  • D.S. & Durga is hands down the greatest fragrance company in the states. No matter what I wear or layer from their collection I always get compliments. "I Don't Know What" has become my daily driver after being on Bleu de Chanel for over 10 years. They last long thought the day and even when sweating the fragrances become more noticeable. They really work well with body chemistry. Everyone says "they're so expensive" but one spray goes a long way and the quality is second to none.

Would love to see deodorant and body wash eventually.

  • In a love/hate relationship with this brand. I fell in love with their beautiful branding and photography but been very let down by most of their actual scents. The scents I do love are I Don't Know What: perfect "your skin but better" scent and their body wash and lotion are very heavily scented and stick to my skin after bathing which is ideal for me for perfumed bodycare. Jasmín Yucatan: Kind of biased since I love everything jasmine, I could wear just jasmine essential oil and be a happy girl. This is a very watery, light, candy-like jasmine. Totally immersive scent. Pistachio: I have no idea how anyone could say isn't a gourmand scent, it smells like straight up pistachio gelato to me 🤷🏾‍♀️. Love it. Also their Spotify playlists... 😘

  • One of my favorite fragrance brands. I use their car freshener in my closet to keep it smelling nice.

  • When I first discovered this brand I was won over by their cool website and marketing - as a copywriter, I love their play on words and humourous approach. Branding aside, unless I'm able to smell the scents at a physical store first, I'm hesistant to order a perfume directly online and sadly, not so many places where I live have physical bottles. I did however end up ordering the 'Holy Ficus' candle. The smell is super nice and cosy for my home but the burning time really doesn't last as long as I would have liked. I have candles from H&M home that have lasted longer.

  • I purchased 8 sample size fragrances and am truly obsessed with this brand. I wouldn't say it was the cheapest option, but for me it was completely worthwhile. I've loved all 8 scents and am alternating each day to figure out which I want to be my signature scent (though this has proven quite difficult since I really like them all). I even got a compliment on Bistro Waters - before that I had never had someone comment on a fragrance I was wearing! Super confidence booster.

  • Try the "I don't Know What" scent and get back to me. I am a firm believer that everyone needs to smell this divine fragrance (and as a bonus: it smells different on everyone).

  • Very innovative brand. I love their candles. I did buy their room sprays but they arrived broken unfortunately.

  • The brand's attention to detail and use of high-quality ingredients result in captivating and memorable scent experiences.

  • One of my favorite perfume brands. I've gotten a sampler pack and enjoy using the different scents, they are all super different and sophisticated multinoted scents. My favorite combo of all time, which I always get compliments for is Le Labo The Noir and Ds & Durga I don't know what. I also like I don't know what by itself and mixed with others. I also like Debaser, Notorious Oud, Coriander, and Cowboy Grass. There are some other good ones I like having the small sample sprays because they aren't perfumes I'd use everyday but they are fun testing and experimenting with. DS & Durga also has great playlist on spotify and they have an annual sample sale which is great considering the perfumes aren't cheap. The sample sale is in the summer though I think around July/ August so if you get into them just subscribe to the email so you can participate next year!

  • Absolute best, unexpected scents. I always get compliments when I wear these, especially when I layer them. It's fun to experiment with the lil sample-sized sprays. Every scent is so natural and fresh. Really unlike any other fragrance brand, I think.

  • Debaser is one of my favorite fragrances EVER. It's so fresh and sweet and warm yet green, milky and creamy yet bright. The branding is 100, the scents are unique and complex without being inaccessible, and the store experiences are *chef's kiss*. Obsessed with this brand.

I would love some more sweet vanilla-based scents :)

  • I don't want to be in a room if there isn't a Big Sur After Rain candle burning. It is both a sexy summertime and a cozy winter scent. PLEASE make a perfume of this!

  • Beautiful unique fragrances - transportive. Love debaser, rose Atlantic, rockaway Beach. Candles are amazing. Price is prohibitive and the perfumes don't last long. Would own more full sizes if I could afford it.

  • I really really like some of the fragrances this brand offers. Debaser, I Don't Know What, D.S., Durga, Cowboy Grass, and Radio Bombay are all really complex, beautiful fragrances, and there are a lot of good ones. I've bought their sample sets and "pocket perfumes". That said, I struggle with some of the brand choices, particularly with exclusivity and pricing. They upped their standard prices recently, and their most recent launches have been perplexing. Some seem more like a gimmick or bit than an actual fragrance. And the "limited edition" studio scents at $400 and $700 strike me as bizarre and unrealistic. Who, exactly, is this brand for? In addition, for its price point positioning, I am not impressed with this brand's longevity, other than on a few very potent scents. I'm not sure anyone can really justify paying $190 for 50ml of Rose Atlantic, a beautiful and interesting fragrance that fades away in an hour. I will still come into the store and smell things. But I think I'd rather invest in another brand that caters more towards me as a consumer. EDITED TO ADD: I'm a hypocrite and finally splurged on a full size bottle of Deep Dark Vanilla. worth it!

If you have money to burn, this is a great place to spend it. And the fragrances are amazing. But I don't see myself in the marketing, which is trying to be SO cool that it is too cool for me.

  • I purchased the Big Sur After the Rain Candle, and a sample set with Durga, Atlantic Rose, Sweet do Nothing and Grapefruit Generation. The candle smells fresh, unique and amazing. It immediately lifts my mood. The scent lingers for hours. Perfume is very personal, but all I can say is that the samples I purchased feel more elevated and distinctive than traditional luxury scents. For example Grapefruit Generation is a stronger citrus than a traditional citrus like D&G light blue. I can almost smell the pith or grapefruit rind. My partner wears it daily. My favourite everyday summer scent is Sweet Do Nothing. But Durga will be kept for special occasions. For me it comes off a a white floral, but way more intoxicating and heady. I kept smelling myself haha. The website feels like a true brand experience. I love how they communicate the perfume through colour, music, feeling and mood.

  • I've been wearing Debaser for a few months. This is one of the few fragrances that I receive a lot of compliments on due to it's uniqueness.

  • Absolutely love their scents. Debaser is my go-to spring fragrance. It makes me smell like I’ve run barefoot through a fig orchard.

  • absolutely amazing scents. I have not used another maker of perfume since discovering ds & durga. could be more affordable.
