Is Fishwife good? According to reviews, Fishwife is generally highly rated, with many customers praising the brand for its quality and delicious flavors. Key strengths include its appealing packaging and commitment to ethical sourcing. However, a notable weakness is its high price point, which some customers feel is not justified by the quantity provided. Overall, Fishwife is a recommended choice for those looking for a premium tinned fish experience, but prospective buyers should be mindful of the cost.
My favorite is the smoked rainbow trout. I like freshwater fish, since they will contain less mercury. The albacore tuna is really tasty, but it is an occasional treat. There are other brands of tinned fish I like much better TBH. This is also quite expensive.
You can definitely taste the quality in the fish here. I really like buying them as a gift to incorporate in baskets or goodie bags. They are pricey but worth it IMO. They also go on sale often at my local grocery store so I try and keep an eye out for that.
Until I tried Fishwife, I can accurately say that canned fish was not something I craved. Now? Well, let's say whenever I see any of the salmon ones at the grocery...in the cart they go. SO GOOD and a great addition to any charcuterie board. 10 out of 10 will leave you wanting more.
