  • Misleading. Hoping to save on a vet appt. My dog is allergic to fleas and picked one up. Bought a month membership only to find out after purchase that I can not get his allergy med refilled or the flea pill that works for months. He is behind on his vaccinations by one year and hasn't seen his vet within one year which they require. So now I've got to save for vaccinations, prescription refill and flea meds on top of the check up appt. That's going to be around $500. I make minimum wage and thought Dutch would be something I could afford. And no refund as of 5 months ago even though I didn't see a vet. They made $35 for nothing. Thanks Dutch. Maybe advertise honestly taking people's money that took them almost 3 hours of work to make and you took in a matter of a couple minutes.

  • This is by far the best experience and best offer for anybody that needs to care for their elderly pet that was running out of his pain meds and on top of that issue our veterinarian retired WITHOUT FILLING OUR Prescription AND EVERY SINGLE HOSPITAL AND PET VET THAT WE WOULD CONTACT SAID THEY WEREN'T TAKING NEW CUSTOMERS OR IT WOULD BE WEEKS BEFORE THEY COULD GET US IN AND WE ONLY HAD TWO DAYS LEFT OF HIS MEDS .THERE WERE NO OPTIONS! EVEN PETCO WAS GOING TO REQUIRE MY DOG TO GET A RABIES VACCINATION WHEN HE'S ALREADY HAD ONE LAST YEAR. BUT IT HAD JUST EXPIRED A WEEK AGO.SO THEY WANTED ME TO GET ANOTHER ONE , THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK. THAT IS SOMETHING THAT they require in ORDER TO GET THE APPOINTMENT FOR THE MEDICINE. SO IT'S RIDICULOUS! IT'S ACTUALLY A BIG SCAM TO PIN PEOPLE IN TO BUYING MEDS THAT SHOULD BE READILY AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE THAT NEED TO CARE FOR THEIR ELDERLY PETS. ANYWAY, SORRY ... LONG STORY SHORT. DUTCH WAS AMAZING. I WAS ABLE TO PAY FOR A MONTH SUBSCRIPTION FOR A LOW COST OF $35 AND I DID A TELEHEALTH VISIT AND THE VET WAS WONDERFUL. The same day I paid for the subscription was the same day of our tele health virtual appointment . SHE CALLED IN MY PRESCRIPTION TO COSTCO AND WE WERE ABLE TO PICK UP A WHOLE BOTTLE OF NEW MEDS FOR my best friend. HE IS ALMOST 13 NOW, HE'S A 60 LB PITBULL MIX AND HIS BODY IS STARTING TO GIVE OUT ON HIM. THIS SERVICE IF ANYBODY IS WONDERING, IT IS SO WORTH IT.. THANK YOU SO MUCH DUTCH. And anyone who is complaining about them being a scam, is ridiculous. It would be because they did not cancel the subscription properly. I was able to cancel my subscription without issues online . So if people would follow through with cancellation, they wouldn't be charged. But people feel it necessary to bit*h about issues they could have prevented in the first place. Rimadyl was the Rx I needed. I was able to get a generic version for half the cost of the name brand. But please understand if you want to avoid the confusion and frustration associated with taking a pet in to a vet for a Rx, this will work for you. . I do appreciate them, so much.

  • My dog puked in the car and my trainer advised me to go to the vet. No blood in the puke. It was Saturday and her normal vet doesn't work weekends. It seemed excessive to go to the emergency room for what looked like motion sickness so I booked a vet advice call to check my head within 45 minutes of the puke and monitored her for any additional symptoms and got her to drink. I got Dr. Noel Berger. he was late to the call and immediately had a negative tone. He said my camera wasn't on when it definitely was and when I asked him what I should do because I knew my camera was on he said I shouldn't have booked a call I needed to get her to a in person vet. He refused to explain his rationale and hung up on me. When I messaged him asking him to explain his rationale because it didn't make sense, I've had dogs for years and sometimes they get queasy and puke in the car and I'd never had someone say they needed to go to the ER for that before so it was really weird. He accused me of harassment and refused to answer. I have not met a vet who was worse at customer service or explaining concepts. It was a very unpleasant experience. All the other vets are amazing, it's unfortunate Dutch made the choice to hire this guy.

Being able to book a same-day video appointment from home when my dog wasn't feeling well was so convenient - I didn't have to stress about getting him to the clinic. The vet visit went smoothly over video chat. I was also happy with how fast Dutch delivered the medication the vet prescribed. It arrived within a few days.

  • Our pup struggles with allergies which usually leads to frequent vet visits. It’s great to have access to telehealth appointments because he also gets nervous whenever we have to take him to a clinic. Ordering medicine from Dutch is also quick and easy. Definitely recommend!

  • Very good experience. I needed more appetite stimulant and nausea meds for my dog who is having tummy trouble. No problem. Dr also prescribed some Flagyl for me to have on hand if we need it. I am fully impressed with my interaction with Dutch. I did not need the medicine immediately so I can not speak to shipping issues, but I did see where I could have paid for the medication to be overnight if I'd needed that. For me, and what we needed, this is service was excellent and most welcome to this multiple dog household.

The Vet at Dutch was very professional and kind. I got the meds for the eye infection at Costco. The service is very affordable and website is easy to use.

I have 3 dogs and going to the vet can be quite a hassle as I usually take them separately. The Vet we had was amazing and surprisingly responsive. The platform is lovely and very easy to use to book appointments. I can’t say enough about what a life changing experience this was for my busy schedule. I highly recommend Dutch for anyone with pets.

  • Okay, Dutch vets? Rockstars. Easy video chats, quick diagnoses, and zero awkward car rides with a puking pup? Sign me up. But the pharmacy... well, let's just say they wouldn't win a race against a snail. Shipping took forever, which felt like an eternity when my pup's ears were on fire. Prices were fair, though, not much different from my usual brick-and-mortar joint. So, Dutch gets 4 paws up for the top-notch tele-med, but maybe one paw tucked under the bed for the pokey pharmacy. Overall, a win for convenience, with a little room for improvement on the delivery speed.

  • I really loved the convenience and ease of Dutch when I was a member, the plan covered both of my dogs and made prescription refills and visits for minor issues a breeze. Unfortunately, after a few months I decided to cancel as other companies like Chewy and Petsmart didn't accept prescriptions from Dutch and shipping from Dutch's own pharmacy was slow.
