As someone who's a big coffee drinker (snob), I was excited - yet skeptical - to try Cometeer. I ordered the pilot program light box, which included light roast capsules from Bird Rock, Equator, George Howell, and Counter Culture. The capsules arrived in an insulated box with a brick of dry ice to assure they stay frozen during transit. I prepared my first capsule by adding a frozen capsule to hot water, stirring until dissolved. I felt as though it tasted pretty close to a pour over made with fresh beans. I had many of the rest of the capsules defrosted in the fridge and poured over ice and water. I found the flavors of all four sets of capsules to be bright, light, and overall quite similar to being prepared fresh in a traditional brewing method.

It's a bit expensive (especially if you drink multiple cups a day, or share capsules with a partner).

It's a very unique concept in delivering the best flavor in coffee. I chose the light roast bundle. I was happy to be one of the 1st ones to try it. Here is what I like: coffee roasted and brewed to its perfection and then packed in frozen cups. I have had coffee 100's of different ways, each being its own ritual of morning just getting started. I get to experience top-notch coffee roasters from the country. I have to say that this validated why Central & SouthAmerican coffees are by far my favorites, and why I do not prefer African coffees from Ethiopia or Kenya. Another thing I like is the transparent nature to which Cometeer takes sustainability responsibly. From the packaging for shipping to the canisters when contain the frozen coffee brick can be reused, repurposed, or recycled.

The other two coffees from Africa; good roasters, but the coffee is just not for me. This is the only reason why I gave rating of 3, because the other two coffees were just not to my liking. At least I tried them I hope to be able to pick and choose my favorite boxes moving forward where I can mix and match based on my preferences. The image above of just dropping a brick of coffee in hot water is not accurate, at least based on my 1st experience. It may be because it was super hot on the day the package was delivered and the dry ice may have evaporated a lot faster. It may have refroze causing it to loose its shape. Please make sure to refreeze the coffee pods when you get them into the house.

Find a great cup of coffee has been a challenge since moving to the suburbs. I figured I'd give Cometeer a try - each cup tastes as if I got from a proper coffee shop in the city.

Received early entry to this subscription product and it is amazing! You can make cold or hot coffee and it really is delicious. Multiple flavors and strengths to choose

Watch out for the strength of the bold coffee, mucho caffeine!

I tried it on a friend's invite and for me it was...fine. But I know other folks who love it. Β―\_(ツ)_/Β― It's some kind of frozen, fresh-brewed coffee concentrate. Comes out to about $2 per cup. I felt uncomfortable with the amount of packaging to ship. If you love one of the coffees you might love it. Or you might like it to keep at the office or your in-laws or someplace else where you don't have your preferred setup? If this doesn't come across as wildly enthusiastic, that's because it's not. But if you're their ideal customer, or just Cometeer-curious, or are suffering from frozen-concentrate-FOMO then enjoy!

Keep working on the sustainability and flavor.

I eyed Cometeer for a whole two months or so prior to finally ordering my first box because I was skeptical that it would be as good as they said it was (plus the price!). However now that I have a subscription and after 5 shipments, I can fully say that it is worth it. It's super quick, easy, and very tasty. I actually get excited in the morning to make Cometeer & really enjoy those 2 minutes in my day where I'm making it & then the next hour when I'm drinking it. I like it best black with no milk or sugar so I can fully taste the notes of the beans. I tried to take a break and make Chemex coffee again, but it's just not as good or consistent (probably my own user error!) and I keep going back to Cometeer :)

Getting the per unit cost to go down would be awesome (within reason); would also enjoy more flavors/roasters since I've tried them all now, but I do think they are adding more

One of the coolest ways to have your coffee! It's a super high quality cup of Joe that takes no time to make. I was definitely skeptical at first, but I don't think there's any convenient coffee solution like it in taste and quality. I'm incredibly impressed.

I'd love for it not to be frozen because it takes up a good amount of space in my freezer. But maybe I need to buy less frozen meals to make room for this delicious coffee!

Been drinking Cometeer nonstop for a year - I love the product (as does everyone I share it with) and variety, and especially love that they include decaf and half-caf options for people like me ;).

Ordered this because of hype and am mostly happy with it! Cometeer tastes great, has many options to choose from, and is easy to make. Personally, it doesn't fit into my daily coffee routine because I already had a system that I really liked. BUT, I am glad I have these in my freezer for when I want a quick coffee or a coffee to-go. Also, it's so easy to make an iced latte with Cometeer so that's been a big draw during the summer. I use my Cometeer pods so unregularly that I've paused my subscription, but when I do run out I'll place another order. It's nice to have on hand.

Price is expensive and there's a lot of packaging. I'm glad the packaging is recyclable but I still don't feel great when I'm using it.
