FabFitFun draws polarized reviews: enthusiasts praise the full‑size variety, occasional stand‑out boxes, and early customization for annual members, while many report declining product quality, repetitive skincare, and poor alignment to preferences. Reviews indicate the brand can deliver fun discoveries and durable keepers (blankets, bags), but frequent stockouts during customization, leftovers for seasonal members, damaged or duplicate items, and inconsistent customer service erode trust.

  • Horrible service. I clicked one of the social media ads but thought better of it and didn't actually finalize the order for the first box and cancelled the subscription. They still ended up charging me later, and sent a box full of cheap and useless crap. Spent a lot of time with CS that after extensive irritation offered a partial refund. Learned that they never cancelled anything and planned to keep charging me. This is a shameless scam. Avoid.

  • This company is a SCAM. I signed up as an annual member to be able to customize my box first, since they advertise "Early Access to Customize!" WHAT A JOKE!! I logged on to customize today, the first day of customizing for annual subscribers, and literally half the items for item #1 choice are already unavailable. What is the point of subscribing as an annual member to have "early access to customize" if they items I want aren't even available on the very first day of customization?! Because this company is a scam. Fabfitfun's customer service is unbelievable and unprofessional, but no big surprise there. I chatted with them asking for a refund because their annual subscription promises are incredibly misleading and they just cut me off and exited the chat without even resolving my issue.

  • Ladies, please stay away from this service. It sends you crud, literally crud that no one else buys and then gets sent to them. You fill out a profile but it doesn't matter as they don't go off that profile anyway. I received items for a very dark complexion and I am blonde with super light complexion so I literally can't use the items so I paid $75 for nothing. A water bottle, some travel bags things, 2 dollar store nail polishes and a bar of soap. It's ridiculous. AND they do not allow returns or offer you a return. They say you can pay for it to return it to them and they may credit your account after they receive it but it's on your own dime to return. Be aware, this isn't a great service. I truly believe they send you stuff that noone else buys at the stores. AND I have not ever delt with a store, online or in person that does not have a return policy. Crud products with an even cruddier no return policy. You can easily find products you like as trial sizes at Nordstrom, Sephora or Ulta and not have to waste your money on a bunch of other silly things you will not use. When calling Customer Service, they told me to regift the box for the holidays. I would never give anyone these products. Stay Away and save your money!

  • I use to LOVE FFF and was so excited to try again five years later however, I opened my package today and the eye cream was spattered everywhere (aka the cap wasn’t screwed on when they packaged it originally), so I had to toss it when I opened my box. Also, the face serum has a pump that doesn’t work and seems like it’s been used and it’s on its last leg- haven’t gotten to use it- another non useable item I paid for. I waited 2 ish weeks for my box and was super excited for this box just to find out my favorite products were non useable. Not cool. Not fab, non fun. Do better…

  • It’s never anything I like. I signed up b/c they advertise such cute things but a lot of them are add ons for extra money. So many things are sold out so there’s not a lot to choose from. I often end up with a bunch of skin care that I’ll never use. I think it’s a huge waste of money. It’s so disappointing. Also, just b/c something is valued at a higher price point doesn’t make it worth it. Often the quality of certain items is lacking. For the Fall 24 box I received a Radley London jewelry box valued at $98, it’s flimsy and a step up from cardboard. It feels like FFF is a scam. I canceled my subscription and still receive boxes so now I have to follow up with customer service. Subscribe with caution.

  • I have had a subscription with FabFitFun for four years now. The boxes used to be awesome really great products totally made the price worth it. They were great! BUT All my boxes from 2023 and this year are not up to par from previous years and I have disliked almost every box I’ve gotten. I have an annual member and can choose the majority of my box, but the options are lame and all are so similar like how many face washes and face lotions and face serums can one human need! Also don’t select the mystery item for any of your selections because they’ll send you something. You literally just got in your box last month. I’m honestly starting to get upset about it. They Used to have more variety in products they send but it for sure not a thing these days. Things that I don’t need. I’m totally canceling my membership due to the fact of a year and a half of disappointing boxes and options and after I just received my most recent box I was talking to four of my friends who live across the country with the same membership who also told me they’re having the same experience and feelings about the box as well and are also canceling theirs. It’s really a bummer because their boxes used to be awesome.

  • Why do u bait & switch? A year of FabFitFun and I got the WORST products. Nothing I wanted or cd use. When I complained because the last box had RICOLA COUGH DROPS my choice was a $25 credit to spend on more useless crap or get a surprise box. The surprise was that it was no surprise—a cheap blanket STOP CONNING PEOPLE!!

  • BE AWARE.....this company continues to have billing issues let alone sub par products. They continue to get worse. I cancelled my membership in 2023 prior to annual renewal. Not only did they bill my expired credit card they charged for products that I didn't order. I spend hours with my credit card and communication with the company to get issues resolved. All I can say is SAVE ALL your communication with them since you'll need to dispute charges.

  • The boxes seem to get a little repetitive after a few years of getting them. I really love learning about all the new products, so there was a great variety of choices, but I think changing it up more often would make me stay and spend the money for the subscription!

  • My husband purchased this for me for Christmas. after christmas, he asked me if I had seen any emails or had received anything. I had not. we contacted the company and they couldn't find any information on us except that we had paid. they said they would call us back in 20 minutes and never did. I followed back up and they said they call us back and 2 days later, they did said they were still looking into it. I asked if I should cancel my chargers on my credit card. And they jumped on it and said sure. Sorry it didn't workout. so disappointing. The company doesn't seem to care about their customers. And I asked us to speak someone in custom management. And nobody ever contacted me. I would stay clear of this company. They only care for the bottom dollar.

  • Signed up to order the winter box which came with a free mystery box. No winter items in my winter box. Both boxes together didn't value what one box is supposed to. All I received were a bunch of useless plastic garbage. Can't express how disappointing this purchase was. Huge rip off. Hoping getting a refund is more satisfying.

  • Have yet to receive any items. But do NOT leave items you are considering in your cart. They WILL charge your account on file without checking out. BEWARE

    None
  • What a joke..winter box is full of junk basically . 2 glasses, laundry bag a yoga block and a few make up pieces..I am guessing because I cancelled my subscription and this was my final box I got leftovers

  • I received a trial box from a friend. Thought I was paying for shipping, ended up charging me the full total.

  • FFF boxes have gotten sad the only stuff worth getting now is the skin care, all the other selections for customizations look cheap and low quality. They don’t have any of the good quality stuff like they used to when I had this subscription 2 years ago. If you do want anything worth while you have to get it in the flash sales but as for what you get in your subscription box, it has become lackluster. If I had known it was like this now I wouldn’t have signed back up for an annual subscription but this was my last box & I'm definitely not renewing ever again.

    Customer
  • Beware! If you put anything in your shopping cart, and leave it, you bought it! They charge your card. SHADY!!

  • Stay away. If it seems to be good true, it probably is. You maybe get a couple good items (if that) and the rest is junk. Also, view their shop and add ANYTHING to your cart and don’t remove or check out, don’t worry they will check out for you! Then you will get surprised with a charge on your account. Literally had a couple dollar face mask in my cart I didn’t remove and it auto shipped and charged me $8 shipping . Customer service is useless.

  • Talk about a bummer. I got the annual subscription a few years ago and loved it. I just re upped and got another annual subscription and I bought it when the option to edit the box was CLOSED. A while later I receive a box of whatever they had leftover including hair care products and I AM A BALD WOMAN. I was so ticked. Then to make it "better" they send me a box of absolute shit. Really sad because I remember loving this subscription and now I'm stuck getting 3 more boxes of crap. Do not buy. Their golden years are over and they suck now.

  • I have been with them for a number of years because the Edit sales can be good. A box or 2 a year will stand out but they keep raising their prices and the quality hasn't improved. The shipping has always been horrible. By chance I found out they were over taxing me for FOUR YEARS and must have just pocketed the money. My state doesn't have state tax for apparel and although I have brought it up NUMEROUS times they have never refunded me. They have emailed that I would earn credit when they were out of an item...I would never receive. They guaranteed FedEx would ship out my boxes and that wouldn't occur either. A lot of words and promises to get you in the door but no customer service to actually keep you.

  • Has anyone else received damaged product in their box, and when you reach out to the CS team they credit you WAY under value? My spring box, my spoon holder was broken when I got my box, they under credited me for the flash sale. I let it go then, took my credit and moved on. Fall box; the eyeshadow pallet I picked came completely shattered. This was valued on FFF site at $42, they gave me a $10 credit to use towards their end sale. So either FFF's site is way over valuing their products, or they're benefiting off their customers inconvenience. Through the years, they have declined in quality of products. I signed up for the annual package, but will not be renewing next year. Please, if you're considering signing up with them. Beware of fragile items. You will be wasting your money.
