Le Labo delivers distinctive, long‑lasting fragrances that draw frequent compliments, according to reviews, yet opinions split on wearability and strength—some scents project for days while others fade quickly or feel overpowering. Reviews praise Santal 33, Another 13, Rose 31, Thé Noir 29, Matcha 26, and potent candles, plus personalized labels and refillable bottles; weaknesses include very steep pricing, occasional batch inconsistency and broken sample sprayers, some bodycare underperforming, and candles that soot or burn too fast.

Visited the Le Labo store in Toronto and it was a wonderful experience. We got to test out so many of the scents and we created a sample set. I found the scents we chose wore very well, you could still smell it after hours and hours. Would definitely buy more from them. For first time buyers, especially the ones shopping online, I would recommend starting with the samples and test them out and experiencing how they wear then investing in a larger size given the price of the products.
Love their discovery set as someone who doesn't necessarily want to be commit to a certain scent, or collect a bunch of different perfumes. I think it offers a great amount of versatility depending on the mood or occasion and really shows off their top choices. Store employees at their retail locations have always been super friendly and helpful whenever I go in to mindlessly try on all their different products.
I've never been a huge Le Labo perfume person, however the candles are amazing. I have the scent Calone 17, and it's a perfect floral balance. They last for quite a while too.

WORTH. YOUR. MONEY. truly an incredible brand. Obsessed with the depth of smells. Have been using The Noir as a shampoo forever and I don’t even care that it’s $80. And I double wash! I promise- you’ll find the most elevated smell.
I didn't know where to start in the perfume world and Le Labo drew me in with their offering of unisex fragrances. I was able to visit one of their stores and ended up buying samples of their Matcha and Patchouli scents; it was difficult to choose which ones I wanted to take home because everything smelled so good. I loved them and I ended up finishing them up within a couple months- which was very fast for me. I will most likely return for more small samples since I don't like commiting to fragrances for too long. I also highly recommend visiting in store- they gave me a lot of free samples of their other body products.
Great scents, just super expensive
not for everyone as most people ive met tend to go for different types of scents. these are mostly unisex, calm, nothing crazy. very pricy but if youre willing to splurge on something more natural smelling, go for it!
I’ve heard negative things about the customer service experience in stores. Luckily enough my mom and I had a great experience at their chicago location and ended up finding a daily perfume oil that smells heavenly. While we were there we saw someone getting their perfume refilled which I love as a concept and helps decrease wasting of the bottles. The perfume oil DOES smell different than the perfume itself so I’d recommend comparing to choose whichever suits you best.
My boyfriend uses Le Labo and he always smells so good! The fragrance stays and doesn't disappear after a couple of hours.
I’m so in love with Thé Matcha, oh goodness, this has fig as the main note, and obviously herbs and other notes that makes this perfume makes me feel calm and concentrated in having a good moment, just wearing this. Is herbaceous and woody. Love Santal 33 and The Noir.

SO expensive but holy it's a show stopper and I'm constantly stopped whenever or where-ever I wear it. Holy - SO good. The definition of luxury.
The cult-like following is for a reason. When someone is wearing Santal or a similar fragrance, it owns the room in the best way possible; it creates memories in a way that you may not have expected from a scent. The fragrance is never overwhelming and the variety makes it possible for everyone to find something. I suggest starting with the sample bottles in small volumes before investing in a full-size bottle.
I wear Noir 29 and my partner wears santal 33. The in store shopping experience (in Madrid) was lovely, and I love that you can customize your bottle. Plus anytime I wear noir 29 I get compliments and it last all day. Price is a bit wild tho
I have cycled through a few of the scents and invested in the Discovery Kit as well. I've loved Santal, The Noir, Another and Patchouli (for when you're feeling a bit more intense). I love the fact that even though its a pricey perfume, they offer the discount when refilling your bottle. It's not much but it makes a big difference for me remaining loyal to the brand. I find that each of the scents linger in really nice ways and even when it fades for me, I always get compliments no matter what scent I'm wearing.

It is very expensive but for potent fragrances they do last and the discount with refill offers a really nice option.
Le Labo has some of the best fragrances. It is a constant in my rotation and I always get so many compliments on my Santal 33 and The Noir 29.

Who doesn’t love luxury in a candle? Or even better in a room spray? I’ve tried these and their fragrance line too. Surprisingly, Rose 31 is amazing on a man. The products are high quality and worth the money.

I love their packaging and the unique options of scent I can get here but can't get anywhere else. Their hand soap and lotion are my go to gifts for other people as well.
All time favorite with a cult following from fellow lovers lol but some of the best scents that will have you and your home smelling absolutely delicious.
I received their lip balm as a gift and I was blown away. I have sensitive skin and there are no harsh ingredients in this. I haven't actually tried any of their other products but I'm definitely intrigued. These make for really great gifts for friends and family.

Can be pricey depending on the product line but this makes a great "treat yourself" type of gift.

pricy, but worth every single penny. no one holds a candle to le labo’s scents or longevity. purchased for my boyfriend as a gift, but turned out being more of a gift to me with how good he smells & how long it lasts!
