Reviews mention

  • Smooth, crash-free energy lift
  • Attractive, playful packaging aesthetics
  • Clean, green-tea caffeine formula
  • Refreshing, candy-like flavor options
  • Stevia-heavy, lingering aftertaste
  • Occasional jittery caffeine effect
  • Inconsistent, sometimes artificial flavors
  • Wasteful, gimmicky packaging inserts

GORGIE earns mixed reviews: many say it “works” with a smooth, green tea–based lift and no crash, while others find the stevia-forward sweetness and lingering aftertaste off-putting. Reviewers praise lively flavors like Watermelon Crush and Peachy Keen, clean ingredients (green tea caffeine, L‑theanine, biotin, B‑vitamins), and fun, eye‑catching packaging, but call out inconsistent flavor execution, occasional jitters, and branding missteps (wasteful disco-ball filler, exclusionary can design).

  • Pleasant flavor and didn’t give me the jitters, which I appreciated. That said, I didn’t notice much of a difference in energy or focus, and it feels overpriced for what’s essentially a green tea drink. Not bad, but not a game-changer.

  • The first impression was great - I loved the packaging with the mini disco balls! So cute! I was very excited to try Gorgie. I liked the flavor options, but was not a fan of the artificial sweetener taste that lingers. I think the product idea is great, and appreciate the other benefits of the drink, but the taste was not my favorite because of the artificial sweetener taste.

If the artificial sweetener taste was removed, I think I would love these drinks!

  • I love gorgie’s energy drinks. These drinks have such few ingredients. As someone who has to keep track of their sugar, stevia is one of the few good sugar alternatives that doesn’t cause more inflammation. So I love that gorgie uses just that and keeps it clean

  • I iove the packaging on these. It is such fun colors too. I love the energy the mango gives me. It felt natural and not jittery. I used it as afternoon pick me up and it worked well for me for the rest fo the day. Plus it tastes great

  • This is really bussing and I picked up a couple of these at my local Target with a rebate program. I constantly saw ads for this drink so I knew I had to try them. Comes with a variety of flavors but I picked up the pink and blue

  • I’ve been trying out GORGIE energy drinks lately, and I’m really enjoying them. The flavors are light and refreshing, not overly sweet, and they don't leave a weird aftertaste. I appreciate that they're sugar-free and made with natural ingredients. They give me a nice energy boost without making me feel jittery or causing a crash later on because the caffeine is from green tea. It's great to have a healthier alternative to traditional energy drinks that still tastes good.

  • Gorgie has some really great tasting energy drinks! They cost more than I usually pay, so I wait until there's a sale. I don't tolerate most sugar substitutes, so most energy drinks are not for me. I really like that this one uses stevia. All the flavors I have tried (watermelon, punch, mango) were all really great tasting and refreshing!

  • I like this for the fact that they include biotin, as the older you get the more you’ll definitely need that. Green tea being the main character, I feel like the flavoring in these are good, not super sweet just right. Pretty crazy to think this is an energy drink, you can get a little boost in the day drinking this. I would recommend the try and see what you think.

  • I really like this brands energy drinks. They dont have that artificial aftertaste many energy drink brands have, and these are much healthier and have more natural ingredients. I love their packaging too their cans have really bold and fun colors

  • I really liked the Gorgie drinks! I tend to shy away from energy drinks because of their icky ingredients and weird aftertastes, but Gorgie has ingredients that make me feel good and they just taste like the flavored sparkling waters I love to drink. I think the size is perfect too. I also love how they packaged it—I opened my box to see lots of tiny disco balls! Such a cute touch!

  • Tasty little bevie - unlike other caffeinated drinks these have a very natural taste and importantly after taste. I don’t think this will replace my iced coffee habit but it’s a very gentle and tasty energy bump and my wife was equally pleased with not only the taste but impressed with the packaging of the product and the shipping container.

  • Love the concept of an energy drink with added benefits, but the results didn't quite live up. The flavors were either overly sweet and/or a tad too artificial tasting. I also didn't notice a significant energy boost compared to other caffeinated drinks I enjoy more.

  • Ranking the flavors I tried: #1 = Watermelon Crush, #2 = Paradise Punch, #3 = Mango Tango. I did feel a slight boost in energy, which is actually the level I prefer since I'm not dependent on caffeine and therefore pretty sensitive to any time I do drink something with it! Their target audience is definitely people who would normally order matcha/tea and never really drink energy drinks. Would definitely buy the Watermelon Crush flavor again. I think they nailed that flavoring, while the other two I would pass on - the mango tango tasted like a mango white claw... basically lab-tasting mango lol

  • Seeing the other reviews has me kind of jealous. I want cute packaging for mine *humph*. I purchased mine from Amazon and they arrived in the plastic wrap shown in the picture. I can admit that i purchased them based on the look and pretty colors mostly. Coupled with the multiple benefits (sugar free, green tea, biotin, vegan, low calorie). With that being said those benefits affect the taste. The flavor is cool when served chill but is a bit tart at room temp.

  • I was psyched to try these clean energy drinks but unfortunately my experience was doomed from the start: my box arrived soggy, which meant one of the cans had opened. The packaging seemed super cute but all of the pretty tissue paper and disco balls were wet with sparkling watermelon crush. The side of the can hand been punctured, which means I was unable to try it. I liked the sparkling electric berry a lot (the peachy keen was just okay but tbh I don’t love peach flavored things), and I liked the energy these drinks gave me. No jitters or crash here! EDIT: They sent me a new sample pack super quickly, with no issues this time! I’m happy I got to try the watermelon, I liked it a lot. Great customer service and great product.

I like the effect of these drinks a lot, but I’m a little worried about getting them shipped in the mail again. Perhaps different packaging could help here. I recommend the drinks themselves, but definitely more so if they’re in stores rather than DTC!

  • Really nice flavor and just enough sweetness, at least in their berry flavor. I usually don’t drink caffeine, but this one doesn’t seem to be too intense, so I’ll definitely try it again.

  • Cool concept and honestly kinda worked but way too sweet & artificial tasting - pre diabetes vibes - Packaging was super cute tho

  • If Red Bull was made for teenage girls it would taste like Gorgie. I’m tempted to mix it with vodka for a fun night out. I’m not really into energy drinks so I wouldn’t seek this out, but if offered to me, I wouldn’t turn it down. Neutral I guess?

  • I poured them down the drain! I bought and tried all three flavors ( peach, watermelon, and berry). EEEEK!!! Watermelon was the most tolerable because it tasted like a the watermelon "Jolly Rancher" but all of the flavors were so saturated, sweet, and tasted fake...I can't even remember if the bubbles were good or comparable to a seltzer. I cannot speak to the caffeine affects because I didn't drink enough of it to find out.

I'm having a hard time understanding why someone would want to drink this unless you enjoy extremely rich and sweet drinks. The packaging (can) of the drink was fine. I wasn't overly impressed but I do like the long slender cans. The overall shipping packaging was too much. The box was filled with bright pink tissue paper, a postcard, and poorly made mini-disco balls that were falling apart with hot glue ooozing out.

  • There's obviously no partial rating option, but I think I would actually give Gorgie a 3.5 out of 5. My experience with Gorgie was truly an experience, beginning with the packaging, which was incredibly fun to open. However, I have to agree with other reviewers who note how unsustainable the packaging is. I definitely think there should be an option at checkout for limited packaging, especially for repeat customers. The cans themselves were a little dented at the top from shipping but nothing too crazy. The first flavor I tried was the mixed berry, which was unfortunately my least favorite. Definitely had a pretty artificial flavor and wasn't an enjoyable experience for me. It also had a weird smell, in my opinion. On the other hand, the watermelon and peach flavors were fantastic. I absolutely loved how refreshing the watermelon one was and was pleasantly surprised by how light the peach flavor was in the peachy keen can. I noticed that I felt more focused after drinking one of these and a little more awake. I love green tea as well so I enjoyed this hint of flavor. I noticed other reviews that talked about lack of diversity in branding and on the can itself. I do think the tweet-style format of the nutrients in the drink is a little weird, especially because the pictures of random women end up becoming blurry and non-distinguishable. The cans would have a cleaner look if the nutrients were just listed with their benefits instead of pictures of random women and girlboss-sounding phrases.

On the whole, this drink is pretty expensive at $38 for 12 cans. If I were not a student on a budget, I may purchase the 12 pack of watermelon just because I did like the convenience of grabbing one of these from the fridge for a quick burst of non-jittery caffeine. Packaging needs to be improved in terms of sustainability.
