Larq earns largely positive reviews for delivering genuinely cleaner, fresher‑tasting water via UV‑C self‑cleaning and optional filter straw, plus strong insulation and long battery life; many users report improved hydration and sleek, durable designs. However, reviews also flag weaknesses: buggy or inaccurate app syncing, leaking lids and loose or faulty straws, heavy bottles with small effective capacity, and recurring cap “orange ring” malfunctions that undermine reliability.

I have the flip top straw and believe it's a poor design for cleanliness. Once it hits the ground or touch the bottom of an airport seat, the straw is dirty. Overall, it looks nice but doesn't hold much water once the filter at the end of the straw is placed in.

Heavy and not very practical

I don't have a Larq water bottle, but I was excited when they released a pitcher and backed it on Kickstarter. After having a Brita, and a Soma (which was next to impossible to keep clean), this is the best pitcher filtration system I've owned. There are two varieties of filter, along with the UV light that you can set to run every ~6 hours. It takes a little more babysitting than others (needs charging) but the app is helpful and there's no guessing how much water you've filtered when it says time to change the filter. Other than a few hard water spots, it stays relatively clean, and does not get moldy - this may be the best selling point.
Feedback
The Advanced filter may need a little work - it filters very slowly compared to the Essential.
I was looking for a water bottle that I would fit in my car's cup holder and found Larq. A lot of my other re-useable bottles didn't fit and if I left in my car while running errands the water would be boiling hot. Larq really keeps the water cold for hours. It is lighter weight than most metal bottles which is great for the gym and putting in my tote bag. That two reasons alone make it a great product but, the self-cleaning feature seals the deal. Knowing that the water I am drinking is clean water is reassuring. Not buying plastic water bottles makes me feel better I am doing my part for the environment.
I absolutely love my Larq bottle! The self-cleaning feature is a game-changer—no more worrying about germs or funky smells. The design is sleek, and the UV-C technology gives me peace of mind knowing my water is always clean. It’s perfect for everyday use and travel. Plus, the bottle keeps my water cold for hours, which is a huge bonus. If you're looking for a high-tech, eco-friendly hydration solution, this is it

This product is useless
I have two bottles from Larq and love how easy they are to use, especially while traveling. I just wish the lid was a little lighter because the bottle becomes quite heavy when it's full.
Innovative product that ensures your water is continuously clean and pure throughout the day, with an additional ability to encourage water intake and hydration via a sleek water bottle

Great little water bottle with a sturdy feel. Love the UV light. Customer service is also friendly and helpful for any questions that come up.

Honestly really like the water bottle. It is super sleek and after using for about a month it really does work. Bottle doesn't smell bad and the battery lasts a good amount of time. I've charged it once or twice in the past month. I wish I purchased the larger bottle, I feel like i'm constantly refilling it.
I actually have this water bottle and its great!
Due to the huge hype around this product, I was keen to try it out. I was sceptical because it's hard to know if the product truly filters the water the way the company claims it does. To be honest, the insulation is average and I had a really hard time cleaning the bottle and changing the lid

I've had multiple Larq bottles, and unfortunately, after a while, they started developing a noticeable steel smell, which was a turn-off. But, their customer service is absolutely amazing. Seriously, they went above and beyond to make things right when I reached out to them. It's so refreshing to see a company that genuinely cares about their customers.

I know, the price feels high at first, but then I quickly got over that because of the quality of the design and features. My other water bottles got moldy and I frankly never was good at cleaning then. I’ve never had that problem with my Larq bottle. It has always stayed clean and the water tasted better (maybe that’s in my head). The other thing that it pretty great is that you rarely have to charge the bottle so It lasts quite long (more than a month). I really love it for travel and I recently bought the 25oz, which I prefer to the 12oz. I’ve also given as gifts to good friends and they are all converts.

When I bought my first bottle I had an issue with the “button”/cleaning feature on the top which would get stuck due to the pressure on a plane. It was fixed but i think they could do a better job with a few easier to find - here’s what you need to know type things.

I recently purchased the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The design is sleek and modern, making it a stylish companion for everyday use. What I love the most is the UV-C purification technology—it effectively neutralizes bacteria and viruses, ensuring clean water at all times. The self-cleaning feature is a game-changer. I don’t have to worry about unpleasant odors or constant washing. Plus, the insulation keeps my water cold for hours, which is perfect for long days out. Setting it up was simple, and the app integration adds a nice touch, allowing me to track usage and purification cycles. Overall, I’m really satisfied with this purchase—it's practical, safe, and beautifully designed. Highly recommended for those who prioritize both health and style!

This is an awesome product! I've been really enjoying my LARQ Bottle PureVis 2. One of the standout features for me is the self-cleaning function—it gives me peace of mind when I’m carrying it with me everywhere. The insulation works really well, keeping my drinks at the right temperature. I also appreciate the detachable handle—it's a smart design choice that my other bottles don’t have, and it’s surprisingly handy. The battery life is impressive; one charge has been lasting me several weeks. The straw design makes sipping easy and minimizes spills. I also value the fact that the filter has been third-party tested—something I always look for when buying water filtration products—and LARQ makes that info available online. It noticeably enhances the taste of the water. I can’t forget to mention the hydration reminders and app integration—those are great features, especially on hectic days when I might forget to drink enough water. Overall, I highly recommend it!

The concept of this stainless steel water bottle is genius. I have always struggled with getting enough daily hydration and tracking my intake. So, when I found out about this bottle I was excited to give it a try. The bottle has a sleek design and smart features. The top contains all the technology including the rechargeable feature, the tracking and the capability to communicate with the app and notify the user. The charge lasts a long time...approximately 7 days. The app is very simple, yet functional. The initial set up was so easy.... it took me 10 minutes. It is so accurate in tracking your personal daily water intake with reminders according to your set up options. One feature that I really love is the self cleaning feature. This feature saves me time, never mind the amount of money I'm saving to not buy water bottles when I'm at work. Just knowing I'm helping the environment to reduce plastic use makes this so worth it.

The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 is such a cool, easy-to-use water bottle that makes staying hydrated a lot simpler. It’s built really well, with double-wall insulation that keeps your water cold for hours, and the handle is super handy for carrying it around. The best part, though, is the UV-C light that kicks in automatically every couple of hours (or when you press the button), killing germs and keeping the bottle clean without you having to think about it. Cleaning it is a breeze too, thanks to the wide opening. I also like the LARQ app—it tracks how much water you’re drinking, shows you the battery level, and lets you adjust how often the bottle cleans itself. There’s even a filter straw you can use if you want extra purification, which is a nice bonus. All in all, it’s a great bottle if you want cleaner water and less hassle in your day.

The LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 has a sleek design and the self-cleaning feature is a cool idea. The UV purification works well, and the advanced filter improves the taste of water. However, the bottle is heavier than expected, and the battery life could be better. Also, for the price, I was hoping for a bit more durability. It’s a decent bottle, but not quite as convenient as I had hoped.

haven't tried the water bottle yet but have had the pitcher for 2.5 years and love it. It's a great concept and alternative to britta which has been in the news for not being great?? I just like feeling like my water is actually being filtered and sanitized and the larq gives me that!
