Reviews mention

  • Buttery-soft fabric leggings
  • Durable, long-wearing construction
  • Flattering, supportive fits
  • Thoughtful, functional details
  • Inconsistent, tight sizing
  • Pilling-prone align fabric
  • Occasional seam failures
  • Sometimes sheer leggings

Lululemon earns strong reviews for performance that lasts—many cite leggings, ABC pants, Scuba and Define pieces holding up for years—while buttery-soft Aligns, breathable fabrics, and precise tailoring elevate fit and comfort. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, pilling or seam issues (especially Align), occasional sheerness, and a perceived decline in quality alongside high prices and limited inclusivity.

  • i’ve only ever owned two items from lululemon- a pair of tights and a sports bra. i bought them because i had ironically left behind my gym clothes at home and knew that i’d be shelling out money for it since it was an impulse buy.. the tights are by far the most buttery-soft pair i’ve EVER owned. were they expensive? yes. did i regret it? absolutely not. i did decide i’d never buy myself another pair bcz my wallet can’t sustain that lifestyle. the sports bra was very comfortable. it has a secure hold and i can easily go for a run in them and not worry about anything fumbling around up top.

it really is a shame that it’s a bit out of my budget bcz if not i’d probably have most of my workout gear from them.

  • After my trusty pairs of Old Navy cotton leggings all crapped out, I could not find non-compression leggings to save my life. I tried SO MANY brands. They all sucked. A friend finally suggested Lululemon. I didn't care how much they were- I was desperate (sounds dramatic, but my wardrobe consists of black leggings with a shirt and maybe pullover... every day...) so I went to my local store and bought a pair of 28" Aligns. Boy howdy. I fell in LOVE. I bought 5 pairs after and haven't looked back. On top of that, my husband apparently has a long torso that even tall sized brands don't fit properly. Lululemon's mens clothing fits him perfectly. Yes, it's expensive - but this is a case of you get what you pay for. Their fabrics are soft and so comfortable. I doubt I'll ever buy another pair of leggings.

From the leggings to the Scubas - I love Lululemon. Keep in mind you really need to take a bit more care when washing. I wash all my Lululemon pieces on delicate and I tumble dry on extra low (except my Scubas) and absolutely do NOT use dryer sheets. That would be the only "down side" to the brand, but it's not a big deal to me personally. It's not cheap, but it's been worth it for me.

  • I really like their legging for high intensity workouts! I have a couple different pairs and they have all lasted 3+ years for me so far, and are still looking good. I think they are worth the price.

  • Love their products for the gym and everything in between. I wish the prices were a bit more reasonable.

  • I love how attentive they were in the store during my shopping process, and offered me free hemming on my pants. However I think their mirrors are slimming which feels deceptive because I never liked what I bought as much as I liked them in the fitting room.

  • Bought some pants from here and it's insane how comfy they are. HUGE HUGE fan, literally cannot go wrong. It's on the higher end but let me tell you how worth it is. 5/5

NOTHING, theyre perfect! Also love how you can get more custom sizing with shorter length and such. Most brands don't do that.

  • Lululemon has had a hold on me since I was a teenager. Their clothing is truly designed for performance and comfort and they live up to the hype. I always reach for my Lululemon leggings/sports bras/socks over others because of the comfort. There is something for everyone in their stores! P.S. if you're looking for gift ideas for a special man in your life, nothing compares to the ABC joggers!

Whatever you do, do NOT put your Lululemon leggings in the dryer. Even ones that I have exclusively hang-dried have pilled. It seems to only be an issue with the Aligns and Wunder Unders. I once went in-store to request a refund or replacement for a pair of Aligns that pilled after the first wash and the sales associate was really rude and unhelpful - I didn't get a replacement and was told it was my fault, despite the leggings only being worn once and never having been put in the dryer.

  • I love Lululemon. It is pricy, so I don't buy often, but when I do, it's 100% worth it. Every single piece I have (mostly sports bras and leggings) has been absolutely worn into the ground. Most of my purchases have been in a pinch because my office was next door to a Lululemon, so I'd run in when I forgot to pack a sports bra. Luckily in this case, the sizing is so consistent, I never have to worry about anything not fitting properly.

I wish there were petite/short size options!! I've had to have every pair of Lululemon pants hemmed (which is fine because – I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but at the time I bought them – they offered free alteration services).

  • I was expecting their tights to be top of the line because of their price point, but found the seams started showing wear after one wash. Also found their more compressed leggings were too tight in the thighs, and loose in the waist.

    Needed better quality fabrics/seams.

  • Awesome clothing. I think the gear is extremely high quality and is great for the modern era. Customer service is phenomenal and generally a high quality product.

Wish the name wasn't made just so that Asian people couldn't pronounce it.

  • Their quality is top notch. You pay for it definitely, but for me it's worth it because they last you so many years. If you're a serious athlete who cares about performance over trendy workout clothes, Lululemon is the best. But the products are also comfortable for everyday wear.

  • The quality is just incomparable. Lululemon produces high quality clothing that is built to last (though I would avoid the wunder under leggings because it pills). My favourites are the Scuba 1/4 zips, align leggings, and cotton t-shirts. Lululemon cotton t-shirts are probably the most comfortable shirts I've ever come across. I've had mine for 4+ years and they are still as comfortable as when I bought them. Lulu pieces are also super flattering and fit so well.

  • That align fabric feels like wearing NOTHING in the gym. I love this brand’s shorts over everything.

    Feedback

The shorts are super expensive and don’t wear super well over an extended period of time.

  • Every single time I decide to buy spandex from another company I realize that I’ve made a huge mistake. They look and feel better than all the rest.

    Feedback

They’re not cheap. I guess that’s my biggest con— but the quality is great and I LOVE that they do free tailoring in store.

  • The Align collection is well-loved by most and for good reason-- it's super soft, opaque fabric, comfortable all around, and great for everyday wear. The Align bra is one of my personal favorites because it's supportive and cute at the same time. I also really love Lulu's Hotty Hot running shorts. They're great if you like a lighter fabric to run in, especially for longer distances, and don't bunch up for chafe.

    More colors, lower price.

  • The place to go if you want high quality and good fit. Speaking only from my experience with leggings, biker shorts, sports bras, yoga mats, backpacks. The clothing items are easy to care for, I avoid the dryer just to be safe.

  • The prices are high for what you're buying and the quality isn't as great as it used to be. Also, the sizing is hit or miss - not a consistent size in anything except the leggings. That said, the Align leggings are my go-to leggings whether I'm wearing them for pilates or lounging around the house.

  • I know the preteens and teens love this brand but that is more a result of marketing than a high quality product. Though their items are cute, they are no better than other more reasonably priced brand. There products are overhyped and overpriced. Save your money.

  • I love the fit of lululemons leggings and shorts but all their bras and tops fit weird in my opinion. They are expensive but worth the price if they last

  • Like the look, but sizing runs small and the price is definitely not worth it.
