Overall, I found their products to be extremely average. For the price, I expected better quality.

They’re okay. I like that you can customize to your hair type but I felt it was very drying and stripped my already dry hair of moisture. I always used way more conditioner than shampoo but that is to be expected for longer hair.

Ordering Function of Beauty is a fun, well designed, customized experience. You feel like your needs are met when answering the questionnaire. That said, I did not notice any differences in my hair, and none of the problems I wanted to fix were solve. I also have their curl cream which doesn't do a whole lot. Everything smells nice and looks good though.

My family and I love to use these products. They do what they say they are going to do. I feel like I've gotten my hair done at a salon, after using these products. I give them a 5/5. The products smell great too.

I liked the hair serum but found the shampoo and conditioner to be really stripping. I do like the personalization of it but in terms of formula I do not think these are anything to write home about.

These are okay. I have combination hair with it being oily and dry. I know these are customizable and maybe I just didn’t get the best product for my hair but I wasn’t a huge gain. Smells good though!

I’ve used the function of beauty conditioner with Argan oil and I didn’t have a bad a experience. I enjoyed the scent and product feel but it didn’t offer my 4C hair any moisturizing benefits that would make me repurchase.

Purchased the Wavy shampoo and conditioner from Target and used the shine and deep condition shots. It smelled very nice and I loved the packaging but unfortunately it was a struggle to de tangle my hair with the conditioner as there wasn’t enough slip and once my hair was dry it felt brittle. I tried it on my daughter’s hair too and it had the same effect.

i got the wavy hair customizable set from target and it was a great value. i don’t know if i chose the wrong additives but it didn’t do a whole lot for my hair.

Didn't work well at all for me and just weighed down my hair. I didn't see any improvement in my hair even though it was supposed to be customized for what I was looking for. More expensive than it's worth.

Fun concept, mediocre products for the price. They are a lot more accessible now that they're sold in Target.

I tried the Function of Beauty because of the fun personalized beauty goals not to mention the personalized shower bottles with my name on them. Although I loved the customization feature I don't believe it did much for my hair. I wanted to get more moisture and growth in my hair but personally, this product was overpriced. I would not invest in it again.

It was ok but it wasn’t effective for what it claimed to do (fuller hair). Ended up going back to my own shampoo.

I like how they personalize hair care products for you. I tried it once at a friends' house and liked it so much I wanted to get some for myself. It is the versatility for me!

I liked the experience of customising my own shampoo and conditioner however the final product did not live up to the promises of the marketing. I have oily hair and ordered products to target that area of concern but did not feel like it made any difference to the oiliness of my hair.

The concept is cool and the packaging is lovely. I like how customisable it is. Unfortunately, though, the product is just not that good. It leaves a lot of build-up and I didn't really notice any difference. It's quite expensive for what ends up being kinda average haircare. I know you're paying for the customisation, but I'd rather go buy a product that I need that's designed for a certain use. It also has a lot of chemicals in it/

Doing the quiz is really fun, and I love being able to customize scent and colour. The product itseld is really great, and my hair felt great.

The product looks and smells amazing but the additions are not worth the money. The shampoo left my hair feeling dry and the conditioner left my hair greasy and it did not look good. Would not recommend to anyone especially curly haired girles.
