JUST Egg earns largely positive reviews as a convincing plant-based egg substitute that cooks and textures like real scrambled eggs or omelets, with folded patties praised for convenience; however, several reviews cite a beany or plain flavor that needs seasoning and note sticking to pans. Reviewers highlight versatility across scrambles, baking, and breakfast sandwiches, but raise concerns about ingredient quality, saltiness, short fridge life after opening, and occasional slow cook-through.

We regularly use the pourable egg. We cook it in a little round dash griddle. It’ll bubble out a little when you close the lid, then just fold it back in and finish cooking. We usually sprinkle a little black salt on it because the eggy flavor is a little lacking in the straight egg, but the texture is perfect.
As someone who was born allergic to all forms of egg, JUST Egg opened up so many new food options for me. The flavor is really good but obviously I can' t tell you how accurate the egg flavor is.

There is so many unnecessary ingredients in this that it turned me completely off.
I'm not sure how egg-like this really tastes, but to me I love that it doesn't smell like eggs, its high in protein, and it tastes great with seasonings. I had a restaurant make this in a breakfast dish- scrambled with salad verde, tortilla chips, and black beans and I need to figure out how they scrambled it because it was SO good. I use it before the expiration date and I haven't had a problem with the product molding after opening it.
I have known JUST Egg to have a very short lifespan in my fridge-- it started molding just a couple days after I opened the bottle on two occasions, but I have used it in baking and I'm pretty content with the result. I have continued to buy it and let my vegan roommate finish it off as soon as I open it so that it doesn't go bad before I can get through the bottle.
I made vegan cookies for the first time as a gift for a friend. I used JUST Egg and the cookies came out so good! My friend loved them and I felt relieved that everything turned out well. I have used this product since and all of the vegan baking I have done came out great. I strongly recommend JUST Egg!

Nothing could have been better. You can use this product for vegan and regular recipes.
I went vegan when I was a young teen, and I never liked eggs before that, but somehow I love this stuff. It's nice to have the convenience of scrambling it and putting it on top of rice to pass off as a meal, and I've had a lot of fun coming up with seasoning blends to add into it. The folds have also introduced to me the world of breakfast sandwiches and how crazy good they are. The folds are a little harder to come by in my experience but I might like them more.

Bigger bottles of the scramble would be awesome!
They’re product is soo cool! It really does cook up like scrambled egg. It’s super easy to use and tasty too. I love their frozen egg bites as well. However their products are a bit expensive and I don’t like buying single use plastic for the liquid egg.

Work on packaging and price, can you sell the liquid egg in a carton?
Not bad, but not egg. This is great to use in cooking, but has a little funk when made as a “scramble”. Only thing I wish is that the product lasted longer after opening.
great product

An amazing egg-alternative! I use black salt to make it a bit more egg tasting, but on it's own it's also great. The only change I would make is to make it more protein heavy to make it a true egg replacement.
Delicious! Less sulphuric taste than real eggs but if ya ask me that’s a positive. Great for breakfast sandwiches or on its own!
I don’t think it really taste like egg. I am not vegan, I am allergic to eggs. I was hoping this would replace not being able to eat them, but the taste is not very good. My mom and boyfriend seem to think it’s good, but I just can’t get behind it.
It really does give you the texture and scramblability of real eggs. My biggest complaint is it tastes like beans to me. I wish it was more neutral. That being said there's nothing I know of on the market that even comes close to what they've achieved.

I was initially concerned about the price of JUST Egg, but considering it's plant-based, I understood the cost. Having this in the fridge made breakfast super easy, whether I wanted to whip up stuffed French toast, scrambled eggs, or an omelet. It's a convenient and versatile choice!

JUST Egg is a fair vegan alternative to scrambled eggs, but the taste doesn't make you forget that they're not eggs. Like liquid eggs you would purchase from the grocery store, it's fairly dense, and has a mustard-y coloring to it that seems to come from turmeric according to the ingredients list. The product also lists canola oil as the second ingredient, which indicates that even though it may be vegan, it's not the most healthy.

The best vegan egg substitute on the market right now. Cooks just like scrambled egg (including getting horrible stuck to pans) but the flavor on itself isn't the best. It's always best to be used with plenty of other things to zhuzh it up like a scramble.
