Reviews mention

  • Compliment-magnet signature fragrance
  • Seamless, buildable cream blush
  • Natural, defining brow gel
  • Gentle, lightweight cleanser
  • Inconsistent shade inclusivity
  • Sheer, short-lasting formulas
  • Fragile, leaky packaging
  • Variable scent longevity

Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

  • I've tried numerous Glossier products over the years. My absolutely favorite one is their SPF. It is incredible. Loved it.

I don't get too excited about their Balm Dot Com...feels like it's just the same quality as vaseline...at a $24 price point 😩

  • Glossier is one of those brands that once you take the plunge and get the products, I think most people will really love them. If you are looking for a full glam look, this isn't the brand for you. It is very much a clean, no-makeup makeup brand

The liquid blushes are really wonderful, a little goes a long way and they last forever!

  • This brand is adorable and addictive. And one of the only makers of a non-comedogenic bronzer I could find!! I can't do any pore blocking products due to lovely adult acne and Glossier knocked it out of the park with their solar paints for such an affordable price. I also adore their lip glosses and scented balms (the rose makes me feel like pure beauty). Big, big fan!

  • Have tried a lot of glossier, only product I think is A game changer is boy brow. Otherwise, I’ve found it’s pretty average.

  • Glossier has slowly been trying to work its way back into the mainstream and has started to gain some traction once more with an influx of physical stores allowing people to begin to try products in person and purchase them. I was able to purchase a few products in store and really enjoyed them.

When it comes to Glossier and their products they cater to those who want that no-makeup makeup look. If you're looking for something heavier than that maybe steer clear of Glossier complexion products. Glossier continues to have a poor shade range which is unfortunate. I don't think I will repurchase Glossier products considering there are a plethora of products now that fill the same market as Glossier which are readily available without all of the unfortunate baggage that Glossier totes around.

  • Boybrow is unparalleled. I haven't tried any of their skincare but I find the makeup is meh. There are better products out there.

I wish boybrow came in a bigger tube, I'm constantly having to buy a new one and I wish shipping to Canada was easier!

  • I went in store at the Soho location in 2019 for my first (and last) purchase. The products were by no means bad, I just did not find them to live up to the hype that surrounded them. Great price point for the items though!

  • I have and will continue to love Glossier for years. The brand ethos is so unique and they started a big trend of simple makeup in the beauty industry. My absolute favorite products are lash slick, Glossier You (so ahead of its time), cloud paint, super pure, and ultralip.

The sunscreen and priming moisturizer would be great, but they have added fragrance which keeps me away from repurchasing. I also think the scent of the body oil wash smells like old cooking oil.

  • I love glossiest original line of products but the newer ones can be hit and miss. Balm dot calm and boy brow are great basics

    Bring back old colors

  • I've been a tried and true Glossier customer for years. Their products are fantastic for the minimal look, but also buildable as desired. They're simple in the best way, and are perfect for everyday use. Some favorites include cloud pain, generation g lip, ultralip, boy brow, balm dot com, and glossier you fragrance.

One thing I think could be improved a bit more is the shade range. The complexion products in their line are limited, including about 10-15 shades, vs some of the more inclusive brands which can include upwards of 40-50.

  • What you get depends on what you want from this brand. There are other products, that aren't as expensive, that do really similar things at this point in time. Those products are also frequently easier to access (although Glossier is coming to Sephora). Their classics are super solid (Cloud Paint, Gen G lipstick, the mascara), but again, they aren't as unique as they once were. I believe most products will perform in a low impact, but easy to use way, which may be what most of their customers are looking for. The customer support has always been top notch for me.

I miss the Glossier Play line! Bring back a little bit of fun, easy to wear color.

  • Used the invisible shield sunscreen. Really enjoyed it, super lightweight

    Feedback

Pricey compared to other sunscreens on the market. Hard to test products with lack of brick and mortar stores

  • I like their minimalistic approach and they have some genuinely great products but I think their color selection is too narrow

  • I love the glossier cream blush and highlighters. I have had my blush for YEARS and there's still a lot of product in it. And, over all these years the quality and pigment is just as good as the first time.

    Feedback

I wish it was available at other retailers that are more accessibl.e

  • Love the branding and the feel of the products but many can be substituted easily with drug store brands. That being said, I have yet to find a comparable boy brow dupe!

    Feedback

    Wider range of products

  • I like their cleansers, blush, sunscreen, and eyebrow gel. They work, but they need to expand from the DTC model, because I find shopping exclusively for beauty products on just their website inconvenient.

    Feedback

    Expand to more platforms.

  • Love how affordable and inclusive this brand is! Most folks can definitely find a shade and product for them based on their skin type and tone.

  • I have used the balm dot com, the boy brow, and the cloud paint. The balm is fine, but is honestly nothing special. I lost it and won’t purchase a replacement. The boy brow made my brows stiff; I prefer the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow freeze. I do use the cloud paint for my cheeks regularly; it’s an unusual product but I like the flush it gives. The pink packaging it is delivered in seems fun but isn’t sturdy enough for many re-uses (at least in my experience).

    Feedback

    Less wasteful packaging.

  • Love this brand! Small lineup of beauty products and they are all great. My fav is their perfume. Highly recommend.
