  • Versatile culinary performance
  • Gift-ready presentation
  • Messy bottle pour
  • Occasionally bitter profile
  • Overly strong flavor intensity
  • Sticking bottle cap

Brightland impresses in reviews as a flavorful, gift-worthy line of olive oils, vinegars, and honey that elevates salads, bread, and simple dishes, though multiple users find it expensive and note bottle dribbling without the separate spout. Reviews praise standout SKUs like AWAKE, ALIVE, Ardor chili, lemon, basil, rosemary, and RAPTURE balsamic, yet a minority find the oil too strong, bitter, or less nuanced than connoisseur favorites.

  • Love how light it feels and tastes for cooking! Also bonus points for such a beautiful product to put in your kitchen.

  • I love Brightland oil! My husband got it for me for Christmas one year from Food52. We have been hooked ever since. I love the Awake olive oil, the Lemon olive oil, and the Chili oil. All are wonderfully flavorful. I'd recommend getting the pour top they sell, since the packaging makes it difficult to pour (it spills down the side a lot).

  • I tried a few of the olive oils. I liked the aesthetic and taste (amazing in salads! and with bread!) but I would not repurchase these due to the poorly designed packaging. With each pour, olive oil ran down the side of the bottle which is wasteful (given how pricey it is) and also annoying (I have to wipe it up and the bottle gets greasy). If you want a good clean pour, you have to buy a special spout for an additional $10? Give me a break.

  • I really love this olive oil, it’s such an elevated experience and you can truly taste the quality. I love having one for cooking and one for finishing, and I’ll never go back.

I didn’t have the spout to put on top, which made it really difficult to pour the right amount without spilling. Makes a great gift for anyone as well!

  • You don't know what you're missing in olive oil until you purchase brightland. it's light, delicious, flavorful and cute in your kitchen.

  • Great olive oil. Beautiful design. High quality - they have different ones for cooking and salads and such, which I thought was just for marketing but they really are more bitter based on what you are using it for.

  • I was able to try this brand for free (through a credit offered through the FastAF app), so I jumped at the opportunity. The olive oil is great quality, but I think the bottle was my favorite part! I kept refilling the jar long after I finished it.

    Feedback

A bit pricey, but I think this would make a great gift.

  • I got it like a gift form my sister and I love it and I gifted to my bestie too she love it too and I gonna buy it again for sure.

  • Good quality product. But a bit expensive and seems best as a gift not for regular purchases

    Feedback

    Less pricey and spicy!

  • I think the branding for Brightland is fantastic but the quality isn't as good. I buy from Fat Gold in the Bay Area and the taste is much more nuanced.

    Feedback

If you like good branding and good olive oil, worth buying. If you're an olive oil connoisseur, I'd buy from Fat Gold or another hyper-local California or Italian brand.

  • Bought as a gift. Packaging is beautiful and the product delivers. Definitely would reccomend.

  • Hands down the priciest but also best line of olive oils. I got a sample kit as a gift and immediately bought full size bottles from their site.

  • Verrrrry tasty. I think their bottles are so pretty

    Feedback

It looks awesome on my counter. It’s pricy but olive oil is one of those things worth investing in

  • High-quality olive oil with even prettier packaging. The vinegars are also pretty delicious.

While I enjoy this brand, I think it is better to give as gifts.

  • I LOVE BRIGHTLAND. I have never tasted fresher, fruitier olive oil. I truly feel the difference when cooking with the product, or just eating it as a dip for fresh bread.

  • I'm a sucker for good olive oil and good branding, and Brightland has both. These products are to die for. Such high quality flavors, beautiful smooth bottles that look perfect in a cabinet or on the counter. I also love that they had a partnership with The Farmlink Project, an organization they raised money for through the sales of one of their trios. A company with a heart, and one that makes high quality products; love.

  • Delicious olive oils and vinegars you can use in numerous recipes, dressings, etc. We purchased the variety pack for ourselves and we loved it so much, we also gifted packs to our friends as well! Beautiful packaging, delicious flavor. All around wonderful product.

  • Absolutely delicious! I'm such an olive oil girl and was definitely skeptical to try Brightland because of the price point, but it certainly delivered. From the branding to the taste, I love everything about it!

    Feedback

I wish the nozzle was a little more controlled. Every time I pour, a bit of oil runs down the side of the bottle, which can get a little messy and wasteful.

  • Love this olive oil for cooking and for aesthetic. Also love the founder story and that she's a WOC.

    Feedback

Wish they could lower the price point but I get that you pay for quality.

  • I've only used their olive oils myself, but I haven't had a bad meal with them. I can also attest that they make excellent host gifts.
