  • Chic magnetic organization system
  • Customizable labels and colors
  • Leak-resistant, travel-friendly design
  • Sustainable recycled-plastic construction
  • Small internal storage capacity
  • Heavier-than-expected containers
  • Occasional cracking durability issues
  • Awkward dispensing for liquids

Cadence earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the magnetic, leak-resistant, customizable capsules streamline packing and look chic, but size, weight, and durability issues temper enthusiasm. Reviews praise organization, aesthetics, sustainability, and strong magnets for tidy travel; drawbacks include small internal capacity for liquids like shampoo, occasional leakage, hard-to-open lids when wet, heavier build, weak magnet linkage at times, and reports of cracking over months of use.

  • I ordered the custom six piece pack and chose the colors petal, lavender, sand, terracotta, eucalyptus, and pacific. When selecting colors, I was also able to choose the labels. I selected conditioner, shampoo, body wash, cleanser, moisturizer, and the heart icon. I thought the selection process and checkout went very smoothly and I appreciated how easy it was to customize my order. Once the order was placed, I received an email summarizing my selections and a notification once my package was shipped. I received my order very quickly. Because I ordered the six pack, the package arrived in a very slim envelope with no packaging and it fit in my mailbox. Everything arrived without any damage and the product is gorgeous. The colors look exactly as pictured and the magnets are very strong! I can also easily remove the capsule label, but the magnet on top of the lid is also strong enough to keep the label in place. I feel like the capsules are a little too small if you need shampoo or conditioner or even body wash for a week long trip, but would be suitable for a weekend trip. I encourage future buyers to consider that when they’re choosing labels.

The container size is smaller than I expected and wouldn’t really hold enough of some products for longer trips. I think shampoo, conditioner and body wash would only work with this container for a short trip. The lids and base fit together really smoothly and I don’t think the containers will leak, but I haven’t tested yet.

  • ** This is not leakproof ** I was excited to try Cadence on my most recent trip, but instead of finding them useful and convenient, I found them tedious and underwhelming. While the concept of the product is strong, the product itself could use some improvement. I found it annoying to have to unscrew the top in the shower for things like my face wash—it didn't bother me as much for moisturizers and other things outside of the shower. I was most excited to use the container for my micellar water; however, I found the container leaking and ended up having to switch containers. One of the bottles was also already cracked when it arrived.

    Feedback

I think these could work well for creams, gels, vitamins, and really any form of non-liquids; however, they are also heavier and pricer than other travel containers.

  • Presentation wise this brand has it on lock. The branding is very consistent and I was impressed with the way the product came packaged. Overall, I have enjoyed testing these out, but if I had not received these at a discount I would feel this product is overpriced. The product is well made and very aesthetically pleasing but not necessarily worth the high price tag. The magnetic aspect is definitely nice, but not a deal breaker either way. I will definitely get some use out of these, but I don't if I would widely recommend them. I've found they work best for small things like medications, earrings and the like. It's also nice to measure out a single serving of preworkout or the like. I didn't like that I had to commit to the engraving when ordering so I chose to leave them blank and I will personally probably just color code the tiles if necessary. If you are really curious, I would suggest maybe buying one or two of them to try out and not committing to a full set.

The way the website was set up it was difficult to view the different colors. I also would have liked to just select the number I would want in every color instead of selecting each one of the six in the way it's set up. Overall, I would say for someone considering this the quality is there but it's not necessarily a much better value over things that are even half the price.

  • I purchased this set in a beautiful orange and cream packaging for my body and face products to carry on a 2-week trip to the Caribbean. The containers are big enough to carry enough product for the entire duration of my trip and it was very easy to pack in my carry on luggage. The containers seal shut so there is no spilling of the product. I love the replaceable names as it makes it so easy to change out the products you're carrying. I mostly used it for cleanser, creams, serums and body wash. Overall I enjoyed it.

Just make sure you don't tighten the cap too much or it will crack, one of mine did.

  • I can’t wait to go on vacation! I have 6 capsules and I am so excited to know I don’t have to carry around 6 different bottles of product in my luggage. Also, I love how customizable these are. Definitely recommend.

    Feedback

Do not over fill the containers! I made this mistake and thought it was leaking but it was not, cleanser just got squeezed out when I was tightening the cap on.

  • I have been looking for a pill organizer that isn’t super boring and Cadence has labeled containers that are magnetic that I just love! There’s a lot of cute colors to choose from. The labels on the top are interchangeable too - so if at some point I no longer want these to say the days of the week on them I can swap it out for other things (for example, they have labels for “conditioner,” “moisturizer,” etc. & they also have the option to make a custom label). All of their packaging is recyclable, and they even included a contact card that you can plant (somehow there’s seeds in the paper) and it will grow wild flowers! I love the versatility and overall fun of the Cadence containers.

    Feedback

The one thing is that they are on the pricier side - but they’re sustainable and easy to use for a large variety of items. The other nice thing is that pill boxes are eligible to buy with an HSA so there is also that option!

  • Great for not over packing! I love these capsules. They hold much more than you would think. I love how the tiles can be customized and capsules are magnetic. The only drawback is that they are a bit pricey.

    Only downside is the price.

  • These are such a great gift for anyone who likes to travel. I use them to keep toiletries, meds, and jewelry depending on where I’m headed. They’re magnetic and are so easy to label! I would definitely get another set in the future!

  • Like another reviewer stated, my containers were great in the beginning. Perfect for trips up to 4 days in my opinion (I have the original sized containers so the newer ones are definitely better for longer trips). However, after about a month or 2 I noticed a crack in one of my containers although I had never dropped them. I thought maybe it could be a reaction to Texas heat, as I had left my duffel bag in my car with the containers inside. But when I examined the two containers I had not used yet that remained in my bathroom away from sunlight I saw that they too were cracked. It’s a problem. Not only should they not have cracked given what I paid for them, but it’s resulting in a lot of mess in my toiletry bag. I’m going on a trip in about a month so I may just look for some dupes or go back to the more traditional travel bottles.

  • I really wanted to love the Cadence capsules. The concept made me feel organized. The idea of having the capsules connected through magnets and labels was perfect. Although they do not hold up for shampoo/conditioner/body wash quantities, I was willing to give them a try. After packing them on its first trip, two capsules leaked out very expensive facial products in my toiletry bag. I reached out to Cadence and they resolved the issue immediately by replacing the defective capsules (many thanks to Nate with Cadence.) Upon preparing the capsules for its second trip, I tried tipping over one of the capsules to test whether if it would leak. Sure enough, it leaked. Very upset to have spent about $150 on defective products. Cadence claims to be 100% leakproof when evidently it is not. Cadence claims it is worth the investment and "you buy once, and use forever." Unfortunately, it is not worth the investment and I can no longer use these capsules forever.

  • I really wanted to like this product. I was excited about it being a woman owned company and that they put so much emphasis on sustainability. The advertised price was more steep than I usually would spend on a product like this, but everything on their website made it look like this was a well thought out, well designed, sturdy product, but they just didn't stand up to the hype. I ordered 6 capsules in the light pink color. I loved the interchangeable, customizable labels. I also lived that they were easy to clean when you wanted to clean products our of, making them easy to use over and over. I do agree with other reviews that they are on the small side for shampoo/conditioner for more than a couple uses, but I did make them work for a few long weekend trips. I wouldn't say I travel super frequently, but I did have several chances to use them in the first few years I had them. I really did enjoy them at the beginning, but every capsule has since cracked. It started with the one I kept my dandruff shampoo in and I honestly thought it was a one off because that product is pretty potent, but they eventually all started cracking. A coupke have cracks on the inside of the lid and now leak some sort of dark crusty material into the inside of the capsule. Some just have cracks in the magnet on top and most of them have cracks down the side. I am still able to use a few of them for storing pills, jewelry, and moisturizer. But a couple are basically unusable at this point. Last time I traveled, something else in my bag had leaked and the liquid actually went through the cracks of the capsule and got my pills wet. So no, they are no longer leakproof if other substances can get inside from the outside. I was pretty disappointed they clapped out so quickly.

I love the look and function, but for the price they are pretty much a joke. They should be much more durable. I hope this company can improve the material to last longer. I also find it very interesting the website has sooo many reviews, but no where to add a review.

  • These are amazing, but unfortunately after about a year of ownership almost all of mine have cracked. I sent an email to the company and never got a response :( sadly I will not buy again. Spend a pretty penny for them to all crack

  • Love these capsules and how flexible they are. Once you get the hang of it, you find so many reasons to use and things to fit into a capsule! I use them around the house just as much as I do for traveling.

  • Cadence had me with the idea: tiny magnetic containers you can pack jewelry or meds into and snap together. But once I tried them, I realized I never used them. They’re simply too small to be practical. I brought them on one trip and afterward they just sat there. I still like the concept.. it just didn’t work for real life.

  • I read through some of the other reviews and I completely hear people on saying they're small and they're pricey, but I can't say enough good things about the 1 cadence container I have. I bought this for the sole purpose of putting my thyroid medicine in it to have on my nightstand (b/c who wants a bright orange pill bottle on their nightstand at age 28... not cute)... anyways, it is cute, functional and fits over a 30 day supply of my meds in the container.

  • I am not a fan of these products. They are so small that sometimes I only have one day's worth of moisturizer or shampoo. I've seen it recommended for jewelry as well, but they are a little clunky for that.

  • Sem dúvida a estética me pegou muito, além da beleza entrega qualidade e praticidade que eu buscava muito. Agora consigo otimizar para levar oq eu quero. Vale 10/10

  • I got this as a Christmas gift (it's usually my go-to gift). It's one of those things that I didn't want to buy by myself, but I'm so happy I have it! Has made traveling easier.

  • Very happy with these containers, but they don't work for everything. Best for lotions/creams. My cleanser is thin, so leaks and gets stuck in the lid threads which is messy. They're expensive for what it is, but I haven't found an alternative

  • I recently purchased Cadence containers, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! These modular capsules are beautifully designed, durable, and incredibly practical. They’re perfect for organizing my skincare, vitamins, and other small essentials for travel. The magnetic design makes them easy to stick together, and I love how customizable they are with labels. The leakproof feature is a lifesaver, especially when I pack liquids. Overall, Cadence has completely transformed how I pack and stay organized. It's a small investment that makes a big difference! Highly recommend it to anyone who loves thoughtful, well-designed products.
