Reviews mention

  • Noticeably fast hydration boost
  • Convenient travel-ready packets
  • Wide, crowd-pleasing flavors
  • Mixes easily in cold water
  • Overly sweet, sometimes salty taste
  • High sugar and sodium content
  • Occasional thick, gritty texture
  • Inconsistent flavor enjoyment

Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

  • Good flavor, not as salty as other brands

  • I like certain flavors more than others, but overall it tastes really good! Hydration Multiplier is my favorite since I never seem to be getting enough liquid in my system. Would recommend!

  • Love them! They do what they’re supposed to and I think the flavor is great, what else can you ask for? :)

  • Water is generally safe to drink, but not necessarily hydrating and nourishing. Liquid I.V. is great to not just help you drink more water but to actually provide benefits. (I am a water treatment engineer)

  • Energy boost! Good for the days you need that added pep. We use it when traveling.

  • I have used Liquid I.V. for about six months now and am fairly impressed with the results. I play soccer and run/do weights on a regular basis and I try to take this each day that I exercise. The lemon lime flavor was just so-so, so that is one reason that I have dropped in from 5 stars to 4 stars (and noting that the performance improvement was okay but nothing incredible).

  • I am so happy Liquid IV made its way to Canada! As an athlete that participates in 8+ hour long tournaments, I am never worried about muscle cramping because I always bring a few packs of the hydration multipliers. I really appreciate that they are individually packaged making it super easy to use on the go and not have to worry about any mess or fall out. Also brought these on my bachelorette trip and gave them to all my friends to help with hangovers and they were a huge hit!

  • Really enjoy these. These are great for multiple occasions, whether after the gym, at the beach, or if my system needs a little pick-me-up. Liquid IVs help me to stay hydrated and they taste really good! Haven't tried a flavor I didn't like. My only hesitancy is that it is sugar based.

  • Overall, Liquid IV is a tasty and low-calorie option for those looking to stay hydrated and replenish electrolytes. It is also versatile and can be used for prepping for sporting competitions, post-workout recovery, hangover treatment, and hydration recovery from illness

  • Tastes great and always is super hydrating. I swear by these before and after consuming alcohol.

  • As person who enjoys being active Liquid I.V has helped my body stay hydrated. Through the hot days or running or walking, Liquid I.V was able to and quinsh my thirst.

  • Liquid IV is a game-changer! It's delicious flavors and effective hydration formula have transformed my daily routine. I feel more energized, especially after workouts, and I've noticed a significant boost in my overall well-being. Plus, I love supporting a company with a heart – their mission to provide clean water is inspiring. Liquid IV is a must-have for anyone seeking delicious, efficient hydration that makes a difference in the world. Highly recommended!

  • Liquid IV turned me on to this product category as one of the original hydration multipliers out there. I love the variety of flavors and consistency across their product lines. I wish there were a reduced sugar option, though. I've found myself more compelled to try other brands that are less sweet.

  • Absolutely worth the hype. The electrolytes with a tiny bit of salt give the right boost for recovery day

  • For health benefits to increase hydration I recommend it to my clients. I personally struggle with the taste because they are very salty to my taste buds.

  • The other flavors were solid choices. I personally did not like the GUAVA liquid IV. A pro about this is that it is great to take when traveling. The changes in air pressure dehydrates us as a super quick rate so I would say this is a travel friendly item if you can get behind some of the flavors.

  • My first experience with Liquid IV was when I was hiking up Cocohead in Hawaii, completely unprepared and dizzy on the side of a mountain, and a very kind lady offered me a packet to put in my water bottle. 30 minutes later, I finished the hike, grateful to that woman. I love liquid IV - I use the energy multiplier when a cup of coffee isn't possible or unappetizing, and I keep packets with me everywhere I go. My only complaint is the sugar content.

  • Great to drink before working on a hot day or next day after a night of drinking

  • The purchase the Liquid I.V. Hydration + Energy Multiplier - Lemon Ginger to try because a friend was raving about it. I really wanted to like ot but could not get pass the taste. Also? I found it hard to dissolve. There were still chuck of powder even after shaking it. Even though the lemon ginger was not good for me I still would like to try other flavors.

  • I love the variety in flavors-- Seaberry and Strawberry are my personal favorites for the Hydration Multiplier. Admittedly, I have probably only tried half of the available flavors. We are a house of athletes; I am a marathon runner; my son plays on 2 hockey teams and runs cross country; my oldest daughter plays hockey; and my youngest does competitive dance. We are very active and very busy. We have Liquid ID stashed everywhere-- in the house, in both cars, in my purse, in hockey bags, etc. We trust the product for my whole family and understand that they are high in sugar due to glucose being necessary to help transport sodium and absorb water when rehydrating. I've seen a few new hydration products on the market that advertise being "sugar free," so feel that is an important message that needs to get out there. Also, there is nothing better for preventing a hangover when taken before drinking... and helping a hangover if you forget the night before.
