Pricey but quality and sustainable. I find all their items have a smoky flavor, which is not everyone's bag but I think it pairs nicely with certain dishes.

Always delicious. We've tried multiple types of fish and more times than not we end up making each tinned fish the centerpiece of what we're making - they are that good.

First of all, the packaging is beautiful so their branding is definitely on point. As for the fish itself, it really is tasty and seems high quality. It’s maybe a touch expensive for what it is, but still worth it for an occasional purchase. I’m all for any brand that makes tinned fish seem glamorous.

Fishwife tinned fish is so good! The smoked tuna and salmon have really great flavor for eating on their own or in a recipe. Fishwife has lots of recipes on their website and Instagram. The fish seems high quality and has a nice, flaky texture. Fishwife's colorful branding is also amazing. Maybe my favorite branding of anything, ever. If you order from their website, the shipping tape and packing tissue is even adorned with Fishwife illustrations!

Fishwife smoked tuna.. run don't walk, it is so delicious! You can literally eat it out of the can with a fork, and it instantly elevates your previously boring tuna sandwich.

I am truly speechless. YUM. Salty, briney, goodness all wrapped in a perfect-sized tin (housed in the most adorable of boxes). This incredible seafood is the perfect solution for any fellow pescatarians who struggle to find easy (yummy) on-the-go lunch. Make it the side or main entree, the choices are infinite.

Truly top-notch branding, and so tasty - I get a little flutter in my tum every time I see them pop up on my IG feed. I wonder, "Is Fishwife finally coming to a grocery store near me?" Alas, not yet. The price (especially with shipping) keeps me from becoming a regular customer, but will I continue putting it on holiday/birthday wishlists? Yes. Do I own a Fishwife t-shirt? Yes. Do I keep the boxes because they are so dang cute? Yes. Am I recording their episode on Shark Tank tomorrow? Yes.

I’M OBSESSED WITH THIS BRAND. I’ve been a fan of the founder, Caroline Goldfarb, since I discovered her podcast Glowing Up (heyy Glowmies ) and bought a sh*t ton of tinned fish at launch. To me this is a purchase about fun packaging and trying something new—I never would have eaten tinned fish before discovering Fishwife which justifies the price for me!

Honestly I love fishwife...my favorite snack to offer guests is any of their tinned fish with some creme fraiche, chives, lemon zest, and a potato chip. So very good. And ethically sourced! If I could afford to, I would eat this every day.

I must say I am disappointed. I expected this fish to be beyond good. It is a bit dry and too salty. These little tins cost $10 to $13 dollars EACH. Ridiculous. I am so tired of companies claiming to be all ethical and great only to deliver a mediocre product. ALSO, at this price, the fish should be wild-caught (which is what I expected). If it were wild-caught, it would say so. Only says "Atlantic Salmon" or Rainbow Trout" So you know damn well it is farmed. BOO to FishWife! I just wasted a lot of money. Save your money, people, don´t be fooled.

I bought their smoked salmon with Sichuan chili crisp and it was so delicious! I loved the design of the package and I know I’ll be able to recognize it right away as Fishwife when I’m on the hunt for tin fish.

Found fishwife at am amazing, well curated provisional store by me and the bright colorful packaging jumped out at me. Because you can never have enough tin fish in your cabinet, grabbed some to include in my dinner that night and you can absolutely taste the freshness from each tin. Wasn't overloaded with oil either and the color of the fish was super rich. Amazing taste, can't wait to try the rest of the line

Loved the taste, packaging, and the really unique markets they sell at in LA. You could call me a sustainability omnivore. Meaning I'll eat meat if it meets a very high standard of sustainable farming (such as regenerative). There was basically no real info on where they source their fish so I wrote them to ask. I heard back within 48 hours with a full breakdown and I was really impressed. I just wish they showed this on their website or press material. It definitely deserves a 5 rating but I am aware that this isn't an accessible product from a cost perspective. I realize it's probably low margin due to the quality of the product but I hope there's a future where anyone can afford this.

The smoked trout is delicious, the tuna has great flavor but can be a little dry.

Love the packaging so much that I had to buy, but then I tasted it and was just as impressed!!

They charge nearly $10 for shipping, it’s been 4 days since I placed my order and they haven’t sent it out yet. It’s Saturday and I’m tired of waiting around so I’m canceling my order.

I am a true lover of tinned fish and I was SO excited to try Fishwife. I've had every single product and love them all! It's the best tinned fish around (also it's just so fun to look at, amazing branding). My favorite is the smoked tuna, I literally cannot eat another type of tuna because it simply doesn't compare. The Fly by Jing collaboration is also incredible, with the perfect amount of spice. Love that the website has a ton of recipes, too.

As a jew, i eat a ton of fish and more specifically tuna fish / tinned fish. I have tried several brands over the years but they were all more or less the same. Fishwife caught my eye with the really beautiful branding and i decided to give it a try. I ordered the smoked tuna to start and was blown away. Since then, I make sure to stay stocked on all the smokey trio and love love the Fly By Jing flavor.

The canned fish community will never be the same now that these guys are in the mix. The salmon and tuna are top notch and the Fly by Jing collab was one of my favorites. Can't wait to continue adding this to my lunch/dinner rotation.
