Reviews mention

  • Convenient same-day video consultations
  • Compassionate, knowledgeable veterinarians
  • Stress-free at-home pet care
  • Clear, actionable treatment plans
  • Chronic medication shipping delays
  • Clunky, unreliable website interface
  • Inflexible auto-refill management
  • Occasional missed or late appointments

Dutch earns polarized reviews: its tele-vet care generally works—same-day video appointments, clear treatment plans, and successful prescriptions to local pharmacies—yet persistent pharmacy and platform failures undermine trust. Reviews praise convenient at-home consults and compassionate, knowledgeable vets, but cite missing or delayed medications (even with rush), no-shows, clunky UX, aggressive auto-refills, limited state prescribing, and poor follow-up—serious drawbacks if pets need timely treatment.

  • Well me and my wife are both deathly sick so we we're trying not to have to take our dog to the vet since all of us were sick and on their app it said that they could help but once the doctor messaged me she said that there was probably nothing they would be able to do and I would have to go to my vet. I paid for a one-year membership and tried to cancel it immediately as they were no help for what I needed and they refuse a refund. They do not offer any refund. Complete joke scam of a company. They don't care about people only cash complete B's

  • I wanted to purchase something for my cats, and discovered a membership for advice from a vet was also in my cart. I didn't put it there and I can't delete it. So I didn't continue with the purchase. Don't use them. That seems shakey.

  • Utterly Disappointed – Poor Service and Complete Lack of Communication I wish I could give Dutch.com zero stars. My experience with this company has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing I’ve ever encountered. To anyone considering using their services: proceed with extreme caution. Here's why: 1. Abysmal Communication: Before making my payment, Dutch.com was responsive and seemed eager to address all my questions. However, the moment my payment was processed, they disappeared. I have sent numerous emails and messages through their platform, but weeks later, I still haven’t received a single response. It’s as if they’ve vanished into thin air. This blatant disregard for their customers’ concerns is inexcusable. 2. Zero Accountability: Once they have your money, they appear to have no interest in fulfilling their promises. I tried every avenue to get in touch—email, their contact form, even social media—but I’ve been completely ignored. It’s as though they deliberately avoid clients after taking their payment. 3. Misleading Practices: Dutch.com promotes itself as a reliable and customer-focused service, but my experience couldn’t have been further from that. Their actions (or lack thereof) are alarmingly close to what I’d describe as deceptive practices. A company that neglects its clients after payment should not be trusted. 4. Lack of Transparency: There is no clear way to escalate concerns. No phone number to call, no live chat support, and clearly, no intention to address issues. How can a company expect to retain customers or build trust when they refuse to provide even basic customer support? 5. Unresolved Issues: Despite paying in full, I’ve received no updates, no communication, and no sign that they are working on delivering what was promised. This is not just poor service—it borders on being a scam. Final Thoughts: Dutch.com’s complete lack of response and failure to address their clients’ concerns makes them untrustworthy and unreliable. They seem more focused on taking payments than providing any level of service or support. I urge anyone considering using their services to think twice. You deserve a company that values you as a client—not one that takes your money and then ghosts you. If Dutch.com chooses to resolve my issues or respond in a timely manner, I will happily update this review. But until then, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

  • Amazing service for non-emergency issues. Our dog gets UTIs. Hard to schedule visit with regular vet... They want to schedule in the middle of the day, pay $150 vet visit just to walk in, do a pee test, blood work and medical waste charge. Then with prescription you end up paying $350-$400. I was able to get a next day telehealth appt with Dr. Scanlon. She was great. Quick, easy, painless and extremely affordable! Even with annual membership and script, I saved hundreds of dollars and my dog did not get all worked up having to be in the vets office. Highly recommend!!!!

  • As a person with multiple pets and a colony of feral/stray cats, this is a valuable tool for us. Signed up, had appt the next morning, Dr Afaz was kind, patient and informative. Meds are on the way.

  • The vet visit was easy to scheduled and attend. However, the vet visit is basically a vet telling you to go to your real vet if you want real care...but they do prescribe meds. The problem comes in actually getting your meds. I placed the med order for my dog immediately after the vet visit and got the confirmation email. I paid for expedited shipping and then heard nothing for days. When I finally inquired, they said my dog's birthdate had not been entered (even though it is a required field I completed when I set my pet up)...and therefore they were holding my prescription. If I hadn't inquired, I would have never known there was a problem. I immediately went back and re-entered my dog's birthdate...it is now 9 days later and her prescription has had a label created...it still has not shipped. My advice is, stay away, go to a regular vet. Yes it costs more...but you truly do get what you pay for.

  • Total BS company. They have no availability on RX vet appointments yet they advertise to have them at any time for any problem. You can have a non RX vet appointment sure. But what is the point of that? Don't waste your money.

  • I signed up for an annual subscription spoke with what I thought was a vet it was a woman in a t-shirt that looks like she just rolled out of bed very unprofessional then I find out they're not allowed to diagnosis or prescribe medications through telehealth so I canceled my subscription and after that you can't send them a message without subscribing and paying for a monthly fee or an annual fee there is no way of getting in touch with them I'm out a hundred and $112 I received the tracking number that UPS has no information about it this happened on May 2nd 2024 and I canceled on May 6th 2024 I've sent them several emails when I was subscribed never received a response never received anything from them just took my money and ran. • Does not provide good customer service. Veterinarian prescribed wrong dosage to my dog. I requested to return the 75 mg pills for either a refund or exchange for a lower dosage of 25 mg. Despite many attempts, they ignored me. I think this company is in the business of dispense/sell pills at any cause without consequences. Very disappointed.

  • I love Dutch, I'm disabled and can't get to a vet with my dog. The dutch vets are awesome, they've been working with me to rid my pup of pyoderma. If you needs meds right away pay the expedited shipping, it's worth it. But if your animal needs it sooner you can get them to set it up to pick up at Walmart or cosco. I ordered meds on Friday. I paid the expedited shipping and it's already here on Monday. Awesome job Dutch, thank you so much!!

  • Misleading. Hoping to save on a vet appt. My dog is allergic to fleas and picked one up. Bought a month membership only to find out after purchase that I can not get his allergy med refilled or the flea pill that works for months. He is behind on his vaccinations by one year and hasn't seen his vet within one year which they require. So now I've got to save for vaccinations, prescription refill and flea meds on top of the check up appt. That's going to be around $500. I make minimum wage and thought Dutch would be something I could afford. And no refund as of 5 months ago even though I didn't see a vet. They made $35 for nothing. Thanks Dutch. Maybe advertise honestly taking people's money that took them almost 3 hours of work to make and you took in a matter of a couple minutes.

  • Thank you very much! Everyone is so friendly and I am very thankful you are available to care for my pets when we need. The hours you are available are wonderful. The vets and customer service team are professional and very thorough.

  • This is by far the best experience and best offer for anybody that needs to care for their elderly pet that was running out of his pain meds and on top of that issue our veterinarian retired WITHOUT FILLING OUR Prescription AND EVERY SINGLE HOSPITAL AND PET VET THAT WE WOULD CONTACT SAID THEY WEREN'T TAKING NEW CUSTOMERS OR IT WOULD BE WEEKS BEFORE THEY COULD GET US IN AND WE ONLY HAD TWO DAYS LEFT OF HIS MEDS .THERE WERE NO OPTIONS! EVEN PETCO WAS GOING TO REQUIRE MY DOG TO GET A RABIES VACCINATION WHEN HE'S ALREADY HAD ONE LAST YEAR. BUT IT HAD JUST EXPIRED A WEEK AGO.SO THEY WANTED ME TO GET ANOTHER ONE , THEN YOU HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK. THAT IS SOMETHING THAT they require in ORDER TO GET THE APPOINTMENT FOR THE MEDICINE. SO IT'S RIDICULOUS! IT'S ACTUALLY A BIG SCAM TO PIN PEOPLE IN TO BUYING MEDS THAT SHOULD BE READILY AVAILABLE FOR PEOPLE THAT NEED TO CARE FOR THEIR ELDERLY PETS. ANYWAY, SORRY ... LONG STORY SHORT. DUTCH WAS AMAZING. I WAS ABLE TO PAY FOR A MONTH SUBSCRIPTION FOR A LOW COST OF $35 AND I DID A TELEHEALTH VISIT AND THE VET WAS WONDERFUL. The same day I paid for the subscription was the same day of our tele health virtual appointment . SHE CALLED IN MY PRESCRIPTION TO COSTCO AND WE WERE ABLE TO PICK UP A WHOLE BOTTLE OF NEW MEDS FOR my best friend. HE IS ALMOST 13 NOW, HE'S A 60 LB PITBULL MIX AND HIS BODY IS STARTING TO GIVE OUT ON HIM. THIS SERVICE IF ANYBODY IS WONDERING, IT IS SO WORTH IT.. THANK YOU SO MUCH DUTCH. And anyone who is complaining about them being a scam, is ridiculous. It would be because they did not cancel the subscription properly. I was able to cancel my subscription without issues online . So if people would follow through with cancellation, they wouldn't be charged. But people feel it necessary to bit*h about issues they could have prevented in the first place. Rimadyl was the Rx I needed. I was able to get a generic version for half the cost of the name brand. But please understand if you want to avoid the confusion and frustration associated with taking a pet in to a vet for a Rx, this will work for you. . I do appreciate them, so much.

  • My dog puked in the car and my trainer advised me to go to the vet. No blood in the puke. It was Saturday and her normal vet doesn't work weekends. It seemed excessive to go to the emergency room for what looked like motion sickness so I booked a vet advice call to check my head within 45 minutes of the puke and monitored her for any additional symptoms and got her to drink. I got Dr. Noel Berger. he was late to the call and immediately had a negative tone. He said my camera wasn't on when it definitely was and when I asked him what I should do because I knew my camera was on he said I shouldn't have booked a call I needed to get her to a in person vet. He refused to explain his rationale and hung up on me. When I messaged him asking him to explain his rationale because it didn't make sense, I've had dogs for years and sometimes they get queasy and puke in the car and I'd never had someone say they needed to go to the ER for that before so it was really weird. He accused me of harassment and refused to answer. I have not met a vet who was worse at customer service or explaining concepts. It was a very unpleasant experience. All the other vets are amazing, it's unfortunate Dutch made the choice to hire this guy.

  • I was really impressed with Dutch's online vet services. Being able to book a same-day video appointment from home when my dog wasn't feeling well was so convenient - I didn't have to stress about getting him to the clinic. The vet visit went smoothly over video chat. I was also happy with how fast Dutch delivered the medication the vet prescribed. It arrived within a few days.

  • I have been working with them for a while now. My orders are always delivered on time. Very professional team and always willing to help.

  • Great product! Worked excellent for my furry friend and will purchase it again for sure !:)

  • I tried Dutch's pet telehealth service and loved it! They quickly delivered medicine and treatments prescribed by the vet right to my door. It was super convenient and efficient. I'd totally recommend Dutch for pet care needs!

  • Dutch has been a lifesaver for my pet care needs! Their convenient online service allowed me to get quick assistance for my pet's health issues without the stress of vet visits. From diagnosing a skin rash to delivering medications promptly, Dutch made the process seamless. Highly recommended for pet owners seeking easy and efficient care.

  • True life saver! A vet from Dutch diagnosed my baby’s (really painful and gross) skin rash over video and prescribed meds that got delivered to my door in no time..I was so impressed so now getting flea meds through Dutch too. 1000% recommend!
