Reviews mention

  • Expansive, inclusive shade range
  • High-pigment, long-wear lip formulas
  • Silky, natural-finish skin tint
  • Elegant, distinctive packaging
  • Dry-textured contour sticks
  • Matte foundation emphasizes dryness
  • Glittery, chunky highlighters
  • Leaky, messy gloss packaging

Fenty Beauty earns strong reviews for inclusive shade ranges and high-performing staples like Gloss Bombs, Stunna Lip Paint, Eaze Drop skin tints, bronzers, and long-wear setting powders, indicating the brand is good for many users. Weak points appear across dryness or blendability of Match Stix and Pro Filt’r Matte on dry skin, overly glittery or patchy highlighters/eyeshadows, scent-heavy skincare, and occasional packaging messes or leaking, so results vary by formula and skin type.

  • I was so so excited for Fenty Beauty, but it feels like the quality dropped significantly after the second round of products was released. I still use my Fenty highlighter, but that's about it. The complexion stick never blended very well, and the foundation oxidized too much. The lipsticks came in fun colours, but dried out quickly. The liquid matte lipsticks were good when they were first released, but my most recent purchase of the pinky-beige shade was never as good as the original red.

  • Absolutely stunning shades. The makeup artist at a wedding I was in was using fenty and I was shocked by the long wear of it. Really quality products and not outrageously priced for what you’re getting.

  • RiRi can do no wrong. I’ve tried just about every foundation under the sun but nothing in 20 years has compared to my cult fav….until Fenty.

  • Love that we have so. Any shades !!!and the formula helps make up stay together all day long!

  • loved the original pro filter foundation when i was an oily girl but i found their concealer to be really drying and flakey. love the highlights

  • their gloss are really great but the packaging can be better because the gloss leaks when it is not stand up (for example in a bag)

  • Matte lip products are super long lasting and the colors are flattering on me in a way many comparable products have not been, especially the reds!

  • The highlighters are amazing! Last for so long and the design makes them super easy to throw in your bag. Every Fenty product I get has real color that lasts.

  • They have one of the best red lipsticks ever. But I totally dislike their foundation…

  • I have tried several Fenty products and love them all! I keep repurchasing the bronzer especially. It blends well and is a great color for my skin tone.

  • There is no flaws in this brand. They have product that are so healing for the skin.

  • Not every product works on my skin type (dry, sensitive), but I love love love the lip glosses and highlighters—they make me shine! ✨

  • Fat water essence has done wonders for my skin! It has a great scent and beautiful packaging. Tried it for the great reviews. I was breaking out frequently due to my PCOS, but after consistent use of Fat water essence (together with other new products) I found my skin brighter and more supple without the irritation.

  • I've repurchased the powder foundation because it provides just the right amount of coverage, is super buildable, and is the ONLY foundation that doesn't sink into my pores. I also love the Fenty lipsticks, especially the Universal Red which looks good on everyone.

Not all products are created equal. While I personally never had a bad experience, some products in the Fenty lines are less good than others...but that goes for all beauty brands.

  • Have yet to buy something from fenty that I don't love. Formulas are excellent, and speak for themselves (this is not always the case with celebrity beauty companies...). Love and will continue to purchase.

  • I've used the concealer and liquid eyeliner. Loved both! It's out of my rotation now, but I could see myself going back someday.

  • The brand is made for someone with oily skin-- which is not what I have so the products interacted with my skin negatively. And the smell was overpowering.

Create for more skin types-- and create an unscented verision.

  • Really inclusive in terms of marketing and shade ranges. Favorites are their match stix and the funky highlighter duos.
