Clinique earns largely positive reviews as a reliable, sensitive‑skin‑friendly brand with standout staples like Moisture Surge, Dramatically Different “yellow” lotion, Take The Day Off cleansing balm, and the cult‑favorite Black Honey lip, though innovation and some formulas divide. Reviewers praise hydrating, non‑greasy textures and natural finishes, but cite drawbacks such as heavy or patchy foundations on oily skin, drying face wash if used alone, underpowered makeup remover leaving an oily film, and mascara that dries out quickly.

I purchased the almost lipstick in black honey over the summer, and have really enjoyed the product so far. I like that it isn't sticky, comes in a low profile, sleek container. I also like how the color is sheer enough without needing to apply several layers, and that it doesn't dry out my lips.

I’ve always loved Clinique so much, I’ve tried a bunch of their products but the moisturizing gel is my favorite. It works really well with my oil skin and helps keep me from looking super shiny throughout the day.

I’ve tried a couple of Clinique products and had mixed feelings about them. The Moisture Surge 100H cream is nice and hydrating. I usually apply it after showering and it leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable. That said, I wouldn’t say it’s some miracle product like many influencers claim. It’s a good moisturizer, but not something super extraordinary in my experience. I also tried the Beyond Perfecting foundation + concealer. For my oily skin it feels quite heavy, and if you don’t prep your skin really well it can even look a bit patchy or flaky. The coverage is actually pretty good, but overall I wasn’t very impressed with it as a foundation. I ended up using it more as a concealer instead, and for that it works okay.

This is my absolute everyday go-to. It provides a sheer but evening finish to my skin that makes me look makeup free but awake and beautiful. It really enhances my skin and is great to know it is adding skincare and protection to my face daily.

The eyeliner applicator is easy to use without breaking. I am heavy handed, and some makeup eyeliner like to easily break on my if there on the thin side. I thought it was since it’s thin, but the cream formula made it easy to glide on my waterline without snapping. I thought since it’s called black honey, it would be only a brownish red pigment but noticed there is also red shimmer flakes in it. If your worried about having shimmer and it bothering your waterline, it didn’t for me and my eyes instantly cry if some eyeshadows or eyeliners go there.

I've been using Clinique ever since I was a child. My mom used their makeup and skincare and passed the love of their company onto me. I like the cleansing balm for taking off foundation. The blue rinse-off eye makeup remover works best on the upper-half of my face and eyes. Their foundation called Even Better in the lightest shade was the only foundation that didn't irritate or stick too much to my skin. I also have enjoyed their eye makeup products over the years. As someone who doesn't wear makeup anymore I still recommend them and will be using their products (skincare) on my daughter when she's a teen.

I use a wide range of Clinique products and have for many years. They are my go-to brand for skincare and makeup. I really love the ID moisturizer with active cartridge because you can customize to the needs of you skin. The moisture surge is really helpful when my skin is really dry and flaky in the winter.

I use the face wash in addition to an oil based face wash. It can be drying if I use it alone, but works great with the combo I use. I also like the make up remover balm but I usually get the cerave one because it’s cheaper and does the same job.

I find this brand products to be somewhat expensive, but in exchange for that, I feel like I do get truly high-quality ingredients in an overall luxury experience in terms of the scent form, factor design, and quality of the product in the actual bottle

The balm melts away makeup effortlessly and rinses clean without leaving residue. However, it’s on the pricier side compared to drugstore balms. If you have extremely dry skin, you might want something richer for winter months. 💦

Clinique has been around so long and they stay in business for a reason. Their products are amazing and remain high quality. The skincare has always been a favorite and of course the yellow lotion is a legend. Their make up is beautiful and natural looking. The black honey lip is a classic.

My Mom used a lot of Clinique when I was growing up and I still use it myself. I love their makeup removing balm. It's soft on the skin and gets rid of ALL the makeup. It's a really great heritage company.

I think this is a great brand. I've gotten so many products from this brand over the years. Their products go well on my skin and I have sensitive skin and it never reacts poorly to these products. They look good.

I’ve used many products over the years. I like most of their stuff. Wish America would bring back the acne concealer. Moisture surge is a gel cleanser you can’t go wrong with. No greasy feel. Would recommend.

I usually don't like serums because they leave a greasiness behind. I like this serum because it's a creamy serum that absorbs in seconds that leaves no greasiness. It's thicker in consistency so a little goes a long way. It feels good on the skin,. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and haven't really noticed a difference in my dark spots yet. I still have the whole bottle to finished though, so we'll see.

I can not believe that I guessed this shade correctly! I am in dismay and so incredibly proud of myself. The new Clinique even better clinical vitamin makeup broad spectrum spf 45 in shade light cool 01 couldn't possibly be any more perfect for my complexion. The foundation is lightweight and applies evenly. It provides moderate coverage and a matte finish. You can really smell the spf doing its job but in some weird way, it's a good thing. I didn't know what I was missing until I tried this product but now it feels like a necessity. I highly recommend that you give it a try for yourself! Your skin will thank you.

One of my first makeup products was a Clinique eyeshadow tester! They’ve had my heart for a long long time. Their Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is my favorite shade of lip in the world — I’d buy 50 tubes of this if I could.

Just such a classic brand- everyone’s moms and grandmas have some Clinique in their stash and so did my mom, and thus i have a solid selection of Clinique as well. Can’t go wrong- just very solid and reliable with non-irritating ingredients

Clinique’s moisture surge with SPF is the only moisturizer I’ll use on my whole face. It goes on so smoothly and doesn’t feel greasy or too thick. It leaves my skin feeling beautiful and moisturized. The container is sturdy and keeps the product clean and safe from contaminants.
