This was a weird one! I mailed my impressions back but they got lost in the mail and when I reached out it was definitely bots emailing me back as they did not understand AT ALL what I was asking and I never got a refund.

Update: I left this review a year ago and, honestly, I’ve had no issues since then. Every few months I get a new guard in the mail. I saw a below review say they don’t send it every 3 months but you only get charged when they send it so I don’t mind if it’s not 3 months on the dot, I really don’t keep track. I had a chipped tooth fixed and they sent me a new impression kit for free, it was really nice of them. I guess I like Cheeky now! Old review: I’ve been using cheeky for 2+ years now and the product itself is good. However, customer service is horrible. Every single thing requires multiple emails and errors. I should probably cancel, it’s really not worth the headache.

All the negative reviews sound about right. I used Cheeky for the first time back in 2020 (before COVID), and it was a pain back then to get the order correctly. I never ended up receiving any of my subscription retainers, ultimately having to cancel. I didn't think much of it because it was 2020 but do remember how the customer service didn't even apologize or give an explanation they just went ahead and cancelled my subscription without even replying to my email—I figured times were weird back then, but I've now been dealing with them for about two months this year. trying to get new retainers, and customer service has been even worse than before, and I still have not idea when I'll be receiving my retainers. I think if the process is delayed any further I'd rather just cancel and save myself the trouble.

I've been a Cheeky subscriber for over a year now, and it's been an overall okay experience. The product works well (snug, comfortable fit on my teeth) but the service/logistics are very poor. Long delays in shipping and confusing instructions for setup.

My first set of impressions weren’t done properly so I was sent another kit. I sent in the second impressions and after not hearing anything from Cheeky for a month or so, I emailed them and was told that my impressions must have been lost in the mail. I asked for a refund and they said they could do that. This was 3 months ago and still no refund. I’ve sent many more e-mails asking for updates but Cheeky doesn’t respond! I would not recommend this product to anyone. My dentist and the hygienists were horrified when I told them that I was waiting on a night guard from Cheeky as it’s a known scam in the dental care world.

The night guard I got is comfortable, so thank you that I don’t have to wake up feeling like I’m clenching all night. The only problem I faced was the wait time - it took around two weeks to get my final guard after sending in the impression, but it was worth it. So, I won’t sulk 😛

Honestly, I wasn't sure about the nigt guard, all blame to my sensitive teeth. I thought it might irritate them more. But their custom guard didn't cause any discomfort. Thank you so much for making such an amazing product.

Buyer beware. Trouble from the start. Shipped my impressions back and didn't hear anything for weeks, then reached out and they said they'd send me a new kit and I waited a couple more weeks and nothing. Then when I asked for a refund they said there was a mistake and they found it and will get it processed and shipped right away. A couple weeks later finally got it. The guard was a good fit, I got the hybrid guard. However, within 45-60 days the hard part broke towards the back and separated from the soft part. I asked for a replacement and they said since it was over 30 days they couldn't help other than to charge and ship me another sooner than the subscription period. I immediately went into the portal and cancelled the subscription.

Cheeky has cute branding but fails at their core business. I gave their company a try for some reason after wearing night guards from other companies for years. The first guard I received from them seemed less finished than those from their competitors and fit so tightly it was like wearing braces. They sent me a second guard that, instead of being looser was so small I literally could not get it into my mouth. They have repeatedly responded to my requests for a refund by telling me that these are the characteristics of night guards and offering a soft guard, which is not an option. Do not recommend

First off, all of these positive reviews are from their company. Keep scrolling down and you'll see the REAL reviews. Not surprised this company posts their own glowing reviews. First off, too expensive. You're paying over $50 for a cheap-ass, thin (cracks all the time) mouthguard that costs them pennies. Then they have sales, but subscribers can't get the discount, so you're paying a ridiculous amount. It's all stupid. Some guards come and they fit, others are wonky and you're out of luck. Don't bother with this over-priced silly company owned by some kid.

I use my night guard every night, and it has made such a difference in my life! The fit is perfect, and I no longer wake up with headaches or a sore jaw. I'm incredibly grateful to Cheeky for providing an affordable, high-quality solution. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable night guard!
