  • My partner and I were super excited to get our wedding bands from Kinn, only for them to completely warp, scratch and bend with little wear in less than 5 months. I reached out to replace the ring entirely, but was told, of course, that I was beyond the return window but they would be happy to repair the ring. Don't know about you, but after spending $2000+ on two simple rings who's quality absolutely sh*t the bed I didn't want it repaired, I wanted my money back. They claim to make jewelry to be 'worn for generations' but our rings didn't last a year. Also, they don't have an area for customers to leave reviews on individual product pages. Curious! TLDR: shotty quality, would not recommend

  • I love this brand and the pieces are beautiful. I wonder if other pieces are better quality, but I can only speak for the Heritage Bar Bracelet I ordered. It is very beautiful and dainty but not well made -- I excitedly got this as a gift for Mother's Day and it broke after a mere 4 days of wearing it. I was extremely lucky that it fell off while I was unloading the dishwasher and I heard a clank so I was able to find and retrieve it. The chain broke off of the bar and after examining how it was made, I can see that it was not ever built to last. Reached out to customer service and they offered to fix it, but I really don't feel confident that a repair will result in longevity and it'll probably just be a matter of time before it breaks again. Really want to support them as it is woman, AAPI founded but I just hope they work on quality issues.

  • I bought a beautiful pair of simple, tiny pearl stud earrings from Kim. Their message about "heirloom quality jewelry" really spoke to me. I was disappointed when the pearls came off the solid gold backing in a matter of weeks. Not exactly built to last lol. I will say that they allowed me to return them. I would have actually exchanged them for another pair except for the fact that this was the second time I had sent the earrings back, the first time because the sizes of the pearls were drastically different from each other.

  • I recently purchased two expensive items from this company. Unfortunately, the tennis bracelet I received was too small. When I contacted them for an exchange, they informed me that they do not handle international returns or exchanges. However, at the time of my purchase, their policy was different. It seems they have recently updated it on their website, but now they claim that their policy has never allowed for such returns or exchanges. I would never have made such a costly purchase if the policy had been as it is now. Consequently, I am left with an expensive bracelet that doesn't fit me. I would not recommend this brand for international customers. The company shows a clear disregard for international clients, and I have also noticed that they frequently increase their prices, making them unreliable.

  • There is a reason they don’t have a leave a review option on the Kinn website. I wish I had done more research before purchasing. These are certainly not ‘heirloom’ or pieces you ‘never take off’ as they claim. I bought the Dahlia Pavé Ring 1.2mm and wore it for less than a week (I have arthritis so I hardly even use my hands). It was already becoming misshapen in that time. I understand it’s not a chunky ring but I expected it to be good enough quality to wear every day since it’s solid gold. I returned it due due to the flimsy quality. Kinn sent me this email: ‘Our returns team received your Dahlia Pavé Ring 1.2mm and noticed that it was clearly worn and there is unrepairable damage to the shape of the ring. We've attached a photo below of the ring. There is currently a 20% restocking fee for pieces that don't arrive in original condition. We have issued you a refund for $495.17 and you should see the amount refunded within the next 3-4 business days, depending on the bank. As a small, growing business we truly appreciate your understanding.’ I lost $164 but as they say the ring has ‘unrepairable damage’ so I can’t even take it to a regular jeweler for upkeep. I prefer to shop at small businesses but you don’t have the same purchase protection or quality guarantee as you do with big companies. I’m upset because I had my eye on a pair of diamond earrings at Kinn but I am now too bitter to purchase from them again. These are not heirloom pieces. I do not recommend this company.

  • I received my Kinn ring today and was thoroughly disappointed with the quality. The ring arrived scratched and dented, giving it the appearance of a worn piece. Despite their perception as a quality and premium brand, I don't believe they live up to that standard and aren't worth the money. While I appreciate the design, the brand needs to improve its quality. I'm seeking a refund and hoping the brand will honour it.

  • The design of these rings are really beautiful. I ordered the Françoise Stacked Ellipse Ring II - Green Tourmaline. I was upset at the lack of transparency about the ring I received versus the product photos and description. The band I received is what I recently learned was called ‘hollow’, though I was not expecting this. The product photos deliberately hide the underside of the ring so that you cannot see it. On second glance they mention that it is “hollow and designed with comfort in mind”. I am disappointed that they do not educate the consumer as to what that means. I am also disappointed at how sharp the ring feels on the hollow edges. While most rings are solid, a hollow ring has a space either inside its band area, or behind the stone. Many items are constructed in this way to reduce the amount of precious material used in production, allowing the designer to create something at a lower cost and sell it at a lower price range. The stone in the ring is also significantly darker than product photos. Greater care can be taken to ensure that when colour grading the photos, the colour of the stones are true to real life and not just what looks good on the screen or advertising. Lastly, the stone on my ring is not set straight. I recommend that you view the jewelry in person before you buy from this brand. I feel I’ve had a bad customer experience ordering from Kinn. I would appreciate more transparency from the brand.

  • I bought my wedding band from Kinn (or, rather, I sent my husband the link to Kinn to buy my wedding band) after I'd been Instagram targeted by them. I LOVE the look of the ring, and it does fit nicely, but after wearing the ring regularly for a few months, I developed a rash. The underside of the ring is hollow (see photo), and I think soap scum was getting stuck underneath and irritating my skin. It also collects a lot of crud in there. I'm going to find a way to fill it in. Tips? EDIT: I finally reached out to Kinn about this and they replaced my ring with a newer version that doesn't have the hollow underside. No more rash!

    Fill in that underside.

Hi Chloe! Thank you so much for your feedback. Though it looks like our team have resolved your issue, just in case anyone else is reading, the hollow rings tend to "collect" soap, lotion, water, and anything for that matter over time under the ring. With that, it can irritate you from the ingredients! Best way to take care of your hollow rings is to either remove your ring when using products, OR wash with a gentle soap and brush from time to time :) Thank you for loving Kinn!

  • It took forever to get my order. The quality of the necklace was not worth the price.

  • Kinn is the first brand that comes to mind for me when I'm looking for quality jewelry. I've received a ring as a gift, and have so many other pieces on my wishlist. The branding and packaging is so nice, and their customer service team is always so responsive.

  • I bought this as a gift for my MIL, and when it arrived it looked great, packaging was pretty and engraving looked nice. Unfortunately Kinn doesn't offer a service (or any instructions or assistance at all) for printing and fitting photos into your locket, and it wasn't easy. Even worse, the clasp broke not even 2 months after I gave her the gift. She's having it repaired, but it's embarrassing to give a gift that breaks so easily, making it seem low quality. Very disappointing, especially for the price tag.
