Reviews mention

  • Smooth, crash-free energy lift
  • Attractive, playful packaging aesthetics
  • Clean, green-tea caffeine formula
  • Refreshing, candy-like flavor options
  • Stevia-heavy, lingering aftertaste
  • Occasional jittery caffeine effect
  • Inconsistent, sometimes artificial flavors
  • Wasteful, gimmicky packaging inserts

GORGIE earns mixed reviews: many say it “works” with a smooth, green tea–based lift and no crash, while others find the stevia-forward sweetness and lingering aftertaste off-putting. Reviewers praise lively flavors like Watermelon Crush and Peachy Keen, clean ingredients (green tea caffeine, L‑theanine, biotin, B‑vitamins), and fun, eye‑catching packaging, but call out inconsistent flavor execution, occasional jitters, and branding missteps (wasteful disco-ball filler, exclusionary can design).

  • Love the name and this drink! I love the clean ingredients and the thoughtfulness that was used to create it. My favorite from the variety pack was the Watermelon Splash it is delicious and doesn’t have a gross fake sweet flavor. These are perfect for when I need an afternoon pick me up.

  • I picked up a few cases out of curiosity and honestly didn’t expect much there are a lot of “better-for-you” energy drinks right now that feel more like branding than substance. First, the flavors are actually well done. They’re lighter and cleaner than most energy drinks, not overly sweet or artificial-tasting. I appreciate that the caffeine source is green tea rather than something harsher it gives a more even lift without that jittery edge or crash. It’s subtle but noticeable, especially if you’re sensitive to typical energy drinks. That said, it does sit in a slightly crowded category, and I’m not sure the differentiation is immediately obvious unless you’re paying attention to ingredients and feel. But once you try it, the experience stands out more than the shelf presence. Overall, I’d keep buying it. It’s one of the few in this category that feels genuinely drinkable day-to-day rather than situational.

  • Finally an energy drink that tastes good and is actually good for you. Zero sugar, 5 calories, and 150mg of green tea caffeine with no jitters or crash. The peach tea and watermelon flavors are standouts. Clean ingredients, real energy, and L-theanine for focus. My new daily staple.

  • As far as energy drinks go, it was delicious and I never felt shaky or that it was "too much." I enjoyed the bubble ratio as well! The reason I purchased is because I was intrigued by the 8g of protein. I would not purchase again unless I was having a crash moment and no lattes were in site. For me personally, I love the taste of espresso and coffee too much to go full energy drink. But if you do love energy drinks, I would definitely give this one a try!

  • The powders are a sleeper for this brand, but so good and should get more hype! Mixes really easily and tastes great. Each flavor is great.

  • I like that this has added vitamins B, biotin and L- theanine and the branding is cute, but the the stevia sweetness and aftertaste is a little too much. Those who prefer a sweeter drink and want an energy drink with added benefits might like it.

  • I have tried every single flavor of these energy drinks. My favorite flavor is the green citrus one. A few of them taste like they have a coconut flavor and I don’t like coconut. But all of these flavors are just okay in my opinion. I’ve had quite a few energy drinks but Gorgie are just okay.

  • Gorgie is delicious and my new favorite energy drink. It’s clean energy from green tea caffeine. It is sugar free and contains l-theanine, biotin and b vitamins. They’re delicious and carbonated. I love them over ice. The cans are really cute too. I buy these regularly and love them. They give you a boost of energy without the jitters.

  • Gorgie Sparkling Wild Berry is a natural energy drink that comes in a 12 oz can. Caffeine comes from green tea and energy from L-theanine and B-Vitamins. Only star I removed is for steviol, which is not my favorite sweetener, but the drink itself makes me feel great.

  • It's alright, the taste of the one that I got, Sparkling Citrus Burst, isn't that amazing (still okay though) and took a little to get used to. I think it's good for an energy drink though. I like that it doesn't go crazy with the amount of caffeine and has other vitamins in it. The can is cute too. I'm considering trying another flavor.

  • This is definitely not for me. All the flavors had a kind of weird chemical flavor/tingle and the packaging was cute at first but then it was a little too tacky on the back side. I enjoyed the unboxing with the disco balls; it was very on-brand.

  • it was good... at the beginning, after about 5 sips it is so bitter and literally makes my body shake and cringe. I had high hopes, and i thought they would honestly be good. the flavors are great! and the paradise one tastes like a fruit roll up, but again, they get bitter.

  • The packaging was adorable and that was the best the about the product. I’m not sure if it is really different from other energy drinks on the market but the flavors and packaging does make the purchase worth it. I wouldn’t necessarily buy again, but also I have nothing bad to say about this product too.

  • I’ve tried multiple flavors of this and they’re all just ok. There are so many options of this kind of drink, so I just don’t think I would go with this one. All of the ones I’ve tried were “meh”, I would not repurchase.

  • Bought this for Thingtesting review. I bought the Tropical Punch and the Peach Tea. Both the flavors were good. Standout taste. These are energy drinks with vitamins, biotin, 0 sugar, L-Theanine. Their goal is to make healthy drinks and good energy. I would buy again. Love the colors for the cans.

  • The watermelon flavor hits hard like a Jolly Rancher, but in a good way. I just wasn’t expecting it to have that much flavor! It has no sugar yet it’s a bit on the sweeter side. There is a very slight aftertaste that didn’t bother me because other than that it was refreshing and really hit the spot. It has biotin, 150 mg green tea caffeine to perk you up and L-Theanine to help with focus and clarity. It’s good stuff!

  • As a guy, I am admittedly not the target audience for Gorgie. Still, I can't see what the attraction is. I tried two different flavors—Mango Tango and Peachy Keen—and found them to be relatively "blah." The initial sip was good, but left a strong metallic aftertaste that only got stronger as I drank more of the liquid. In terms of energy, I can't say it gave me any significant boost, though I certainly didn't feel sleepy or groggy after drinking either flavor. In short, neither version wowed me in any way: with all the other flavorful competitors out there, I won't be trying Gorgie again.

  • I can't say I have energy drinks on a regular basis, but this brand is a lot better than the few other ones I've tried. The watermelon crush flavor specifically is refreshing and doesn't have a gross aftertaste like most energy drinks.
