Reviews mention

  • Rich, smooth vietnamese-style coffee
  • Inventive, crowd-pleasing flavor lineup
  • Convenient single-serve portability
  • Aromatic, high-quality coffee scent
  • Flimsy, tear-prone drip filters
  • Slow brewing cools the coffee
  • Inconsistent strength and bitterness
  • Waste-heavy single-use packaging

Copper Cow Coffee impresses in reviews for delivering rich, smooth Vietnamese-style pour-overs that are highly convenient for travel and everyday treats, with standout flavors like Churro, Vanilla, and Mocha and a beloved sweetened condensed milk creamer. However, reviewers cite issues with certain flavors (notably Lavender), slow or flimsy drip filters that can tear or cool the coffee, occasional bitterness or inconsistent strength, and waste-heavy single-use packaging—making it better as an indulgence than a daily ritual for some.

  • The flavored pour-over lattes are really delicious, and a good introduction to the idea of using a phin for more traditional vietnamese pourover. I really like the form-factor, and the plain creamer is also really good (I think the chocolate one is too chocolatey and not creamy enough, but that may be my personal preference). It's a seasonal item so it isn't on their site right now, but there's something weird about the mint one (my favorite) where it gets weirdly foamy when you poor hot water in it. Other flavors are unaffected by that issue.

  • i've been using the single drip coffee kits for years now and am obsessed. the packet of condensed milk is the best part and it tastes better than getting from a cafe! i pick mine up at HEB and they're affordable!

  • it's awkward to use. The taste is not that good either, and it's expensive. I think that its packaging is clever, that it's already in a filter, but -- it's not worth the money, and it takes forever (it seems) to brew. Definitely better coffees available on the market, but this is not the one.

  • Tried the regular flavor Copper Cow Coffee and it was an absolute delight. The drip bag is very cute and the scent of the coffee was great and high quality. The taste with condensed milk was sweet, but not too sweet.

Don't think much could be better. Love the packaging.

  • Love this coffee and I'm so glad they introduced grounds so I can use it with my pour over at home. Great flavors and the creamer is great too.

    Feedback

I usually only use half the creamer. Wish it came in a smaller size too

  • Great pour over experience, I know the sweet cream is the main purpose of drinking these but they're so great black.

  • Really tasty and deep, boldly flavored. My only complaint is that I can't quite find it pleasant enough to drink black. I've brewed it a few different ways and it always seems to come out bitter. However, it's really nice with a splash of milk and a hint of sugar.

  • Overall this coffee is really good! It’s super convenient with its pour over pouch and serving of condensed milk. It’s definitely reminiscent of one made fresh

  • I tried two different items and both really left much to be desired. The lavender was particularly awful, as it seemed that pouring boiling water on the lavender made it taste burnt.

  • I have tried Copper Cow's Lavender Latte as well as the Chai Tea Latte and both tasted amazing. I love the pour-over method which is perfect for lazy days. I also gifted a box to my friend who loved it as well.

  • These are great when I need some caffeine while at work! I stash the single-serve drip latte kits at my desk in my office, and it's super convenient—I no longer have to leave my office to get coffee, and I'm not spending a ton of money on subpar drip coffee at Starbucks. The flavor offerings are really great, and I like that there are regularly new seasonal flavors offered. The rewards program is also nice for repeat customers like me.

  • Love the brand and authentic Viet coffee. I tried the drip packs while camping and it was an easy way to make coffee and add condensed milk

    Feedback

I would get it again for special occasions are travel. The drip packs are not an everyday thing for me.

  • The taste is delicious. I am in love with the churro flavor BUT the pour over coffees are painful. It takes FOREVER for the cup to be made & you really need a lot of patience. I purchased it again as a gift because I think the concept is cool but wouldn't purchase it for myself again.

    Feedback

Somehow make the pour over concept a quicker solution? Not sure how this would be done but it wasn't a quality issue just that it was painfully long to brew.

  • I'm a casual coffee drinker but I really liked the taste of this.

    Feedback

Wish their latte kits produced a little less waste overall.

  • Tastes great, love their mocha latte set the most out of what I tried. Very easy to make and cute packaging.

  • Cute packaging and really good coffee! But a bit pricey!

    Feedback

3 stars only because it's too expensive

  • Easy to make with detailed instructions to enjoy a yummy cup of Vietnamese coffee. I have tried multiple flavours available on their site and my favourites are Rose and Lavender-based.

  • So perfect for camping, travelling etc. Best car coffee I've had.

    Feedback

I hesitate to use them regularly at home because of the single use packaging. Lots of wrappers and plastic which I didn't love.

  • I looove how easy it is to brew this delicious coffee. I don'tusually use the creamer since dairy upsets my tummy :( but it is delicious with and without it haha. I think my favorite flavor is the Salted Caramel even without the creamer! I just add some oat milk when I'm not trying to hurt my stomach :')

    Feedback

    I would love a non-dairy creamer option!

  • LOVE! These are so great and taste amazing. Since they’re pricey, I only get them when I’m camping or traveling. I recommend using a hand frother to mix in the condensed milk.
