    Love this brand - the packaging on their products are both sustainable and luxurious feeling! I love that the packaging is all home compostable. Additionally, I love that the products are made and packaged right in the UK!

    Just love Haeckels' free spirit - they started out as a tiny company in Margate and did their own thing. I've subscribed to their innovation box and am completely obsessed, this month I received a candle that smells like fresh air and green leaves together with a new serum they haven't launched yet. If I could give them 6 out of 5 I would.

    Originally tried the Haeckels products in a hotel and went on to buy them because the fragrance and experience were lovely. Highly recommend the shower gel. The brand is super sustainable with products being made locally in Margate using local seaweed.

    There are too many damn brands in the beauty space green-washing, but not Haeckels. The burgeoning Haeckels has quietly evolved to become the brand to infuse environmental impact as well as locally sourced ingredients to create contemporary apothecary. I love their moisturizing lotion as well as their eye cream.

In their own words

Haeckels exists as an amplifier of the natural world and as a community problem solver. We are driven by trying to solve the waste problem – be that through our use of waste natural resources in our products, or presenting packaging solutions to our community that are fully recyclable or compostable. We use seaweed as the base for all of our products. That seaweed is picked by hand in Margate, UK. Why seaweed? Seaweed hydrates; it’s rich with valuable vitamins, minerals and amino acids; it’s anti-bacterial, skin rebuilding and anti-inflammatory; it’s all-natural, and all around us. Under licence, we harvest it by hand from the beach just steps away from our shop. What drives us forward is doing things differently and always evolving. What started in Margate is now sold the world over. We’re afraid to stand still. Everything we do has to have a reason to exist whilst honouring our ocean first philosophy. Nothing is too big or too small. We can’t wait to take you on our journey with us.
