To be totally honest, I’m someone who used to think that spending more than a couple bucks on socks was a waste of money but I’ve had my perspective totally transformed by these socks. They are so thick but not overwhelmingly to the point where my feet feel clammy and overheated. They also have a thick padding on the back near my achilles which prevents any uncomfortable chafing. I am a healthcare student and I have been learning more and more about the importance of taking care of one’s feet - and socks play in an important role in that! I hope the brand comes out with compression socks in the future. Another thing I love is the fact that they’re sustainably and ethically made in a time where Shein is the most popular clothing site. As I get older, I am starting to recognize the importance in buying less and buying quality. I’m really glad I gave these a try!

I like these, but the quality is hit or miss. I actually prefer the doublesoul construction, with the sheer/thin upper and cushioned bottom, over bombas, which are very thick and heavy to me. i don't agree with other reviewers saying they feel cheap – they feel breathable, and that thin layer is intentional. they feel like spring/summer socks, and bombas make me too sweaty in the summer. however, the seam at the top of the ankle sock, where the ankle cushioning is, started shredding, almost, after my first wear? i was really surprised by this and disappointed, because i like them and they feel high quality. the high socks are great and don't appear to have this issue yet.

These socks are so soft! They fit very well and seem to be high quality - hoping they hold up for many wears. Because of the softness, i expected them to be very thick but they are surprisingly pretty thin. Will be great for warm weather!

very comfy and soft socks with support for arches! love the colors. did not fade when I washed.

I love these socks. They wear well, are super comfortable, and don't slip at all. I recently went on vacation where we walked 7+ miles a day and they socks were a LIFESAVER for my feet. Cannot recommend enough.

Really comfortable socks in cool colors. I really enjoy the muted color wool of the socks and the soft feel.

Really good quality and super comfortable. I wear the short socks for my runs and the long socks with my doc martins. The color options are really beautiful too.

Love the socks they are super comfy and really cute. I did get them on the Thingdrop discount however I don’t think I would pay full price for them normally. Kind of expensive for socks.

These socks are comfortable and nicely cushioned. My only critique would be that I wish they had a bit more arch support.

I wouldn't compare these to Bombas - they're thicker and have less arch support. But they are veryyyy comfortable, and the colors are cute and muted. They are also MUCH more reasonable in price. Highly recommend.

Purchased six pairs of socks (3 high and 3 low pairs) as part of a thingdrop and waited a few months to post until I had enough time to test. I appreciated the minimal packaging - simple paper sleeves for each pair that could be recycled. I do like these socks, the colors are fun, they're well made and have held up over multiple washes. They seem more cushy than my bombas and are a better price point, though it's not quite clear how they're differentiating in the market. Re-purchase will depend on how long they last.

I tried these socks and I love how cushy the soles are! They help cushion your feed wonderfully so that you don’t just need amazing shoes to feel good. Love the colors they come in and that the tall socks do not fall down or create rings around my legs! I would purchase again in different colors!

Doublesoul socks are very comfortable, but overpriced for the quality. All of the pairs I bought started to pill and shred quite a bit after a few hours of wear.

got this as part of the thingdrop! overall really like, not as soft as i would maybe want but perhaps that's due to the sustainability of it all? regardless, a very very good sock!!

So initially I loved these socks — they are soft and really cute. But after a few washes they start to deteriorate which made me sad. So I’m on the fence about recommending this sock brand to others…
