Little Saints earns mixed reviews: many praise its beautiful packaging and the St. Mezcal’s complex, woodsy–herbal profile that shines in cocktails, while others find flavors weird, overly sweet or chemically, and say it doesn’t taste like real mezcal or deliver noticeable “effects.” Reviews note it works best as a mixer—elevating margaritas, palomas, and spritzes—but weaknesses include inconsistent smokiness, thin body, and polarizing aftertaste; some also report delayed or undelivered orders.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
Little Saints really feels like an innovative product. I think they have an impressive product line with interesting drink options for those looking to avoid alcohol & still enjoying a social drink. Some of their drinks can have a heavy aftertaste and they are pricey.
I tried Little Saint’s mezcal alternative and loved the taste! Very smoky, and similar to the real thing. I don’t notice any difference from the botanicals they add to supposedly enhance your concentration or relaxation, but I also didn’t really expect to. Maybe those effects are meant to be cumulative, or they’re just subtle, but I don’t find that I notice them in other brands products either so I don’t think it’s a failing.

Noticeable effects depending on the dose! Get a real solid brain buzz from this. It has helped fuel me to do a couple of hours of work while I'm tired at night. On its own, it's a good simulation of mezcal. Mixed in as a mocktail, the "alcohol burn" is pretty good. That being said I do drink mezcal and if I want a mezcal this wouldn’t quite do it for me. It’s really about expectations and what you’re looking for. It took me half the bottle to decide how I felt and what I wanted it for. I’ll get tired if I have a drink and have to finish up work at night, so I don’t do it. But I want one after a long day - so having something tasty and functional to energize me instead of deplete me is a win.

I have tried a lot of NA drinks, This is one that tasted a lot like a Drink but it wasn't my favorite Mocktail flavor. I think its a great alternative.
This review is specifically about the St. Mezcal. I wouldn't exactly say it tastes anything like mezcal. I didn't get much smoky-ness. That being said, I really enjoyed it. It mixed well with my watermelon kombucha. I definitely want to try their pre-mixed cans and would 100% recommend the St. Mezcal. Just don't have high expectation on taste similarity with real mezcal.

I loved the packaging and how quickly I got my bottle of non alcoholic mezcal. My partner and I have been exploring non alcoholic alternatives and as someone who loves mezcal, I was so excited to see this thingdrop. When I opened the bottle, there are some floaties in there which didn’t bother me much but I see how it could bother someone. The spirit is good, but doesn’t read as mezcal to me. It is sweetened as well, which isn’t my preference. Overall, it tastes good, and works well in mixed drinks, it just doesn’t match a mezcal as much as I thought it would.

A great mocktail brand for those who drink, but want to take a break as the flavors are reminiscent of some of my fav cocktails in the cans. The newest N/A spirit has such a cool brain buzz effect with the lion's mane, I really did feel like I was more happy, creative and in a positive connecting space after having a few mixed drinks with it recently. It also does not have the typical smoky effect of mezcal, more of a little peppery burn and sweet taste!

Although vanilla isn't an ingredient in the St. Mezcal, it has a super intense vanilla flavor. I tried it with plain Perrier and juice from one lime and it tasted nice, but definitely not like a mezcal dupe. It might taste better with more ingredients mixed in.

The packaging is fantastic! The taste is not, they are so sour as to be almost undrinkable, I tried 3 different flavors. I agree with the other person who said that the sweetener tastes artificial/chemical-ish. I also felt zero calming effects after drinking two.
The taste was really subtle - was the consensus of my game night friends and myself that all tried the glass bottle St. Mezcal with palo santo. I loved the handy cocktail recipe card that was provided in the packaging - and the bottle is lovely as well. I helped myself to another cocktail while others did reach for other drinks afterward. I don't think I drank enough to have an effect but I appreciate the Lion's mane, as that is something I would consider taking as a supplement otherwise.

Nice flavor when mixed with seltzer over ice but texture-wise it was very “watery” for lack of a better term. I sort of wish there would have been a bit more body in order to feel a little closer to mezcal

The N/A spirit lacks a smoke and spice making it very hard to mix with others ingredients without being overpowered. I did not find the spirit to be enjoyable as a sipping "mezcal". The packaging was gorgeous though!

I got this through thing drop and was initially suspicious due to the low reviews, but the St Mezcal was awesome!!! They sent an insert with drink recipes and i made the first one which was just sparkling water and lime juice and 10/10 would drink again and am planning on using it as my go-to this summer as i am predominantly ~sober~. definitely recco to someone whos interested in NA options!

I ordered the Paloma, the Margarita, the old fashion and St Ember. I was expecting much more taste and flavor. My best description is that these are a mixer to use with real alcohol at best. The aftertaste is terrible. Lets get down to the real reason for the purchase was to find an alcohol like buzz without the alcohol as it is advertised to do. The reality was there was ZERO buzz or even a hint. I now have 18 cans and a bottle of this stuff to get rid of. Does not work and tastes bad to top it off!

Ginger Mule is really good! The Saint Ember drink is a pretty good addition as well. Both are quite spicy. There are no “effects” of the drinks though.
Love the newest N/A spirit St. Mezcal. I usually don’t love mezcal as it is too Smokey for me, but this is the perfect blend of an earthy, spicy spirit. It’s delicious on its own or mixed in a mocktail! It’s become a staple on my bar at home.

I saw this product being pitched on Shark Tank and thought it was a great alternative for drinking alcohol. The Sharks, except 1 or 2 seemed to like the taste and flavors. I am not sure what they were given to drink but, I have tried all 4 flavors of the "mocktails" and they do not taste anything like their label or description. I'm not sure how to describe the flavors except for bitter and unpleasant. The smell is off putting. I drank 2 of the mocktails back to back as they are only 8oz or 1 cup. I did not feel anymore relaxed or calm. I still have 6 in my fridge and a full bottle since January, it is now May....I am just not excited to consume a drink which almost makes me gag.

I really thought this would impress me somehow! Nope!! A huge fail!! I spent a lot of money and feel robbed, as I didn't feel any different after drinking a couple shots, another time 1 can. Really disappointed. Will not buy anymore.

I saw the debut on Shark Tank. I ordered the variety pack of mocktails. Not happy with the way wine adds pounds, thought I'd try a new buzz. Day 7 it was delivered, I couldn't wait to try it. I tried the Ginger Mule 2 cans served over ice. Nothing, I didn't feel the effects of relaxation or a buzz. The pitch was good and exciting. It's a no from me.
