Leaf Shave earns strong reviews for high-quality, metal razors and dermaplaners that deliver close, smooth shaves with less waste, though a learning curve and occasional nicks are common. Reviews praise the weighty, ergonomic design, pivoting head, and easy blade changes, while citing drawbacks like slippery handles without a grip, finish chipping, wide heads for tight areas, and the desire for included cases and recycling tins.

Truly the fanciest razor I've ever owned. You add your own blades in to determine how close of a shave you are looking for (blades are provided). Added bonus of this is that you're able to clean the hair out of the razor much easier. There is no plastic in this product which is great for sustainability.

The razor itself is quite heavy and slippery when wet, it might be easy to shave a face but it's difficult to wield in a shower with a focus on legs and ~elsewhere~ I do see that there are rubber grips available but they should probably just be built-in for better stability.

I love my razor from Leaf. It is really effective and so easy to switch out the blades. Plus, the refill blades are so much more affordable than the equivalent heads for other razors on the market. I also love how low the waste is for this product, since the blades are the only disposable part and they are recyclable. My only feedback is that since the razor is metal, it is so slippery and hard to use in the shower unless you buy the silicone sleeve to go over the handle. I would prefer if that was included as part of the razor to begin with.

I bought my first Leaf Razor on kickstarter and I haven't looked back since. Using Leaf Razor has saved me thousands on single user razors and I love their quality. The bendable head on the main razor is very user friendly and I don't miss single use razors at all. Highly recommend them for the cost saving + quality. Wishlist: 1. I would love if Leaf Razor would come out with a soap attachment, similar to the large venus razors back in the say, so I could shave without having to put on soap first and then shave. Minor, but definitely a time saver. 2. Please come out with a razor for sensitive areas (specifically for women). I use the single blade right now, but I've gotten a few knicks from the outter edges on the single blade catching on sensitive areas.

Really love the concept of having more of a green razor tool. I have the main razor and I primarily use it on my legs, pits and lady areas. I wish it gave a closer shave, but I really do like the product. The weight is great and it looks great in the shower. Would recommend if you are looking for a more sustainable shaving product. Only giving 4 stars because I find I shave more with this than my old razor, but that could be a me problem.
I have the pivoting head razor, and as far as plastic-free razors go, it's the best I've tried. I had a safety razor for a long time and couldn't quite get comfortable with it (not to sound like one of their ads but it's true). Do I wish it was cheaper? Absolutely. But I understand the business model there-- they're making a product you shouldn't ever have to replace, or at least do so very rarely. It's heavy, which for some reason is synonymous with well-made in my brain. Changing the razor blades is super simple, and you don't have to buy their branded ones if you don't want to. I also love that you can choose how many blades you want to put in, you don't have to put in all three (when I first started using it, I only put in one). It's still not super conducive to shaving in nooks and crannies, but like I said, I still think it's the best option.

I have been using the disposable facial razors from Shiseido for years now, so I was really excited to try a more sustainable option. Feels high quality and works well. I didn't breakout afterwards either.

My favourite shaver. Was trying other zero waste shavers before, but this one is the clear winner. Have used it for more than a year now. super happy with it! Only issue is that the color peels off a bit. But no problem really, great shave! No waste 🙏

High quality products, but takes time to get the hang of the angles and not cut yourself

I love everything about this razor but would love to have a cover or case for the razor, maybe with some space for air to get in to dry out the razor. It is hard to carry for travel and sometimes not safe to put openly on the counter. So a case or cover is a must.

A case or cover for this razor is a must. I hope to see that option become available in near future.

I really like the product. The quality is 10/10. I was a little confused how to assemble it as first but then got figured it out within about 5 minutes.

Quick shipping and the product feels really nice in your hands. It's quite heavy which I like, but maybe for some people that's a bad thing. Unboxing it was striaghtforward and the blade is easy to use

I don't have too much to say! It works really nicely. It's ostensibly a straight razor with some guardrails to keep you from cutting yourself, but overall works well to remove some of the fine hairs on my face.

Great quality and easy assembly. I will recommend this to anyone who needs a dermaplaner.

The leaf razor is high quality and heavy which feels better than any plastic option. Took a little getting used to - I definitely hacked my legs up a bit with fresh blades at first but once you know you don't have to use the pressure of plastic razor things get much easier and the shave is much closer. The blades are simple to change out and it's a product I feel good about using. The price is initially high but this thing will last forever vs a lifetime of plastic waste. I've just become very diligent about not leaving it on any trips b/c of the investment! It's the perfect option for people who want to be a bit more sustainable but can't commit to a straight razor, the pivoting head really bridges the gap and makes for a pretty seamless transition. Big fan.

My razor is black and the finish has chipped away in places but it's not a huge deal. I guess I covered the helpful info - start with a light touch and take it slow at first!
Great customer service. I requested an exchange after almost a year as the top part of my razor (the guard?) had bent down on one side, and they were so great to deal with. Love my product. Wish I got the stand but I have no reason to buy another as the single product has been great As a woman, tried to shave with a regular safety razor and came away looking like I lost a fight with it. I've never had that problem with this. Such a good investment.
Feedback
The only things I don't like is that the top part of the razor ends up bent down and uneven. Super easy to exchange it though, as well, I wish I didn't get a painted one as even if I do my best to keep it from being Damp the paint flakes off.

I’ve used the dermaplaner twice since receiving it, and I’m really pleased with the results! The product has a really nice weight to it and feels much more luxurious than the little plastic tinkle razors I’ve used in the past. I already use a Leaf razor for my legs/underarms/etc so I love that I can use the same replacement blades for both now.
Feedback
Overall, very pleased with the product but not sure if I would have purchased without the Thingdrop discount.

I really like this dermaplaner the handle has a lot of weight and I feel better about not throwing away the plastic of the small face razors. I had some trouble getting the blade into the handle as it wasn't clear that it was supposed to go between the sides of the guard but otherwise I found it to be easy to use one the blade was placed securely. Some more thorough instructions may be helpful with photos in addition to videos if possible.
Feedback
The tutorial of loading the blades was a little bit unclear. Some still photos or written instructions may be helpful for people who learn differently, but now that I've done it once I feel more confident that I would be able to do it again.

You definitely have to be careful with your method because there is a strong possibility of cutting yourself. However, there are no sharp edges and it’s very well-made. It’s also very effective!

I love my razor. I bought a starter kit over a year ago and I still have not run out of razors. The shave is great, and it is easy to use and clean. I do not see myself ever using another razor.
Feedback
It is a bit expensive.

The razor is obviously high quality and feels good in my hand. I think I’m still learning a bit but I have yet to shave my legs without cutting myself. The shave is good but can’t say it is better than other razors I’ve tried. I do like that there is much less waste.

Make a razor that is more suited for legs.
