat cereal I’d just go for the real thing

Weird aftertaste
Magic Spoon is an amazing option if you are addicted to sugar and need something to kick the craving. With that being said, it's a highly processed food nonetheless. It tastes like whey protein (which some people love, but I personally do not). It also hurts your stomach if you eat too much, so be warned! I'd consider it the Halo Top of cereals. Frankly, I just think there are better protein cereals on the market.

Nice branding and social media presence.

The taste and price is not quite there yet
If you’re on keto and desperate for some crunchy cereal, this may just help you get through. For me, the taste just wasn’t there. I only got a few bites into my bowl and tossed it. Bummer that specially with the cost of the skinny/short box. About double a regular XL box of cereal but a fraction of the size

I tried a 4 pack of cereals (Cocoa, Fruity, Frosted, Peanut Butter). I found them to be pretty yummy and satisfying as a sweet breakfast, but I mostly take issue with the cost! It's just not sustainable for me to pay this consistently for my at-home breakfasts. I think it's not worth it for me in the long run and my own budget. I do love the whimsical, colorful designs though!

Love that I can have a bowl of cereal and not have it completely be filled with sugar. I've tried different flavors but keep coming back to cocoa and peanut butter the most.

I've bought my packs 4 at a time, but am not a constant enough cereal eater to go on a subscription. Cons? It is a little pricey (better to buy online than at Target!). I like the taste but sometimes I feel like my mouth is a little "gummy" after having a bowl.
I was drawn to the fun designs on the box. The products evoke a bit of nostalgia but do not live up to the hype.

Seemed like it be so cool and didn't think you could go wrong with cereal. Taste isn't appealing.
Magic Spoon is buzzy and for plenty of reasons: keto, 0g sugar, and it's beautifully designed by Gander. As a cereal lover I was excited to try it and got a multipack shipped. However, it just was ... well, fine. While it has 0g sugar it still got stuck in my teeth like candy and left that sugar substitute aftertaste (maybe that's just me?). Is it worth trying? Yeah, probably. Is it worth trying again? For me, no.

It's grain free and no sugar, so like, I understand it's not the norm for cereal lol. But the texture was pretty rough, and it felt glued to my back teeth after eating.

Love the packaging and fast delivery. Cereal was fine. I feel like it got stale quickly, but I also don’t eat cereal every morning
I like to have a bowl of cereal as the odd late afternoon or evening snack so a low carb/high protein option was very appealing! I decided to give it a chance and bought a few boxes online to justify the cost of shipping and to get a better deal. Overall I liked them all - there was a bit of a "protein powder" after taste and a slight texture you might expect from a 'healthy' cereal but the flavour was good and the nutritional benefits made it worth it. The main downside is the price (especially when combined with shipping and I believe they are currently only available online so this is unavoidable. Certainly I wouldn't switch to this for daily breakfasts given the price but as a once in a while snack it's all right but I would look out for sales and most likely wait until I saw it than seeking it out online when I'm out.

Could be less sweet! Smaller boxes (or multiple sealed bags within the box) for people who just want it as snacks and don't want the box to go stale.
