So far so good! I really like having a separate physical alarm, and the customization features are great. You program the alarm from your phone, and then you can do what the doctors tell you and sleep with your phone in the other room. I'm still working up to this, but Hatch makes it possible. White/brown noises are also helpful.

I love my hatch. It has helped me so much waking up. I don't really use it to fall asleep. But there is nothing better than being woken up to a sunrise rather than an aggressive alarm going off. It also works great when you don't want a bright light on in the morning or at night. I'm only giving 4 stars because I HATE that some features are locked behind a monthly pay wall. It's ridiculous.

I was gifted the Hatch Restore 2 this past December and LOVE it!! It starts turning on the light about 30 minutes before the alarm noise sounds which i've noticed has helped me wake up in a more relaxing way than when I had my alarm blare suddenly.  Also you can pretty much customize the experience completely - whether that be the color of light, brightness, type of sound, and volume. You can also apply different setting to different days of the week which i really like! 

Since getting the hatch, I have been going on my phone less often in the morning when i wake up too!

My 1 critique is that I tried to bring it back to college with me after break and have been having a hard time setting it up since it requires WiFi and it cannot connect to my university's network... but it worked perfectly using my home wifi!

I love my Hatch Restore 2, it reallyyyyy helps me relax and wind-down. The sound library is really amazing, there are a ton of sounds to choose from and the colour ways are very customizable. The perfect bedside tool for someone who needs and values a good night sleep! 

I have heard amazing things about hatch. They are amazing with helping your sleep schedule and giving you overall better mental and physical health. 

This! Has absolutely saved me when my OCD/Anxiety spiral and my insomnia tries to hit. 

I like having the Rest+ in our son's room knowing the machine will continue to play even if we have a power outage and we can move it around if needed. The mobility was especially helpful when he was still sleeping in our room (bassinet) at night and taking naps in his crib/nursery during the day. It was easy to move and held a charge for long periods of time. 

We first got the Rest+ 2nd Gen for our son's room and loved it so much we got the Rest for our room. We did not need the mobility and charging functions for our room so just stuck with the basic Rest and are happy with it! 

I have the Hatch Restore 1, and as a night-owl who CANNOT wake up for the life of me - this product is a game changer!! I love the customizable options for the sunrise alarm and the sunset sleep aid. I do wish that the Restore 2 options were available to me (morning moments!) - for the price I pay (product + app subscription), I think it's only fair. Docking points for price - both the actual product and the app subscription (which is almost necessary to get the full use of the alarm).

If I could give negative star, I would. 

I’ve got hatch second gen from my baby list on Amazon. With that said, I couldn’t just return it. 

For $90 it wouldn’t connect to my home wifi. 
They tried to “troubleshoot “, so apparently if you have a 5ghz wifi or use a secure password it won’t work, so just be aware. 
With newborn on hands, they wanted me to go through a lot of steps to “fix” the issue. 
It ended up connecting to my phone wifi, but not home WiFi. 
Experience overall was just annoying. 
Finally they accepted “return” without return and “shipped” a replacement. 
The tracking says “label created” for a month now and they just ignore any emails to support afterwards. 

So be ready to throw the money if it will not work.
