  • i’ve had the leaf razor for a few years now. i’m still a big fan but i think I also like the sustainability behind the brand enough to excuse the downsides of easier knicking and not as close of a shave as you might get with a disposable (at least that’s what i’ve found) . Personally for arms and legs, i’m fine with the level of closeness and for the knicking part i def think it’s a learning curve like nowadays i hardly find that to be the case but i do still have a scar from my first time use 🙃 (but perhaps that was a user error on my part.

  • Love this brand. Sustainable, clean, and stylish! It was an investment but now it seems like I never have to buy refills! They last so long.

  • Great razor, great customer service, love that the blades are not proprietary to leaf, buy single edge razor blades, packs of 100 are around $7-10. I had a problem with a razor I purchased and they warranty replaced it for me. I have not had any issues with the new one and it’s been going strong for 3 years!

  • I love their dermaplaner! Very well constructed, easy to use, and I feel much better about using this rather than the disposable ones I had been using previously.

  • Horrible. Not only did the product not work, they did not give me my money back when I asked customer service.

  • I ADORE this razor. I switched to safety razors because i was sick of overpaying for plastic that would end up in oceans. The gulttonous corporates made me so angry: charging 100x what the product cost and belching plastic into the environment. However the straight razor often cut me despite focusing carefully. And it would not cut close meaning having to shave constantly. Enter Leaf: it has 3 (4?) separate razor blades that you change as often as you like for a close shave. The head tilts, helping you glide over curves like your knee cap. I've never cut myself and my legs stay smooth! Definitely worth the money. <3

  • bought this razor because I wanted to be more sustainable when it came to shaving. I love that it comes with a box to store your used razor blades and I also love how easy it is to change out the razor blades. The angle of the head of the razor has a bit of a different angle than plastic razors but it was super easy to get used to! I love my Leaf Razor, but it would be super amazing if it also had a case or protective cover for the head of the razor so that I could travel with it. Overall, I still love the razor and find that I haven't bought plastic razors since I started using it.

  • I’ve been using Leaf since mid 2022. Overall I like it! I started off with the 3 blade razor and re-purchased that and the twig when I lost my first one. Pros: Good Quality - metal and the finish are really high quality and don’t chip. Colors - lot of variety and the Prism is beautiful. Cost of blades - Cheaper than most razors since you use the traditional blades. Cons: Learning Curve - you will cut yourself the first couple of times you use this. There is a technique and angle you need to use with this razor and it takes time to get it perfect. Time? - I find myself going slower because I’m afraid of cutting myself.

  • I have extremely sensitive skin and this is the only razor I can use. I’ve the look and feel of it!

  • I have bought the Leaf razor and the new dermaplaner and both are easy to use, very good close shaves and I have the ability to pick my own razor blades from Amazon for pennies a shave.

  • Leaf shave is my go-to brand for all things shaving. I've always loved the Leaf razor, however now that the Dermaplaner is available, I can't wait to get my hands on that too!

  • I have a leaf shaver and it's super high quality. Gotten many comments from my friends on how high quality just from seeing it! It comes with a traveling case that's super useful as well.

  • I did not love the dermaplaner I bought as part of the Thingdrop, but I will say I also don't think I'm the target audience as I do not dermaplane frequently. I have used a plastic dermaplaner in the past, and I found this one to be much more difficult to use in comparison. I don't know if maybe I just wasn't holding it right, but it did not feel as intuitive to get the right angle against my face and also hold the part that opens up closed. I did nick myself on my upper lip. However, I do not dermaplane my face very often, and I think in the future when I want to for a special event, I will just purchase plastic ones after I use the refill blade this one came with. I could see where this one would be much more worth it if you dermaplaned often and would not only get used to it, but would save from throwing away all the plastic.

Some photos on the packaging of how to hold it, and maybe some sort of lock for the part that opens up. Also I found my experience was much better when I used a facial shaving oil in combination with the dermaplaner - my face was a lot less red afterwards than when I didn't use it.

  • Originally purchased the Twig. While the smaller size is really nice, I have a coarse hair texture and found that I had to go across areas multiple times. Being a single blade razor, essentially that probably should have been expected. I finally settled on the Leaf and I'm extremely happy with my purchase! Usually one or two passes and everything is smooth. I love leaving it on display in my bathroom with the included stand.

  • Definitely expensive upfront, but I love not having to buy a razor again (just the blades). It’s not as scary as I thought it would be and have now gotten completely used to using this type of razor. The shave is close and I feel comfortable going a few days without needing to shave again.

Great, high quality razor that’s less scary to use than a traditional safety.

  • Got the single-edge razor in chrome. This was my first single razor shaver and it was a learning curve but in the long run a much cheaper and low-waste alternative to drug store razor heads. The first thing to know is that the razor on this thing is much sharper than drugstore brands, so it should be much lighter in regard to how much pressure you put when shaving, or you risk skin irritation. Secondly, make sure to have the head fully screwed down, or you risk the blade edge moving and scratching you. A big plus is that the razors last a long time but can be difficult to clean during shaving sessions.

  • I love the razor. I love the timed emails about how to use the razor when the razor arrived.

The price point makes this kinda unapproachable. But I look foreword to not needing to buy expensive blades anymore.

  • I really did enjoy these razors and have repurchased them on more than one occasion. They’re definitely much better than my drugstore razors. They feel so much better and I end up with razor burn/ strawberry legs much less often. They’re also much more sustainable so I definitely love this brand.

  • I bought the Twig (single razor). It's gorgeous and I love it. A little bit of a learning curve because I used to only use water—you definitely need soap or cream for this little guy. The packaging is also lovely and customer service is A+

I will probably try the Leaf later in the year for a closer (faster?) shave. You definitely need to slow down a bit, but I haven't cut myself yet.
